American Energy Production Inc. Announces Major New Development and Strategic Acquisition 2/23/2006
MINERAL WELLS, TX, Feb 23, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- American Energy Production Inc. (OTC BB: AMEP) is pleased to announce investee Bend Arch Petroleum has acquired another drilling rig in a joint venture agreement with Armadrill USA, a subsidiary of Aramadrill Mexico.
The acquisition consists of a Challenger 360 Drilling Rig capable of drilling to a depth of 6,000 feet as well as drilling horizontal wells in the Barnett Shale. In today's environment this deal greatly expands the business plan of Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. Profit potential for Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. will be greatly enhanced. Not only does this give the company the ability to use the rig on Bend Arch Petroleum's own drilling projects but management will now be able to contract the rig to other oil and natural gas operators for high drilling prices. The Challenger 360 rig will enable Bend Arch Petroleum to acquire working interests in other wells increases our diversification with drilling oil and natural gas wells and also producing oil and gas wells. Discussions are already underway on several drilling projects.
Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., stated, "With the exception of the purchase of our Ideco H-40 Drilling Rig, this is the most significant development of our company to date. I believe this deal greatly improves our future balance sheet and will make the drilling operation more efficient. I believe we are positioning The Company to be a major player in the Barnett Shale natural gas play. Also, the alliance Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. and Armadrill USA have formed will enable Bend Arch Petroleum to buy drilling equipment out of Mexico that is not available in the United States at this time."
Like the Ideco H-40 rig, the Armadrill rig needs some preparation work. The rig is already in Bend Arch Petroleum yard in Mineral Wells, Texas, and is being worked on daily. Management looks forward to the announcement of our first drilling contract or first Company project in the Barnett Shale.

I am looking forward to the next 6 months. This company has big news coming IMO.
1) Commercial quantities of gas from a completed Hart Ranch #8 well.
2) New drilling program for the Ideco H-40 rig.
3) Completed overhaul of the newly acquired Challenger 360.
Plus once the Challenger 360 is ready for action, they can use it on their own lease acreage or rent it out to others.
Risks include a dry well at Hart#8, or damage to one or both of the rigs.
The potential with this one outweighs the risk IMO, but always do your own DD.

Alot of volume today. I think I'll hold on for awhile. Looks like the only way this one is going to go is up!! Green all the way!
Posted by Lucas Brachish on :
I've been holding for a (relatively) long while (fall 2005), and I like how AMEP seems to have a solid floor -- never goes too red for me, even though I didn't buy in at the low.... sometimes it even gets a little green... And I'm fairly confident that we'll see this one run, and that's it's kind of a safe hold... But as winter draws to a close, I'm starting to wonder ....
For instance, just to play devil's advocate for a second: Weren't we supposed to see this run in Feb., with the oil/gas demand skyrocketing due to winter heating bills, and thus all related stocks going up due to potential $$ .... Since AMEP has stayed relatively flat through the 2006 winter, can we really hope that this will have as much potential to run in Spring or even Summer, since gas/oil speculation will not be as hot during that time?
I mean, unless AMEP strikes black gold in a major way....well, then the over-valuation / speculation in gas/oil that was going on in 2005 will leave us stranded with our current gas/oil holdings as (and if) gas/oil prices continue to level out and the summer lull sets in....
Thoughts, anyone?

The MMs have been working on AMEP for the past 4 months. The accumulation phase is almost completed. They are waiting for a major pr to make a run. The charts of AMEP and CLBE are very similar and shold run in the same way. Hold your shares tight and wait for the good news.

Thanks for the info.... will look into buying more AMEP, or at least holding longer term. (I agree that a major PR will send this flying; I just don't see this running based on pure oil/gas speculation anymore, so now we're dependent on big news, which isn't exactly a guarantee.) I made a few $$ on CLBE a few months back, but I'll look back at that again too, and see if it's worth another play. If the agreement here is correct -- that the MM's are going to run these soon -- then it'll be a great time for us all. Go Amep go.... Posted by JimSC on :

I am a much much bigger believer in PBLS but am not against a short term play in AMEP. RSI and SLOSTO show AMEP oversold or almost oversold. The recent history in the chart shows a nice bounce from oversold conditions. It could drift a small bit lower but an entry now is excellent in my opinon. The middle bollinger band has shown no resistance or support in the past and I do not think it will start now nor has 50 day moving average. It appears to me that .059 to .060 is the next relavent resistance.
I seriously doubt that there are many orders after market close on AMEP as it is an American company and not overseas. The price has opened lower a good percentage until the last three trading days this is one reason why accumulation line has risen continuously over the last few weeks. The last three to four days have shown me that the MMS are ready to let it run again with some buying pressure.
Taking a break from the bigger boards and having some fun with some of these pennies. LOL
I am in short term.

American Energy Production Inc. Announces Update on Bend Arch Petroleum Hart #1 Natural Gas Well Mar 28, 2006 8:30:00 AM MINERAL WELLS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/28/06 -- American Energy Production Inc. (OTC BB: AMEP) announced successful completion of drilling operations by Bend Arch Petroleum's Ideco H-40 drilling rig, Phantom Rig I on the Hart # 8 natural gas well. The drilling depth of the Bend Arch Petroleum's Hart # 8 reached 3,257 feet, the target depth of the original well plan to test the Keechi Farms Strawn sand.
The Hart # 8 natural gas well was electrically logged on March 12 and petroleum engineers determined the well bore has five potential oil and natural gas formations. 5 1/2' casing was cemented to the total depth of 3,257 feet. The Hart # 8 well has been acidized in the Keechi Farms Strawn sand and on Monday, March 27, the well was fractured stimulated. Management and treating company engineers determined the frac job was successful and now the frac water has to be recovered to determine the natural gas flow rate. The frac fluid should be recovered in four to seven days.
The Ideco Phantom Rig I will be moving to a second well on the Palo Pinto 12 well project and a location with a Ellenberger or a Mississippi reef high determined by the extensive seismic shoot recently completed by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. will be the target. The seismic mapping determined the location to be 70+ feet high to other Ellenberger formations in the area. The new well will be drilled into the Ellenberger Formation and then electric logs will determine if the unusually high formation will be a successful oil or natural gas producer. The Barnett Shale formation is above the Ellenberger formation and engineers will determine if a horizontal completion is also available in the Barnett Shale since this location is approximately 1,000 feet from the Murphy #1 Barnett Shale well that has produced over $1,000,000.00 since July of 2004.
Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., stated, "The Company is very excited with the opportunities that the Phantom Rig I will give Bend Arch Petroleum and Oil America Group to drill and participate in many new natural gas wells and oil wells. We believe the Company will expand its operations dramatically in the next few months."

