Moonsday, a lot of these are your posts, if there is anything else that I missed, can you post it. This way we have all the present info easily accesable within the first two pages...

After reading this I sat back and thought for a minute. I don't really think that this means they will not carry qtelevision. I think that this means they currently are not offering it. I did however pick up my phone and request the channel. I would also ask that every single last one of you do the same. Call your respective cable carriers, and other cable carriers, that might not even be in your area. Say you are thinking about moving and would like to know if the channel will be available. I mean hell, don't go breaking any laws to get them to air it, but do everything under the sun to make them aware. I will be calling as many times as I can, to "make them aware" of q television. I realyl do not believe that they will not be carrying it. I think they are just not announcing anything until at least the soft launch. After that, once qtelevision is ready for the hard launch I am sure it will be announced. Think about it, (even considering your own companies which you may have already called), why would a major company such as time warner say they are carrying a channel which has not even put out one single airwave yet? I would not do it either, in fear of making my own company look ridiculous. So despite the email, I still have high hopes, and continue to have trust in all the DD that has been posted here on these boards.

PALM SPRINGS -- Triangle Multi-Media Limited Inc., a locally based media company, soared in trading Tuesday following market speculation that the company will soon launch a 24-hour gay and lesbian cable television channel.

On Tuesday, more than 801 million shares changed hands on the Pink Sheets, an obscure stock exchange for sometimes troubled or emerging companies where huge money managers oftentimes trade on fractions of a penny -- as in the case of Triangle Multi-Media.

The company’s stock closed Tuesday at a fraction of a penny, at 0.0024.

Triangle Multi-Media President Frank Olsen, who was not available for immediate comment, has stated previously that he hopes to have a 24-hour transmission of sample programming available by May 1 to be distributed by satellite, and to theaters and hotel conference rooms.

In a Feb. 9 statement, Olsen said that Time Warner Cable television has agreed to make the signal available to any of its local system operators that want to broadcast it.

The company is now getting ready to go to work attracting other companies.

"We’re going to throw sand up in the air and hope the wind catches it," said Olsen. "It’s a slow business and it can take a while for things to catch on, but we think this can work. The cable networks can send the signal to whoever wants it without offending anyone."

Triangle Multi-Media formerly owned and operated two radio stations in Seattle that broadcast gay and lesbian programming.

After selling those stations three years ago, Triangle has concentrated on developing its television venture, the release said.

Olsen said that the company got off to a slow start when it rented too much office space and hired too many employees, but he said he’s sure the network will get off the ground.

According to an article published on the Pink Sheets’ Web site, the bulletin board is an outlet for smaller public companies that cannot trade on larger stock exchanges. On a typical trading day, the bulletin board oversees the trading of 300 million shares a day.

A spokesperson with the local Time Warner office in Palm Desert was not immediately available for comment Tuesday.

MAY 1ST!!!, I jumped right out of my seat. Drop everything and realize what this could mean! distributed by satelite and airing in theaters and hotel conference rooms. This will be the launch! maybe I really am out of it and overly hopefull, but can it be? Could this launch (the soft or hard launch) be taking place as the convention begins?

How much time does it take to set up a booth, unless you are preparing to 1.) air 2.) entertain stars 3.) prepare for the news of a hard launch? I would be there is that were the case. Trying to prevent anything from slipping out prematurely. 4.) a buyout? I think it is unlikely at this point, but hey...you never know...
the point is anything that can happen there is great news. There is only one thing that can hurt us at this point! that is if they simply just are not there....which I highly doubt.
Either way the programing will be airing that day, I have faith in that!

I know its greedy to talk about money but sometimes it motivates people.

My Exit Strategy:

By the time QBID reaches .10 there would be the foundation laid out. Sponsers, launches, website up & running, ect. At that point I will take out $30,000 out to pay down all credit card debt. It should leave me with enough shares in there that when it reaches .50 I will be able to take out another 30%. At the point of .50 we this new network will be known and be exposed to almost everyone. Sky is the limit if sucessful! Free shares is a good thing!
To look at it the other way - After the foundation is laid out and they are not sucessful PPS could drop, but by that time you would have at least exited at .10

So think of it this way - If convention goes well, if launch goes well..Thats the foundation which you can be exiting at if you get in now.

lunker: I asked frank that question before and his answer to me was yes he is going to sell the company, but not until it is successful. at the time i was there viacom was still planning to have a g/l channel and frank said to me "we will beat viacom" then smacked his fist on the table. as to when he will sell, I have a feeling that thought changes and will change daily as QTV progresses.

frank is not stupid and when QTV is up and running with subscribers, advertisers, etc then frank will probably sit back and let the bidding begin. lol and lunker it is to my knowledge that lets say viacom buys Q someday it will depend on what Q is doing at the time., the bigger the better and the better price we will get.. then our shares are turned over the viacom share..

