Amy Fisher, Joey Buttafuoco Spotted Together
Joey Buttafuoco and Amy Fisher met for dinner Wednesday night on Long Island, more than a decade after the scandal that made them both famous in the first place.
A freelance photographer took pictures outside of Pace's Steakhouse in Port Jefferson for WNBC.com of Buttafuoco getting into his limo. Fisher was tougher to snap.
Both are single again, as both were recently issued divorce papers from their current spouses.
Buttafuoco was dressed in black, while the New York Post reports that Fisher, now 32, was dressed to the nines in a shapely dark sleeveless halter dress and heels.
There are some who believe this is all a publicity stunt, since a TV producer is interested in doing a reality show about the two.
Fisher, Buttafuoco's then 17-year-old lover, shot Mary Jo, Buttafuoco's then-wife, in the face in 1992.
Fisher, nicknamed the "Long Island Lolita," served seven years in prison. Buttafuoco pleaded guilty to statutory rape and served four months in jail.
Mary Jo, recovered. The couple remained together after the Fisher affair but divorced after moving to California.
Buttafuoco has been the one behind bars lately, recently serving three months for illegally possessing ammunition.
Buttafuoco pleaded no contest in July to illegally possessing ammunition. The case stemmed from a search of his Chatsworth home in 2005 by the Los Angeles County Probation Department.
At the time, Buttafuoco was on probation for a felony insurance fraud conviction. Prosecutors had said that Buttafuoco, who co-owned a San Fernando Valley auto body shop, told undercover investigators how to file false claims and cheat insurance companies.