Per todays PR:
... "Management and treating company engineers determined the frac job was successful and now the frac water has to be recovered to determine the natural gas flow rate. The frac fluid should be recovered in four to seven days." ...
For those of you who don't know, I am employed in the NG industry. From what I understand, it only takes about 24 hours to remove the frac fluid from a well after it has been fractured.
However, my knowledge of well completion is limited because most of the work I do involving gas wells takes place either before the rig is on site or after the well has been drilled, frac'd and completed.
A few things I can think of that would require more time would be either lack of experience due to new drilling crews, or maybe more stringent laws in Texas regarding removal of frac fluid. Also, I work with only NG wells, so perhaps the method is different when dealing with Oil or Oil/NG wells.
The company I work for is in PA and all that is required is a lined retaining pond, which is built before the rig arrives, and a large tank to contain the blast of fluid that literally shoots out of the well when the valve is opened after the frac.
Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on why it would take AMEP 4-7 days to remove the frac fluid?
TIA,
NR.

ARCA's or any other MM's ask or bid size doesn't mean squat...
Posted by Johnwayne on :
Bid/Ask size counts but not as much as people think. Sometimes it is more a question of who the MM is rather than how big the size is. And UBSS has been hanging around like a Tiberian bat all day.
Posted by gnulnx on :
Why doesn't the bid/ask size matter so much? I would think on thin stocks like these it would matter more?
Posted by KublaKhan on :
quote:A Tiberian bat is a blind winged-mammal.
As a respectful insult, Midshipman 1st Class Peter Preston told Admiral Kirk that if he can't see that the Enterprise has the best engine room in all of Starfleet, then he's "as blind as a Tiberian bat." (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan)
For those who don't know, like myself.
Posted by Johnwayne on :
GNULNX - many times bid/ask size is a bluff. That's why it matters who's posting the big blocks but not how many. Gives you a little insight as to their intentions. A big block on the bid means they are trying to stimulate buying, but doesn't really tell you the amount of shares they want. A big block on the ask means they are trying to stimulate selling but again doesn't really tell you how many shares they have. That's why "who" has the big block is a lot more important than how many shares are in the block.
KublaKhan - I didn't know that. Just picked up the slang from my genious brother. Thanks for the information.

The annual financial report shows the building of an oil company one lease and one oil or natural gas well at a time, while cutting debt and liabilities as the Company grows. AMEP assets have increased to $18,577,714 with the acquisition of oil and gas leases, drilling rigs, oil and gas production equipment and rolling stock the investees have accumulated in 2004 and 2005. The investees have positioned themselves to take full advantage of the historically high oil and natural gas prices."
2006 OUTLOOK
American Energy Production Inc. and its investees will be able to participate in many more oil and natural gas projects because of the ownership of its own drilling rigs. This rig availability allows Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. to select and drill Barnett Shale prospects that have the most potential for success. With 7000+ acres of Barnett Shale leases in the Ft. Worth Basin, which are held by producing oil or gas wells, Bend Arch Petroleum will continue to drill and develop its own leases as well as joint venture with other local operators.

Posted by Zosyn on :
Volume went up 50% on the day (from 10 mil to 15 mil) in 5-10 minutes.
Can you imagine where this is going to go when 1) the news gets out 2) volume alerts are tripped?
Sit back, relax, have a beer, and know this will gap in the am!!!
P.S. by the time i finished typing this (30-40 seconds) volume went up to 16.5!!

Little pullback here. I set a sell before lunch for a 25% gain for .98 but just got back and cancelled it. Glad it didn't get filled, I think it'll keep going up.
Posted by Bland on :
My wire will not clear until tomorrow morning... looks like I missed this one! Oh, and I wasted $20 on the wire...my e-check would have cleared in the am.
There may be a small chance of an AM position, depending on the gap size.

Posted by gnulnx on :
Nope not sell'in here....hell no. I am a believer in not getting greedy, but this has a little run in it still. Look at a 3 month chart. It has been in a steady accumlation phase.

Im not seeing much at .10. .12 looks to have some resistance, but still not really very much. Certianly nothing like what we have already taken out.

Everybody going to hold this in anticipation of AM Gap? Anybody want to call close?
Posted by PCola77 on :
Too bad most of my money was tied up when I bought in this morning. 30% of $1000 isn't as good as 30% of $2500, but I'll still take it Posted by Hold-em-er-fold-em on :
IF we can loose these .0999 sellers we are off!
Posted by gnulnx on :
I am gonna hold it.
Here's what I would like to see. I run to .115 then consolidation back to .099-.10 range with 1 r 2 stong volume bars at the end. I don't want to run to .15 today because that will mess up the chance of irrational exceberance tommorrow. I like a nice quite finish with stong activity. am gap then huge run tommorrow.
Posted by edbri871 on :
I'm holding for quite a while. In at 7.8 cents at open with 65,000 shares. I predict a 12 cent close and a gap up to 13-14 cents at open tommorow

Keep it steady above .10 for the next 1/2 hour than hope she might explode's EOD.

AMEP absolutely no resistance now to 14s
Posted by Johnwayne on :
If it gaps in am I will play the gap and sell, than buy back in with a smaller amount after the pullback. Gaps are tough to get out of though. I would love to see a nice steady rise tomorrow but gap is more probable if we get up to HOD close.

