Wow! Suprised Bush allowed him to resign... now either Bush will listen to the Dems and let them take the credit for ending the war (or blame for coninuing it), OR Bush will be his arragont self, but instead of Rumsfeld, all attacks will be on him.
Watch FRPT in the coming weeks and months because of this announcement. Rumsfeld was all about up armoring Humvees... now the DoD and Dems will move fast to get the Army the vehicles they need to win now.

I agree. It should be illegal to say anything about religion in an election. Everything other than i support free religious practices is banned.

Yes you are right - They have to be FOR the people to be elected BY the people, but that is only for a short period of time (2 months prior to election). After they are elected/re-elected they say screw the people (I didn't make any campaign promises ), I'm going to do what is in MY best interest, and of course MY special interests. And depending on their term they start the whole process over again when they are up for election again.
