It's time for Republicans to put up or shut up. No more talk - Action! The Stimulus Bill is all wrong and pork ridden according to Senate Republicans.
OK. I'll take you at you word.
Therefore as you see yourselves as the only "True Americans", you'll do what's right for the country and not participate in a program which you know to be wrong and flawed. And, as everyone in your state thinks exactly as you do, you will officially decline to accept any assistance from the Bill for the voters you represent.
Every Republican Senator who voted against the package should follow Gov. Sarah Palin's example by loudly and publicly stating, "Thanks, but no thanks." It's time for the GOP to put its wallet where its mouth is. Do the right thing, Senators. Stand up for your country and your ideals!
$789 Billion Package x 38% (the nay votes) = $ 300 Billion Dollars Saved the American Taxpayers. Your portion will be deposited in the US Treasury as payment toward the National Debit.
So ...
Every state that had both Senators vote for the Bill will qualify for its assistance 100% Every state that had its Senators split 1 for and 1 against the Bill will qualify at a rate of 50%. Every state that has both Senators vote against the Bill will not qualify for any assistance.
Stand Up and Be Counted!

I would go a step further and give all the nay votes a chance to revote to change the public record just for the sake of fairness and the money would be handed out according to the revote which would be made public in every newspaper in the country

If we're not gonna use it then we should really pay off the credit card with it don't cha think? Getting rid of the Iraq War Tab would take a lot of foreign interest payments out of the budget.

Probably ought to give thought to getting out of Afghanistan too for that same reason. We let the neo-cons spend all out chances there in Iraq and it looks that it may now be unwinable, as well as settleable, no matter what tact is taken now. We may be just stuffing money up a rat's azz now.
