PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2004--Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID) CEO, Frank Olsen, announced today that Q executives traveled to New York and Seattle 12 days ago and successfully met their three major objectives, which were:
1) Advertising. Olsen stated that a primary goal was to hire an advertising executive who had worked with the major houses to represent Q Television. Olsen was proud to announce that Q Television has hired Scott Seger, who not only has a solid background with major advertising houses but also on Wall Street and in the television industry specifically. "Scott Seger will be managing our new Madison Avenue office and will be hiring an advertising sales staff to assist him. Scott's experience will enable him to assist us in both the advertising and television areas. Scott's resume can be found on our website at www.qtelevision.com.
The Q Television advertising campaign will begin June 21st
2) Carriage. Olsen said the executives also made great inroads in firming up network carriage and making new appointments for carriage. They will be returning to New York at the end of June and have additional meetings scheduled in Connecticut. "Q Television is definitely on the move."
3) Finance. Olsen further stated that "Q executives signed an agreement to secure interim financing which should be sufficient to ensure its initial launch to the public." Such financing is primarily for the purpose of obtaining new programming, additional carriage and hiring key personnel. "I am sure this is good for the shareholders and it is wonderful for Q Television as we can show the carriage companies that we are a sound, viable company."
Q executives were also pleased to announce the acquisition of a large movie package to add to their programming library.
Olsen also commented on Viacom's (NYSE:VIA) announcement that they will be coming out with their own gay channel early in 2005: "We welcome Viacom to the gay playing field. The Q Television Network will provide news, information and entertainment for and by the gay community, but our objective is to be fun, not controversial. We believe that gay programming should be invited into people's homes by request and that is why we insist upon being scrambled. As you know, the way to be invited is to contact your local cable and satellite companies and ask them to carry Q Television in your area."

I am very pleased with today's press release. Ad campaign underway with a new NY office. So, every week there should be even more exciting news -- displaying their sincerity in moving forward to the launch.

No mention of the launch date; however even if it is delayed (who's to say) - it's better to get their "ducks in a row" before they make any undelivered promises

It's not fluff. They supplied several new and exciting pieces of information. It was mentioned before that certain key items could not be released due to contracts with others.
My trust in Q is building

The Q is on target. For those in the know - building a business takes an honest approach to make it suceed in the long term. All the roads are being laid appropriately enough. Equity funding, long term production ideals, carriage, big city national news feeds, major metropolitan offices.
Those that desire short term spunk should examine their staying power. A long romance is genuinely more rewarding than a premature spasm.

No confirmation--sound like BS to me. I have had you all turn on me before. Don't do this.
Please spend time with DD. Folks we are in the money. Do research. Post it.

Delight, good point. Q is making the right moves and is heading in the right direction. Communication is good, but too much fluff makes the markets skeptical. I just hope they can give us an update with concrete dates & contracts and walk this up slowly.

Depending on what they consider "advertising campaign", I don't think vendors wouldn't allow a campaign to start unless the catalyst that is being used to promote their products was almost immediately following t he campaign starting.
would/wouldn't- makes all the difference in the delivery.

Many of us have been in this well before it became a penny stock, and we continue to hold it because we have done our dd....although instead of posting, most of us lurk now because of discussions like these. Diana and Dardadog don't have to share anything with anyone, but those of us who know them know that their advice is not bull and based on facts and experience. To all my buddies, I've missed you greatly and apologize for not posting(Booty, pharmdman,Couch, Diana, Dog, Rizzo, sonny, Oilman, future, U4, etc.) Like I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I respect that. No one made up my mind for me when I decided to buy this, and no one is going to make up my mind for me as far as selling it. I did my own homework.

Yeah? Where is his resume on the website?
Why does the website still have old news on there. One would think they would update that with the new information if they are stating you can see his information there.

They hired an advertising exec. They had meetings al last week and they have come away with some financing,? they have firmed up carriage, that's good. They also purchased a movie package to add to their library. They addressed Viacom in an excellent manner! Most amportantly we're still on target with add campaign, on the 21st. I liked what they had to say and expect to hear more details soon.
