This is a subject that i don't think many of us want to talk about, including me. Not the vitamins, but the prostate. If you are 40 years or older, make sure you get a PSA test to get a baseline PSA. Not that this is a sure way to detect cancer, but can help. Most of the time the problems are not cancer, but even that is no fun. The prostate seems to be a very hard place to detect the cancer and many times not detected till you get a turp, to take some of the prostate away. It appears that even the cancer in the prostate can grow very very slow. There are many treatments for the enlarged prostate and cancer if you get it. If you are a Vietnam Vet your chances of getting it are higher, so make sure you get that psa test yearly.

Due to recent test, I am able to assure you I have no cancer.

Reaching that conclusion was not pleasant journey.

All three had it in different areas, breast lung, testicle.

You gotta admit...we came a long way as far a treatment goes....years ago you had NO shot

this site here was just (unfortunately) introduced to me.. i like it...

http://www.caringbridge.org/

it makes disseminating info easier, and i think it can be therapeutic for the patient if they are writing onto it...

Prostate cancer is a tough one to make a decision on what to do. There seems to be less knowledge of this area of the body than other areas and about the growth pattern of the cancer. They have definitely come a long ways, but hopefully they can even find better ways to detect it.

I've seen shows on that too, rim. It does appear to be real.

Makes a bit of sense out of the idea that your pet knows when you are sick before you do.