QBID now has $35 to $45 Million dollars in cash, to help launch our QTV Channel Network with IMO and theory only, I also beleive that a BIG cable company with Big Pockets bought the 2-Billion shares on the open market that I feel Frank did sell just a few weeks ago.
In fact I feel this company started the buy in of QBID shares on April 12 and ended on or about april 15th. look at the following volume and share prices & see for yourself that all sales where all over 2-cents to a high of 3 cents a share.

What am i trying to say, IMO Frank made some kind of deal with a Cable company with Big Pockets to give QBID the $35 to $45 Million dollars frank needed to get this QTV Network channel on the air and Launch soon. by doing it this way the Big Cable company with Big Pockets not only will get all it's money back after launch, but also now owns a good 1/3 or so of the QTV Channel network.
Now that this mystery ?? Cable company has a big stake in the success of the QTV channel network, I also BET frank and this?? IMO Cable company made some kind of deal that this company can NOT sell any shares till 6-Months from the day they bought in, or starting in no sooner then OCTOBER !!!, due to the fact the QBID share price by October will be much higher then it is now. Now frank at that time has the option of buying back those shares or he just might let this Mystery company buy out all us shareholders at that time. the above is only my opinion and theory but think why Time Warner gave QTV a 10-Year contract, then think does TW help companies that they have a VESTED Interest in finanically.

a lot of people waste their entire lives at jobs they don't like because they need to make money. it may be greedy to talk about money, but who cares? i've been talking to a lot of people about qbid and it sort of makes some people uncomfortable. So far I've had an over-1000% gain. I've been working at a gas station to earn money for university. We sell lottery tickets. Almost every single person buys them on the days that the draw is really big. I can't believe how much people waste on those stupid things. 55% of the money doesn't even go back to prizes. I've been telling regulars about how much I've been making, and still no one wants to risk it for some reason... and they continue buying tickets. I'm convinced that it's partly because nobody wants to feel too greedy, especially up here where the average person has quasi-socialist views (working class area in Canada) They buy the ticket once in a while, then put it away... with a little sense of guilt. The guilt would just be too strong if they put a bit of work into it, say an hour a day like i'm doing, and actually started to make money.

And I'm perfectly serious, yesterday I was at a family gathering after a funeral. A conversation arose about how recently one person won 30 million dollars. Basically, everyone in the group said they were glad they didn't win, because what would you do with that sort of money? I know part of it was jealousy, but part of it was can be owed to the fact that we look down on people who get ahead, and it sort of pulls us down too.

VERY IMPORTANT POST for ALL TRUE QBID LONGS TO READ NOW!!!!
to cubby44 and all; that ask why can't frank start a share Buy Back now, instead of having to wait till October to even start a share buy back.The following is only My personal opinion why not now, so please keep this in mind.
First off; and Most important Frank & company did not have enough money to buy back even one share of QBID only a few months ago, But guess what happen in just the past three months?? Frank & NTI made some sort of agreement and put out a public PR stating this fact and look what happen to the QBID share price, the QBID share price went from worthless to a high of 3 cents a share all in about a two weeks or so time period, with more then 3 Billion shares bought & sold in that time period. as well.
Now also think, frank just admitted to us for the first time just last week that he
says we now have about 2-EXTRA Billion shares outstanding from 7 to as of last week QBID now has all of a sudden 9 billion appx shares outstanding true!!!.
Now where do you people think these 2-Billion new shares came from and who do you think sold all those 2-Billion shares on the open market last month or so, Hummm!!! you guessed it, Frank. Frank IMO sold those New 2-Billion shares on the open market at share prices over 2 cents a share. IF??? this is true ??, then as of now Frank and QBID now have or should have in the corporation bank accounts at least $35 to $40 Million dollars cash, now what did this Viacom say not to long ago about how much would it cost to start a all Gay 24/7 cable channel, you guessed it about $30 million dollars true, in fact ,Viacom said quote- Such a gay channel now could "be worth a $1 billion dollars," Redstone said, and would have a cost of only $30 million to start & launch.
Now does all this make some sense people, IMO the above is exactly or close to it what frank did just in the past few months.
NOW!!!! for the very first time Frank has the Cash to not only start a all gay 24/7 cable channel but just as important keep it running for many months to come until Advertising revenues & subscription revenues kick in , by then OCT comes and guess what people, frank now has more then enough money to start a 50% 1 year Buy back program to start to buy back QBID shares. YES the share price will be much higher by Oct, but who cares, now that Frank & QTV are bringing in tens of Millions in new revenues a Month.
The above is only IMO, I do not have and never did have any Inside info, so take the above as IMO only , but does it make any sense to any of you people. Thanks for your time.