VRDM, IESV, HGSF, GSPI, and quite a few others in the last few day's.
I don't think anyone is going to laugh at you very much.
To be honest I like the way we closed. I didn't want to much of a run up today, because the 3 month chart shows a lot of potential for a 100% jump tommorrow. Of course it could just as easily go down. I just try to keep my emotions out of it. Although owning both OMOG, and AMEP today made it pretty damed hard to not get a little excited
See you peeps in the a.m.
Posted by KublaKhan on :
Scottrade had HOD at .14 but they just changed it back to .118
Posted by RockLobster on :
So close at or near HOD usually = gap in the AM!~ GLTA
Posted by Johnwayne on :
I am luke warm on close. But one way or the other we should see a run up in the am. Watch out for MM shake in morning though
Posted by BchOus on :
If the worth of the company has gone from 1.5Million to 18.5Million (rough figures), does that mean our stock is worth 17 times as much?.... Dumb question but it seems logical that the stock would be worth alot more.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Is 0.116 to late to get in on this? How high do you think this will run before dropping back down to the sub-0.10 range?
Also, you say watch out for MM shake in the AM, you think I could get some shares cheaper than 0.116, buy in ASAP, or just forget it for now and wait for it to drop back down?
Posted by DAYTRADER67 on :
This report was for the 4th quarter which should have been good ( amep ran to .14 after katrina) where is the earnings report for the 1st quarter. I say a quick bump up but it closes red jmho
Posted by Johnwayne on :
Brutus - I would wait for drop. Don't chase because it closed up 50% plus today. Daytrader may be right. We may see a head fake in the morning followed by a dip. With volume this big and with the close giving us mixed signals, it is hard to tell what it will do tomorrow. I for one am not expecting a big gap on this. Could be wrong. But at a minumim there will be a shake sometime in the am.
Posted by imakmony2005 on :

Here we go with the predictions....lmao
Posted by Johnwayne on :
Buck- What are you seeing for tomorrow? Gap?
Posted by buckstalker on :
Hey Duke Like I said earlier today...I have been in this stock since it was at .016 sold half on the last run to .14 and I am still holding freebies...I still believe in this company and I'm still holding...About tomorrow??? I'll let you know when trading starts...I don't make silly predictions on penny stocks...(but I think it will gap up)
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
------------------------- It's all in the timing....
Posted by buckstalker on :
Yes it is imak...
Posted by sabah on :
watch for retrace tommorow into friday, depending on circumstances we may see gap on monday. as for me, i will be selling off all of my shares (all freebies) tommorow morning and jump back in after it sets up another base below .1 i cant afford to miss out on this profit, ive been down over 11k this year and cant afford to take this opportunity to make back my losses - others may find it more beneficial to wait before selling off but i cant afford to take the risk right now. good luck to you all.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
This is a completely different stock, but I was invested in a stock at 0.085 a share waiting for a divy, and it rollercoastered from around 0.06 to 0.18 so I figured I'd just play those while I was waiting. Sold it at .12 when I thought it was going to turn around, but it went all the way up to .34, so I just don't want to miss out on something that looks like the same boat, hah.
Posted by madmoney on :
of course we realize this apparent increase in earnings is due mostly to an adjustment in the valuations of the companies assets without witch they would have shown a net loss on the year. unrealised gains dont equal real cash profits.
Posted by NEL on :
Maybe not this week but I'm guessing .25 soon. If you look back at the last big run went from about .04 to .14 all on speculation...we now have some decent facts and numbers so whatdo YOU think?
Posted by tonicma on :
This stock is a no brainer, heck all sub penny to penny oil stocks is a no brainers. That is why I have holdings in AMEP, PAPO,INSQ.
Love these stocks. Those who put moneyh in these stocks will become a multimillionaire.
Posted by edbri871 on :
Certainly way undervalued. Should be trading at 30 cents or more easily. 11.6 cents is a bargain, and this one will gap up in the am
Posted by skipdeez on :
a lot of talk about this. seems interesting. american bulls just posted a confirmed buy...
Posted by R.A. on :
So how are you gonna play it tomorrow? What are your expectations?
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
who are you talking to?
Posted by R.A. on :
Anyone that can answer... it doesn't matter... I want the people on the poll's opinion.
Posted by BchOus on :
I just toured their website, www.americanenergyproduction.com. Very impressive photos of well drilling, and well drilling equipment, which includes the challenger 360 rig that can drill sideways into shale. The director Charles Bitters had a 120K salary in 2004. Many other interesting aspects of a solid company. Post your thoughts on the company..I think it is worth investing in long term...

It doesn't get any better than that
Couple that with today's headlines:
quote: April 20 (Bloomberg) -- Oil traded above $72 for a second day in New York after a government report showed U.S. stockpiles unexpectedly fell as the peak season for demand approaches.
and it makes you think AMEP (as well as other oil and alternative energy stocks) may prove to be much more valuable than a quick flip will allow you to obtain.

