Dog,
Did you look at a daily chart on this one? It looks like it does this damn near every day! Could be interesting.

I tried to buy at .05 .10 and .15 for a few weeks when it would run to .30 never filled small order not aon. I think the vol. is so low if you get caught you will be stuck.

Maybe try buying smaller blocks. Many times you can only get 5000 or 10000 shares on these low volume climbers.

This stock is a good example of what I have been going on about lately. Pick up 5000 shares at the dip and it always seems to close well. Find two or three of these things and play them daily, always of course, searching for new as each one is only good for 3-5 days generally. But you can see how it adds up in the end. BANK!!!

http://quotes.barchart.com/quote.asp?sym=KARE[/URL]

EVEN 2500 SHARES AT A DIME......$250....SELL LAST HOUR FOR .25 (THIS CLOSED AT 0.37) YOU MAKE A NICE CHUNK OF CHANGE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO SELL TWO 1250 BLOCKS OF SHARES AND PAY TWO TRADE FEES......YOU MAKE OVER $300 PROFIT WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS!!!

Hi -

If you ARE able to get filled cheap on a stock like this with almost no volume - How do you get out when you want to later? Looks like it could be a LONNNNNGgggggg wait! I've never bought one with low vol. - then again I've had some that on some days you'd think they fell off the earth - only to be followed by a 60 million day!!

Something like this I may try for say 2000 shares when it was at the dime. $200. Even if it takes a couple days selling 500 shares at a time (not putting it all out there at once but 500 at a time), if you could be selling at 0.20 or higher...I don't care if I have $100 in trade fees involved....end result is gonna net you a couple hundred bucks. Follow the trends of the low volume stocks day to day. Many play the same way day in and day out for a week or two. Get a feel for its rhythm for a couple days and try it. Playing six to eight of these a week doesn't tie up that much money and the end result for me is in the nieghborhood of a grand give or take per week. Nice Nieghborhood.

Nope. I put a buy in for 2000 at a limit of .10 and it immediately shot up to .27. Now its back down to .20. I'll keep the order in and see what happens.

This stock is hard to buy low. The price went down to .10 but the ask price remained at .25

Secondly where do you buy the stock when it's low at say around .20 is the ask prise around .25 +/- or is it around .60 +/-.. thirdly how long does it take for your order to fill both when u buy and sell? if someone could please help me out here it would help a lot..thanks a lot and don't laugh at my ingorance im still new to trading aproximatly 10 days of membership. thank you..

Keith,
I tried to buy this last month and the order never filled. Come to think of it, it's probably still hanging out there. No volume but the chart does look like a daytraders wet dream doesn't it? I have no idea how to buy a stock like this much less sell it if you do get filled. I better go cancel my buy order! Good luck if you do it!

Daddy,
I'm not with Scottrade but from what I've heard, they're not the firm to trade pinks with. Some they wont even allow you to buy and if they do I think they have some pretty exorbitant rates/percentages that they charge. I'm biased but Ameritrade has never done me wrong. 10.99 per trade be it pinks, BB, NASDAQ, etc. As far as a buy point on pinks, if you have level 2, you'll sometimes see a bid and ask but if not, it's a matter of following the buys and sells and putting in a buy at what you think is the lowest possible point that has a chance of going through.

thanks.. i also heard that scottrader charges 22 buck for every trade be it buy or sell and they take a lousy 1/2% percent of the principal investment.

If you have 5k to dump in, and don't care about being able to call someone, get Freetrade. Their support is excellent I get fast responses (e-mail support) if I ever need em, first 20 trades are free after that tehy are 3 bucks.
Cant go wrong.
