also...you said higher priced stocks as well...mkty is sort of a volatile stock but plenty of money can be made here...i made a little during the storms last year...they make portable generators that can be used when power goes out...could be a good play several times if done the right way

NLST has run nearly 400% thus far. The chart shows a cup and handle forming, very low float, people have made 300%+ and they are not selling. This stock is unique and I feel its going to blow right past last year's 52 week high of over $3.00, the volume coming in already is huge. This time last year NLST was dead in the water, however this year people are buying in early and they are not selling!

Forget hurricane & water stocks....How about stock in a co. that hunts & catches alligators? You know, they are having a huge problem in Florida.

YOU CANT GET A REAL UNDERSTANDING OF HURICANE STOCKS FOR 2OR 3YEARS,WAIT TILL THEN AND FIND OUT WHO IS GETTING ALL THE CONTRACTS EVERY YEAR.
I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM PENNYS ON THIS BECAUSE,PRICE WILL DEPEND ON THE BIG COMPANIES ABILITY TO DO EVERTHING CHEAP BECAUSE OF THERE SIZE.

home depot would be a safe play compared to the pinks however if a pink soars the rewards willbe better with the pink.

Hey Paul, I was in at .32 and out at .355, now I'm in for the long run at .395. I plan to buy another 30,000 shares if we see a dip tomorrow. I'm hoping for a Friday selloff.
I think we will still get a 8-10 bagger out of this stock. Much more people are buying as they know what it did last year. This is the best hurricane play out there, the float is so low it moves quick!

So you are confident this still has a ways to go? I 'll keep an eye on it, but really can't afford to take a hit right now, lost 50% of wife's account in pennies already. Do you plan to buy in dips sell in peaks days later, or ride some shares long? When do you expect this hurricane stock to get a good run, start day of season? Or the approach of a hurricane? Thanks dust off that crystal ball...better get a new one lol

Since you mentioned higher priced stocks, I think you should take a look at JLG.
It had been doing really well all year and then since April has gone down 25%. It is at a pretty cheap price to get in right now and just in time for their third quarter earnings report which will be on May 24th after market close.
What does it have to do with hurricanes? JLG makes arial work platforms. Their main market is rental companies (such as NationsRent, etc) who rent them out to construction companies and contractors. They also have a new product that is a small boom-lift that is on a trailer that they are now putting in Home Depot stores for consumers to rent. Lots of these in use both before and after big storms. Before, to help people get to higher windows for boarding up. After, to help replace shingles, repair siding, replace windows, etc.
I wish I could get into this stock at these prices. Unfortunately, I rode it down from some all-time highs! But I have a lot of confidence that this is one that is going to go up after the third quarter earnings report.