AMEP gapping in pre market!!!
8:54 90,000 shares bid 0.119 ask 0.12
previous close: .116
Posted by PCola77 on :
Doesn't look like it gapped at all. Interesting.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Down a bit, I see a dip and then it coming back, but volume is moving quickly. 4mil shares in the first 2 min.
Edit: Gapping down now
Posted by gnulnx on :
Yep wrong on the gap call. Honestly it is likely to perform better if it retraces and consolidates a little bit.
Posted by Johnwayne on :
I like no gap. It may move up slowly today which is fine. I always get caught in gaps. Haven't learned well enough how to play them.
Posted by Zosyn on :
strange. it gapped up initially then gapped down a bit, -.87% i think.
i think it'll retrace though, little shake here.
Posted by PCola77 on :
Almost all buys in the last 5 minutes or so though. that wasn't too bad of a dip (if it's over...)
Posted by Johnwayne on :
Close was not strong enough yesterday for gap. And what's with all the 500 share buys?
Posted by PCola77 on :
Weird trading. Almost all either buys or transactions below the bid. I don't get it
Posted by Johnwayne on :
It's firming up here. Maybe had quite a few sells when there was no gap. That would off set any buying pressure, which I fell is fairly strong but not overpowering at this point. I don't know which way this one's going right now but it seems to have settled down for the time being. Dang this is a tough game to figure out guys.
Posted by PCola77 on :
All buys now and has already run back past yesterday's HOD
Posted by Zosyn on :
I'm out with my profit and going over to OMOG!
Posted by PCola77 on :
Cingrats Zosyn and good luck with OMOG. I'm holding this one for a while still.
Posted by edbri871 on :
Bad move, it's starting to run!
But hey OMOG may run as well
Posted by sabah on :
its being chased up by those still trying to get in. if volume holds it all depends on how far people are willing to chase it before realizing its due to drop back down again - either way its good for us because we are already in. id hold off to accumulate more shares, this is definetely going to retrace again before it has its real run.
Posted by PCola77 on :
Anyone have Level II? Seems like some resistance at .12, but doesn LII confirm that?
Posted by Johnwayne on :
HOD boys! Glad I held and cancelled my order to sell half at .106. I leanred alot from VRDM the last few times I played that. When everybody was sure it would gap and didn't, there was a sell off and then it took off to new highs. When everybody was sure it would gap and it did, a vicious sell off shook me out.

Reuters -
Oil jumped to a fresh record high above $74 a barrel on Thursday after a steep drop in U.S. gasoline inventories fueled fears of tight summer supplies at a time of growing anxiety over Iran's exports.
This can only HELP us for several days to come. It is amazing what happens to prices when fear is involved. Gas at my corner gas station has gone up 8 cents since yesterday.

Not bad Johnwayne. I am still holding for the time being. It looks like it is starting to consolidate. I think AMEP still has some upside in the next couple of day's. I did close my OMOG position fora 50% gain since yesterday. I also think it has some run left as well.
The entire market is acting a little anemic today.

American Energy Production Inc. announced successful completion of drilling operations by Bend Arch Petroleum's Ideco H-40 drilling rig, Phantom Rig I on the Hart # 8 natural gas well.
Posted by blou on :
4-20-06 Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., said, "The Company is very pleased with the progress of AMEP and its wholly owned investees Bend Arch Petroleum Inc., Production Resources Inc. and Oil America Group Corp. The investees have positioned themselves to take full advantage of the historically high oil and natural gas prices." American Energy Production Inc. and its investees will be able to participate in many more oil and natural gas projects because of the ownership of its own drilling rigs.

Speaks for itself. This stock like most oil stocks will only go up. I believe everyone should be in oil right now. Above are just 2 of the reasons.
Keep in mind this is just my opinion. I have many. That does not make them all right. But I do own 20K shares and triing to buy in again.

Here is the best technical case I can give you.
Look at a 2 day chart with hourly ticks. Notice something interesting about that volume?
Yeah me to. There is no volume on this sell off.
I would like to see us at least break even for the day to make the daily chart look a little more appealing. But regardless this puppy still has some play in it.

MM's are playing on inexperienced traders emotions here...they are manipulating lowlifes...i.e. a trade for 144000 just went through at the ask at .108 (a buy) next trade for 5000 shares at the bid...what happens next...they drop the bid and ask = MANIPULATION

i think they will push it up into close to get more interest for tommorow, we all know manipulation is their favorite game, and whats better than getting suckers to buy into a false run just to run it back down to accumulate more shares? mm's suck but occasionally they can make you rich we saw how fast they ran it down today, they can just as easily move it up like that if they wish.

you are right, slight wall. but i watched it bust through like 9x.13 this morning in about 5 seconds, the volume this generates can shatter walls with some buying pressure. MM's are playing, but so are we. GL!
Posted by gnulnx on :
farmgirl poses a very good question. My guess is it won't go down more than 10% more. Just a gut feeling.
I think redmax is also right. It looks like a descent base was formed around the .10 range.
Honestly I can see this one going either way tommorrow. But I don't see a HUGE drop at this point.
At the end of the day farmgirl is right in that oil is a great play right now and probably through the summer. Doubt I could hold a penny stock that long, but who knows.
Looks like we might close just under .10 as the day traders leave their positions. No volume tho.
Have a good night everyone.
Posted by farmgirl on :
If it drops 10% that would put us at about.09. I think we might even see a .0899 tomorrow. Either way tomorrow is another buy day for me. I am more then willing to hold through the weekend. This will go back up next week. All I have to do is look down the street to know thisis true. Gas wnet up .08 cents last night and another 3 cents since this morning in my neighborhood here in California. I will be glad that I can use my feet instead of my car to get as far as the computer to work this summer. I feel sorry for SUV owners. I saw 1 estimation that Reg. unleaded gas in California would go from 2.80 a gall to 3.50 plus by Memorial Day.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Well, why I bought into this stock so readily as soon as I found out about it is I'm about an hour away from Mineral Wells (their HQ). I've been seeing and hearing about all the wells they're putting up literally every place they can find. You can ask anybody and they personally know at least one person who has gotten contracts to put a well on their land and get a percentage of the proceeds. Right now this is a hot topic in TX and so I felt the stock was looking ripe for the picking.
Sure, it's down 4 cents from where I bought it, but I'm willing to hang in there, I definately see this heading back up soon.
Posted by gnulnx on :
Brutus, I know a drop like that hurts. I have certainly had a few myself. I used to try and buy the mid point of momentum rallies. Now I either catch them at the beggining or I wait for a big pull back...like AMEP today. I would rather miss a rally all together than accept the risk of buying at the top with the herd.
I think you may get your money back if you hold...heck I am betting on it with my own money as well! :-)
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Haha, well here's a story about not wanting to buy in the middle of a rally (which is probably why I did today).
About a month ago TDFXQ was at .08, and every few months it would go up to about .16 and drop back down.
So I was in at .085 and it jumped up to .12, looked like it was going to drop back down so I sold, and it promptly went to .19 (I think something like a 2 year high for it, maybe more).
So I'm disappointed, but happy I made a nice profit. Until it continued on to .22, .25, etc., until it hit .33 and started slowly dropping again.
I'm happy it's dropping again so I can get back in, then at .23 (today) it jumps to .35, and 5 minutes later to .40.
I could've flipped this stock so many times it hurts to think about it, but then again hindsight is 20/20 *sigh*