Anyone remember that tremendous fall tho, right after the giant leap over two cents? In the level two, did it say two billion shares were sold around then? If this were true, wouldn't it have? Also, Why wouldn't they have tried to raise the pps before, with a nice juicy pr, so they could have started this then? Something tells me that Frank is already rich, thanks to-probably among other things- good sells during the last qbid runs. Maybe he's financing all this out of his own pocket. But then... why would they remain public? Every question just leads to another question.

What if Frank sells the company after a year, and it's like $2.00 a share? What would happen to our shares? Do we still have all of them, or do they get reduced because QBID was sold? Anybody that can answer this thanks.

CHIMAN34, if the company is sold we would probably get like 1 share for 10 of ours assuming the other companies shares are worth like $20 while ours are worth $2. But I really am not to sure either...just just how I think it would work.
P.S. now that I have just read Frank will sell, I really might just hold until then...

Any sell of the company must be approved by the board of directors and the majority of the stock holders. Lets say Time Warner is going to purchas QBID with a stock for stock transaction, if Time Warner is trading at $10 and we are trading at .10 then we would recieve 1 shares of Time Warner for each 100 shares of QBID. 1M shares QBID for 10K shares of Time Warner. Not a bad deal at all in my book.

I'm not sure,but if this merged with another company, wouldn't it be based on the difference of the price of their company stock, and that of QBID? In most cases a merger is a positive thing for the company that is acquired...at least with bank mergers in the larger cap companies I've noticed that is the case Does anyone else have any insight?

Futuresobjective: Those PR's you posted are old news from February 19. The initial soft launch date was going to be 5/1, but a more recent PR bumped that back to 5/15. Always look at the date of the information you're posting...

As for the response from T-W, that looks like a standard form letter they shot back to you. You'd probably have to call them to get any sort of real answer, and then again you'd have to get on the line with some VP in their contracts or investment division, who would probably not want to give out any information.

Best move you can make right now is to just sit on your hands for the next 2-4 weeks to see what happens between the convention and soft launch. I already dug up all of the negative information you could ever hope to find about TTN last month in one of the other threads. Their participation in the convention has almost completely wiped out my fears about them being serious about this, so just sit back and enjoy the ride.

RobinO, no need to sit on my hands, I have been along for the ride for a few weeks now. I saw the dates, on the pr's, just got me thinking...maybe they are going to try and air starting with the convention. There are a lot of rumors going around. Many people here have mill of shares, I do not. I have a little over 350,000 and plan on buying more this week. I hope to have around 450,000 sometime this week. I'll be happy with that and plan on holding long. GO QBID

Good move FO... I was pretty amazed at the people last week talking about "losing faith" and selling out. One guy mentioned his wife getting mad at him for not selling. It's amazing that you can get 100 people here talking about the shakedown, but when it happens there are still people who let it affect them. My only plan is to hold until they launch or until they say they're not going to launch... easiest investment strategy ever. I was out snorkeling off Longboat Key on Friday when it dropped to .011... didn't even know about it. Didn't care.

All the speculation in the world won't help this thing. It could potentially hurt it though. I sure hope the rumormongers spreading stuff about Rosie being at the convention are correct, since it would look pretty bad if everyone is expecting big stars at the show and it turns out that there really aren't any. Best not to get your expectations up.. Just let it run its course and hope for the best. Frank himself put out a PR (a horribly constructed one unfortunately..) about people spreading rumors and false information. He knows the affect that rumors and inaccurate information can have, so let's not be those people.

Mighty, 5k shares is still ALOT better than zero or even 1k. Another $100 invested will get you something like 6k more shares. You may want to consider throwing another $100 even if it may mean scrimping afterwards for a few weeks. But in the end do what is right for you. Heck even $75 ($50 for the stock, $25 for the trade) will get you 3k more. Something you may want to consider, even at a penny and a half to two cents is still a great entry point.

good morning all... i wonder what the day will bring for us.. in 10 minutes this morning, there were more than 250 hits on the qtv website... either we're all trying to see if they've updated, or word is spreading at the NCTA show... breakfast/meetings started at 7:30 and the exhibit floor opens at 10:30 (central time)..
