Quickest nickel I've made ever!
Going with Diana on this. Probably should not buy. There is more than just shorting going on.
Again, disregard, do NOT buy.
Diana, you are a darling!

PURL,
I HAVE OWNED AND TRADED THIS STOCK SINCE APRIL LAST YEAR AT .40. RODE IT UP AND ACCUMULATED FREE SHARE POSITION ALONG WITH POCKETING LOTS OF CASH.. FEEL LIKE THIS STOCK COULD BE MY 1ST BORN. I COMPLETELY SOLD OUT AT THE 7.00 LEVEL AND BOUGHT BACK AT 2.60 IN DECEMBER. WITH THE DOWNGRADE I SOLD TOTAL POSITION AGAIN AT THE 3.60 LEVEL. I DO THINK THIS STOCK WILL RESUME TO THE 7.00 LEVEL IN TIME. I WILL AGAIN REBUY WITH UPGRADE OR BOTTOM WHICH I SEE AT THE 2.50 TO 2.70 RANGE. WHEN YOU DO HAVE TIME TO CHECK THE STOCK OUT I THINK YOU WILL AGREE. THE ISSUE OF THE STOCK DROPPING DRAMATICALLY WITH 30% STOCK PROFITS FOR OPERATING CASH WAS AN STOCKHOLDER OVER REACTION IMHO.
PRICE IS 2.94 NOW. I BASED MY OPINION ON THE INTRA DAY TRADING POSSIBILITY ON THE DOW BEING DOWN 60 POINTS AND RECENT DOWNGRADE.

For all readers. You can well see working together, with honesty, can help all of us earn money, and can help all of us avoid losing money.
The day isn't over, nor has tomorrow come, but I have faith in Diana and I am very sure she just saved me from losing money, and saved you from following my lead, into loss of money.
I know I made the right decision based on Diana's skills and am indebted to her. Doesn't matter if IVAN bounces back at all. I will follow Diana's lead without hesitation, knowing she will be right almost all the time. I place my percentage bets on her, as you should.

I love these "bigs" as you call them, Diana.
IVAN is all over the place! Technical people would scream and run. Fundamentalist would simply pass out.
There is a lot of money to made on the "bigs" if you are patient. I like bringing thirty percent, fifty percent returns in only a month or two. That is "loan shark" level returns on money.
IVAN, yes, at 2.50 per would be good for a one month or so hold.

Tipster, I have been watching USTT for over three months. You will find some posts by me at Raging Bull quite a bit of time back, expressing my opinions.

HEH!
IVAN is approaching 2.70 per share way too fast. Looks like it will slide right on by the price and keep falling.
Purl Gurl
IVAN WILL PROBABLY BOUNCE 3 TIMES TODAY. 2.65--2.85 LOOKING AT SECOND BOUNCE LOW HERE COMING UP AGAIN. 2ND AND 3RD BOUNCE WILL NOT BE AS LOW OR HIGH AS THE 1ST. JMHO

Diana, beginning to look like IVAN will slide right on down to your projected 2.50 per share!
What I will be looking for is a sudden decrease in volume and stable prices, for an entry price, along share amount purchases averaging under 500 shares per buy.
I really think this one is good for maybe fifteen cents to twenty cents per share profit, oh, over three to six weeks.
posted
Ya'll really think the fall will stop at 2.50 er so? I think the bubble has broke for it--thinking might zig-zag way down from that figure. It is entirely possible it will fall below a dollar--panic selling 1-29 will show for sure how fast the fall is going--Calendra feller probably going to bite it over this stock too. BUT I could be WRONG, and have been very recently, so as always do your own DD. I looked at this one from Diana's and Purl's postings and saw news that troubled me a lot--but i really think people WILL over react and sell this one to way below where it needs to be--and i am gonna watch this one for a bottom bounce--cuz it will make a good one there where ever that occurs.....steve

When stocks like this crash, technicals become useless. There is no way to know just where IVAN will bottom out, Steve.
Earlier this week or last week, I discussed this stock and indicated it is severely inflated beyond reason. Some prior events caused this and investor losses.
Those events are worth brief discussion for those who are new to this game. I have been tracking this stock for many months.
I may have the dates on this a bit mixed up. Back around December 10, news came out IVAN is being listed in the S&P index. For reasons beyond my understanding, investors decided, "This stock is worth a lot!" based solely on being part of the index. Being listed in that index has nothing to do with value, performance, or anything. IVAN is just part of the index for overall industry performance, good or bad. This meaningless news drove prices from 2.82 per up to 3.63 per in one day.
As fate would have it, another piece of news came out the next day, can't remember the nature of the news, like CBS Market Watch or something, drove prices on up. By Christmas time, prices were well over 4.00 per share.
Just prior to those events, over five trading days, IVAN fell from 3.45 per to 2.82 per. Then BOOM! Feeding frenzy.
IVAN only displayed a 21 percent increase in revenue over 2003, based only on oil price increases. They were and still are a red ink company; losses.
Truth is, IVAN never would have reached those types of prices if investors were careful and prudent. Suppose they received their just deserves, although I don't like to see people lose money. They did not research, they bought into worthless "good" news, and bought into a typical feeding frenzy, an event where investors feed on each others hype and excitement.
Never buy on good news unless it is truly good news, like a great 10Q or factual increases in profit.
"This twenty-five cent stock will sell for three dollars in one month! BUY! BUY! BUY!"
Sure.
Here is a serious problem, Steve. IVAN is now well below its before Christmas price, probably about where it should be.
However, as you have commented, IVAN will fall much lower because of panic. So the serious problem is you have no way of knowing where it will bottom out.
On one hand, you have inexperienced investors running prices up beyond belief, and now you have those same inexperienced investors running prices down to who-knows-where.
Yesterday, IVAN was a day-trader's delight. Diana cleared well over a grand, close to two grand in a matter of minutes. I cleared a little under five-hundred, then chickened out! Scares me!
Today, tomorrow, future, IVAN is simply a nightmare for anyone wanting to sell, or anyone wanting to day-trade, nothing more than a downward death spiral now.
Your projection of under one dollar per share is very possible. This would not be a surprise at all.
We could jump on it at under a buck a share, but there are other problems.
All investors are afraid of this stock, least those who qualify as real investors. IVAN now has a bad history. Running prices back up will be very difficult, although there will be a brief initial surge in price when people like us jump in.
After that, IVAN could become stagnant.
I believe there will be a chance to pull fifteen to twenty cents per share out of IVAN, maybe a little more. Problem is, what will be a safe entry price?
In closing, for those new to the markets, never, absolutely never buy on good news unless it is truly good news. Never jump on a bandwagon, such as Mad Cow, The Moon and Nano Tech, unless you truly know what you are doing and are willing to take the extreme risks involved.
Think USGA. Seventy-five cent drop in price today and will continue. Your stop loss settings are pointless for that. Prices will fall faster than you can sell.
I recall warning some about this USGA, and now I feel guilty for not being more vocal about that stock.
New to this game? Perform extensive research, be very skeptical, treat all "things" as outright lies. Do not be a sucker.

Purl/Diana I just looked at ivan quote a little closer at 3 different sites. Now even the MM's seem scared with that kinda spread--oooohhhh. but i would guess it would kinda stop any trades placed before hours for tommorrow. I haven't seen that kind of spread fer a while, at least since the shorting of wel started in earnest. Must be for "breathing" room for the MM's.........steve