Seems to me that the value of this company with oil going into the stratosphere is one thing and the manipulation of it my the mm's is the reality. If people wouldn't be bid whacking they would have no choice but to let it go higher or get squeezed. Amep is one of the otcc oil companies that actually has some positive cash flow . I think it will soon start upwards once all the shaking is done. I wouldn't be surprised if it gaps up tomorrow after traders see the dailies and low entry.
Posted by tonicma on :
I got out of this stock and OMOG today. I sold OMOG the first half hour. AMEP I sold at the peak thanks to OMOG foreshadowing the plunge after the run up.
Take note of both the OMOG and AMEP charts, AMEP run up and fall was about 30 min right after OMOG.
So I sold all based on warnings fromOMOG. I might buy back next week after Oil settles a bit.

IMO? Anyone who bought at 0.14 in October of last year that never got out, got their chance today. Hopefully they are all done and we move upwards from here.
Posted by DAYTRADER67 on :
Well even accounting for the people who were holding out for .14 to sell so they could break even it still doesnt explain the dip into the .09's.Imho amep will be back to the 07-08 range in 2 weeks.

AMEP DD: New video, Its from 4/20 yesterday, rumor has it there maybe a huge PR 4/21 today.. The well has gas... Hart #8
Once the frac water is removed they will be able to get real numbers from the well. The most important thing is that THIS IS NOT A DRY WELL, and they already have approval to drill the next hole. The permit has already been inked, and it's a done deal.
600 PSI on Hart #8 Meter..................WOW!!!!!!!!!!
AMEP owns 100% of the the 7000 Barnett acres. How?, upper zones that are producing include the deeper rights. THIS IS KEY as many much bigger O&G companies do not have anywhere near that %. The last 10K is NOT up to date on the above Barnett valuation. Rig rates in Texas are rising daily and $7000 per day is not unusual......know that that is d**n near net because demand is so high for any rig and the producer NOW pays all costs like mud, water, bits etc. That used to be included....no more.
AMEP:
1. wholey owns 2 drilling rigs with capacity to drill 8,000 feet...much deeper than the Barnett......read.... at least one rig will provide a great cash influx drilling for others and the other rig will drill for AMEP AT COST thus making the net bottom line, to pay off any company well, much smaller.
2. NO DEBT
3. As of today, AMEP's 7000 Barnett acres have NOT been evaluated as to it's true potential.
4. Very low overhead as the company has a very savvy CEO that is INFIELD daily running operations.
5. Upper Zones wholey owned that in themselves can sustain PPS increases in these climbing O&G rates....Thank you China.
6. Steel prices....read casing, pumpjacks etc. are rising 5% per month in that Barnett boom. AMEP has wells to plug to use in new wells...very important to the bottom line
7. AMEP owns a pipeline that is a revenue source. This is never talked about but is a cash cow.

Pcola, sent you a PM, but I though about it and figured I would post it here for everyones info...
Alphatrade is just a quoting service. They, unfortunately, are not a broker. But they are great for real-time streaming quotes and L2's. I use Choicetrade for my broker, $5 commissions, trade OTCBB, pinks, big boards, whatever. No percentage commissions taken on big orders, straight $5 trades. Doesn't hurt so bad if you screw up a trade at $5. Very happy with both. Just some info for you from my experience. Good luck!

The completion depth of the Bend Arch Petroleum's Hart #8 reached 3257 feet the target depth of the original well plan to test the Keechi Farms Strawn sand.
The Hart #8 natural gas well was electrically logged on March 12 and petroleum engineers determined the well bore has five potential oil and natural gas formations. 51/2' casing was cemented to the total depth of 3257 feet. The Hart #8 well has been acid zed in the Keechi Farms Strawn sand and on Monday, March 27 the well was fractured stimulated. Management and treating company engineers determined the frac job was successful, and now the frac water has to be recovered to determine the natural gas flow rate. The Hart #8 well still has 150 to 170 barrels of frac fluid to recover, and the gas well flow should increase significantly. The Hart #8 has 600 PSI shut in pressure at this time. The flow line to the gas sales meter has been installed and other production equipment is ready to hook up to the well. The well should be selling natural gas in the next few days. Moving video can be seen of the Hart #8 well test flowing natural gas on a 8/64th positive choke at www.americanenergyproduction.com and www.oilamericagroup.com
The Ideco Phantom Rig I has moved to a second well on the Palo Pinto 12 well project on a location with a Ellenberger or a Mississippi reef high, determined by the extensive seismic shoot recently completed by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. will be the target. The seismic mapping determined the location to be 70+ feet high to other Ellenberger formations in the area. The new well will be drilled into the Ellenberger Formation, and then electric logs will determine if the unusually high formation, will be a successful oil or natural gas producer.
We believe the Company will expand its operations dramatically in the next few months."

he sure did, a big block too, good call, and good sign.
Posted by TheCreator on :
yup, brining it down a lil' over lunch to pickup shares for afternoon run hopefully
Posted by gnulnx on :
Yeah I see that he moved his ask to .14, but he had a 500 bid earlier. It was pretty eratic with size. I think it was more of a scare tactic against sellers than anything. As soon as the news posted he cancelled his fake buy and put his current ask at .14
Game time.

Man, having the L2's for a week and now not having them just makes me feel blind in the water. I'm definately going to have to see if I can find a cheaper L2 program.

bids stacking up... arca leading the bids now.

Posted by PCola77 on :
uh, what happened to that .123?
Posted by PCola77 on :
Gotta love panic sellers.
Posted by TheCreator on :
buys coming in at the as steady then ubss and nite both drop it hard.. they do this **** all thetime.
Posted by skipdeez on :
hopefully they are trying to trigger some stop loss orders, and then they will let it go...
Posted by R.A. on :
lol I don't get it!
Posted by buckstalker on :
They are trying to steal your shares again...
Posted by R.A. on :
I like that idea... man this thing is gonna run... if it's not this afternoon, it's monday and next week.
Posted by sabah on :
this is typical, run it up to create more buying pressure and then drop it to get panic sellers to give them cheap shares, then raise it again and dump those shares and then drop and repeat. we will test 13's today definitely and perhaps even 14's depending on how volume holds up for the remainder of the day - and being friday its likely volume will be pumping until the bell.

Well... not as exciting as I thought it would be in the afternoon... :S
Posted by buckstalker on :
PERT...raise your ask and this might move...
Posted by buckstalker on :
I don't know how much risk others are taking on this stock, but I can tell you I am holding for a week or so unless I bank over 200%. This oil thing is a once in a life time opportunity to make a ton of money.
My other "real" plays are NBR (Drilling), RIG (Drilling), ADM(Ethanol, farming), and of course AMEP.
This has already been the single best money investing for me with these stocks and three other microcap ethanol/oil plays VRDM, GSPI, OMOG.
The current oil fears are going to be followed by oil shartages. The next 10 years in the USA are going to be a very interesting time. A lot of millionairs will be made while a lot of people hit utter poverty.
Good luck to everyone out there. Oh...BTW don't sell AMEP today...wait until monday at least. If you need to sell to a comfortable size position like I did then do that, but I really think this company has more to offer.
This is completely insane.
Posted by buckstalker on :
I am telling you guys... as soon as PERT (the dumbest MM I have ever seen) is done selling, this will move fast...
Posted by TheCreator on :
yeah pert won't move out of the way lol
Posted by PCola77 on :
Can you post L2? This is hard to watch. I'm still up a bit, but it sucks to see all your gains go away.

IMO? Hold tight if you are a long, this company is the real deal. Don't be discouraged at the stubborn .10 resistance level we are experiencing, there is still plenty of good news on the way.

17:18 ET Market Wrap The major averages closed in split fashion for the second day in a row as investors weighed a 2.1% surge in oil prices to record highs against more optimism on the earnings front among notable blue chips. More...
Numbers look good, iran still defiant, Morone Bin Looser makes a speech, oil down early but still really really high. I think today is a good day for AMEP.
I must admit that the longer the general stock market defies the price of oil and gold the more I worry about the economy. We are over due for a small recesion...I just fear that the longer it is post poned the worse it will be.
Any way picks for today are AMEP, OMOG, and TNOG. I may also take another small speculative position in GSPI.
Good Luck everyone. Maybe today is AMEP's day!!
Posted by lukin4winners on :
AMEP as soon as pert moves off the ask I expect some movement to the upside. The 10Q released saturday was very impressive no matter what the source was. How many otcbb stocks have that kind of balance sheet. Oil and energy stocks will be the hot topic for some time now and low priced high potential stocks like AMEP will be in the spotlight. It's still an mm's game but sooner or later demand will overcome mm resistance and that 14.5 AMEP resistance will come down and clear sailing after that. nice chart http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=10793213 from IB

I'm out. Got cold feet. I expected this on to open and run based on the reported financials. moved on to TNOG for the time being. Still think AMEP is a good play, just not today. Good luck to you all. I will be monitoring this stock waiting for another good time to jump in.
Posted by R.A. on :

Posted by farmgirl on :
I think that with oil going up MM's are preparing. I see oil stocks going up it is the only direction they can go. Look at your local gas pump.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
I look at my local gas pump and cry. I look at my oil stock and I cry. I just don't think I can win, hah
Posted by R.A. on :
Brutus LOL
It has to work on one side man! Just give it a little time!
Cheers.
Posted by gnulnx on :
I agree with Farmgirl, however I don't think you should under estimate how much they can fluctuate.
Also remember most of the money poring into oils stocks isn't going into penny stocks.
Posted by DmnCndn17 on :
i sold out with a 80 dollar loss. Ill get back in when the price is low. I raked my profits in when it hit .138. Im with gnulnx on this one.
Posted by R.A. on :
It appears we don't have the huge volume as last friday... how can this be?
Posted by iamsparticus on :
Because nobody is buying or selling. Posted by R.A. on :
Iamsparticus
Lol... very helpful, thanks! Posted by R.A. on :
I believe there's a lot of pumping on this one... that's why it's acting that way.
Posted by R.A. on :
It woud need a nice PR to put it back on a nice track towards the 0.20's.
Posted by R.A. on :
Look at that... below 0.10 for now... a lot of people will be selling this one... MM fill up their orders of cheap shares and see it running up this week or the next one... it's typical.
Posted by gnulnx on :
R.A. I think you are right. It is starting ot look attractive again. As long as it doesn't go as far down as .09 I think it is ok. This is just a blah day for oil stocks.
Posted by R.A. on :
There was big expectations about this one for today, but IMO the game is far from being over and we're just seeing the beginning of it. Hold on to it and it will pay off.
Posted by gnulnx on :
R.A. Have a look at TNOG. Look at the 3-4 year chart. It is showing a lot of promise over the next couple of months...based purely on chart speculation and past performance. I still like AMEP, but the prior runups are not nearly as consistant as TNOG.
Biggest drawback on TNOG for me is being a pink sheet. Ameritrade doesn't show level 2 for pinks and I hate trading pennies without L2.
Cheers
Posted by R.A. on :
Yeah I see what you mean... so your verdict would be to sell and wait for it to be more active... or to keep it on a short term (one week) and see what will happen. It seems to me the market has generally been slow today... but on the other side, AMEP has had a very low volume today compared to friday... must be less excitement about it. I'll se what happens tomorrow and take a decision at that time, but it seems to me to have a lot of prospect on a short term run with the oil price going up like crazy. I got in at 0.0795 si it's still not a loss... of course I could have sold it at the 0.135 we got last week... but I expected so much more out of it.
Posted by sabah on :
i got out half on friday at .117 just in case it pulled back today and i got out with most of my remaining shares (less 10k) as it was falling back down towards .10 from todays high. i dont think this week will be too productive for amep unless there is a pr of some worth - from trading this stock for over a year it has always ran in one week and then retraced the next, basically a week of mostly green and thena week of mostly red. i fully intend on jumping back in when i see activity is getting crazy again but right now i got my oil money in ndol amhd and tnog. if you are long term then i would still have faith, im still at a loss this year so i cant afford to have my money stagnant right now, but those of you holding for the future dont worry, this stock is destined to make new records for itself.
Posted by lukin4winners on :
This may take awhile but oil prices are not going away and AMEP is one of the better micro caps around. Once pert is off the ask and sellers are gone they will have to cover any shorts.
Posted by gnulnx on :
AMEP is up 1% in pre-market trading. I really like this stock. I may reenter the position today. I did take a position in TNOG yesterday as well.
Penny stocks scare the bejesus out of me the longer I hold them. They can just as easily plummet 75% as they can rise 100%...but that is were the potential profit lies.
Good Luck everyone.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
This is definately going back down some more before it comes back up. I'm sure it will come back up, but the question is do I want to sell now hoping that in 5 days (time to wait for my funds to become available again) the price is still below 10...
Posted by iamsparticus on :
Listen folks...this is exactly the same things that happened on Oct 1, 05. Brutus...this will pull back hard and you will be in the red for awhile. If you have the ability to hold this for 6 months then you will be ok. I lost some on one of my accounts in AMEP and help it. I got my money back because I was able to ignore my loss for awhile. I do not see this thing running up anymore. If you do then I hope I am not stepping on your toes. We have received the PR's we have been waiting for that took months to get. We got what we wanted and we took the profits we got. This is a strong company (for the pennies) and it will get stronger but it takes time and effort. Stick it out or take your loss. If you stick it out....like I said, be prepared to look at 50% loss for 6 months. Sorry, but that is coming from personal experience from the last run. GL to you,
Ian
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Well, unfortunately I can't hold this for 6 months. I'm out with a loss, but I'd rather have the money to invest in something else than keep it in AMEP while I wait for it to pop again.
Good luck to you guys though.
Posted by farmgirl on :
I do not think this will take 6 months. The way oil is right now. I do agree that we are not looking at this week.

Posted by farmgirl on :
If it goes below .09 I will start buying some more
Posted by farmgirl on :
My order is in for .089
Posted by iamsparticus on :
im really praying you all took some profits from this last run. You are going to be hurting if you didn't...If you are just buying more to average down then I feel sorry for you. If you swung this play right then you might be in ok shape...But you better know the basics of reading MACD and Stochastic in order to do it...dont buy this unless you have a reason more than a gut feeling. Oil prices or not. Do you think we are making that much money off of 170 barrels of oil? Do the math.
Posted by R.A. on :
Just sold AMEP... up a couple of bucks... like 100$... I just didn't want to make a loss there... I might get back in when in stands on a harder ground.

Posted by iamsparticus on :
how are those shares coming IMAK? You have been in this for a little while now. You should know how this thing swings. Why not make couple grand here, couple grand there. I will be back in...just aint gonna watch that great run go to nothing is all...It made 125% in the last week and has darn near lost all of it this week...what is the point of holding profit? Sotck aint worth anything until you sell.
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
I did sell right in to the run all shares i sold were for over 85% gain banked 4k, and now i think this is about the bottom so im reloading.
Posted by R.A. on :
No man... it will be lower than 0.09...
I would wait for buying back.
Posted by gnulnx on :
I agree with you both iamsparticus and imakmony2005.
It was nice to make about a gran on the upswing, but imakmoney my question for you is why not wait and let the market tell you when it has found a bottom? Sure you might make 5% more by calling it yourself, but you risk much more by being wrong?
Of course everyone has to have their own trading styles and I do wish you the best of luck...'cause if it turns I will be right back in there with you.
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
gnulnx, to me it is saying bottom might get in to the .07s but im playing for free so, N-GAS and OIL, are big, i see upside now.imo
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
Got 50,000 thousand shares at .086 lets see.
Posted by gnulnx on :
You might be right...it has had a significant selloff.
Posted by iamsparticus on :
I wish you luck. I dont mean to be negative. Just want everyone to be cautious with this right now. We dont want folks to end up like I did 6 months ago and dont want folks to be in Brutus's situation is all. It definitely will swing some more. Just dont get caught standing when the music stops is all. GL...
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
I just hate to watch MMs like ARCA picking up shares at .088 to .086 and then, they wont even sell till .135, so many newbs get burned.
Posted by iamsparticus on :
I agree with that too. I certainly did not sell my shares down there or got shaken up. I bought in last year at .04 and sold a bunch in Oct when it was at .13 but bought some at around.12 that I have had to hold for this long until it made its way up there again to not be in the loss. This time I sold half at .14, another half at .125, another half at .105 and am still holding 3000 right now for another run. 3000 aint really gonna make me much but its a couple hundred...that will cover my fees for buying and selling for the month though.
Posted by buckstalker on :
I just hate MM's like ARCA....period!

same here buck.
Posted by Brutus2600 on :
Yeah, I would say that I don't want anybody to be in my situation either, but it's not really that bad. Sure I got out of this at a loss, but I know I'm a newb at this whole thing, so I'm only "playing" with money that I can afford to lose.
So, my advice to newbs, don't play with money you can't afford to lose. That way you might end up sad about the money you did lose, but you don't end up in the poor house.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 26, 2006-- Oil America Group Corporation, a Wholly Owned Investee of American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB:AMEP), announced today the Company signed a Letter of Intent with Jacobson Oil Enterprises, LLC to sell and operate the OTIS Subterranean Oil Recovery Pump, a method and apparatus for subterranean oil recovery from water separation, in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico. The OTIS Pump is both a method and an apparatus for separating oil from water down hole underground. This eliminates the necessity and expense of hauling salt water to a disposal site. The expense of water disposal is eliminated and the cost of electricity associated with the pumping process in many cases is reduced from hundreds or thousands of dollars per month to $25 to $50 per month. In 2005 Jacobson Oil Enterprises amassed 26 proprietary patents dealing with the OTIS pump. "This is new oil recovery technology, which was invented to solve a problem. I am very proud of our development team and what they have achieved," said Hank Jacobson President of Jacobson Oil Enterprises. Joe Christopher, President of Oil America Group Corporation said, "Texas leads the list of states with unplugged and abandoned oil wells and OAGC is in the process of acquiring 20 oil wells in various formations to test the application of the OTIS pump. With thousands of oil wells that are currently non-producing liabilities, Oil America Group has the opportunity to bring this new dynamitic technology to the oil patch at a time oil is trading at historic highs of $75 a barrel. anyone who got in at 9 or 10 cents wont be dissapointed if they hold. this will touch 14 and beyond this summer, once amep has numbers on their oil removal then we cant even imagine where this stock will go - it will likely shoot beyond the actual worth of the company and then fall back down near the 20 cent range. im riding free shares from when i got in at .035 and watching this particular stock since before they got their first rig and knowing what almost everyone in this country should know by now about oil prices this summer, it doesnt take a fool to realize this, and other soon to drill oil companies will only increse in value as the months get warmer.

I have been thinking about not registering but just keep reading like I've been doing for the last year or so. Still don't know much about stocks, but have watched the dialogue and picked up a couple of stocks being touted... They are AMEP and RSHN. i haven't been disappointed in either stock. This has been a good stock (AMEP) to have and hold for the last several months. I jumped on this when I read the discussionsa long time ago. Initially I only brought 5000 shares then another 30,000, now I am up to 100000. Since buying basically doubled my monies. Think I will keep hold of the for a while longer. My hope is it get above a $1 for both. I wanted to thank you all for the good tips. Also, any thoughts on whether you think this has the ptential to go above a dollar? Thoughts?
Posted by sabah on :
$1 is possible but unlikely, it really all depends on how much oil this company will be able to produce and how effectively they can profit from it. for starters, amep has two of its own rigs - this means they do not have to rush their drilling nor pay the enormous renting fees that most other oil companies must pay to aquire rigs.
secondly, the long term goal for amep has been to aquire these rigs and begin the drilling process, for those who bought the stock in 2005 and before were looking at ameps potential success in completing these goals to make justifiable predictions on where the pps will stand after the goals are met. we are now approaching summer of 2006, and amep is finally about to reach those goals from over a year ago. this makes it difficult to see what the long term in this company can actually be and more difficult to gauge how high the price will go once they do strike enough oil to be pulling their daily estimates repetitively. for now, the previous long term goal has become essentially a short term goal and once this crucial criteria can be met, only then can a defendable estimate be made on if it is headed towards the dollar range. if anyone was to ask me what i estimate, i would say just hold on as long as you can afford to - once this company begins removing oil there is no telling how the market will react and where its pps will be taken.
Posted by imakmony2005 on :
FIST13F, Yes i am long and feel the sky is the limit once the company can meet its goals.

Did I read the financials wrong or did AMEP have 14 Million in net income. Was that from oil?

Not sure. They seem to be really turning this company into a money making machine.

American Energy Production Inc. Announces ``It Rained'' May 2, 2006 10:30:00 AM Copyright Business Wire 2006 MINERAL WELLS, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 2, 2006--
American Energy Production Inc. (OTCBB:AMEP) announced today a major rainfall on wholly owned Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. Palo Pinto 12 well leases in Palo Pinto County, Texas.
Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc., stated, "This may be one of the most important news releases AMEP has made in the past year for Bend Arch Petroleum Inc. The area around North Texas, especially Palo Pinto County hasn't had measurable rainfall for over one year resulting in a shortage of fresh water to fracture stimulate the Barnett Shale and Marble Falls formations currently in production. With over 3.5 inches of rain the creeks close to the property are running and the stock tanks are almost full. Having this volume of fresh water available Bend Arch can immediately make plans to get on the service companies list to begin frac operations."
The first well Bend Arch plans to fracture stimulate is the Hart #2 Marble Falls oil and natural gas producer. This well was originally fracture stimulated with a small 2600 barrel slick water frac in early 2005 and immediately produced 1000 barrels of oil in the first week of production. The Company believes by fracting with 8000 to 10000 barrels of slick water this well has the potential to make more oil and natural gas for an extended period of time.
A unidrolics jet pump assembly was installed on the Bend Arch Petroleum Hart #8 well on May 1st and as soon as storage tanks are delivered the gas well will be put into production. The unidrolics pump will help remove the fracture fluid still to be recovered from the well faster than a conventional pumping unit.
Bend Arch Petroleum's Phantom Rig I has commenced drilling on the Murphy #3 and 8 5/8" surface pipe has been cemented in place. The Company is very excited about this prospect well because of the seismic data retrieved from the extensive seismic shoot done in 2005 by Bend Arch Petroleum Inc.

I wanted to thank the people who answered the question I had a week ago. Been away from the computer so did not respond as quick as I would have liked. I was not looking at the short term for the $1 mark, just looking a year or so down the road. I just like the company a lot - relatively inexpensive, have a product people need, and are not in the red. I still have a lot to learn about stocks. I have no idea about L2s, M&Ms, etc. The graphs people post - I am just clueless. Is there a quick reference page or something (good book) to explain the terms and what you are looking at on the graphs? That would be extremely helpful.

What a lame headline for a PR. I don't care how valid the subject contained within may be; with a headline like that, investors will be wary and wary investors will bail. The title gives it the appearance of a fluff PR and nobody wants to invest in a company that releases fluff PRs.
Hopefully this can hold .10 tomorrow. If not, I'll be back when the weather clears up.
Then again, all the MOMO is with oil stocks, so who knows ... AMEP may still have a good week.

LOW VOLUME on AMEP!!! Why? I don't like the Low Volume!!! Any thoughts? Posted by imakmony2005 on :
ya MMs are locked and loaded its just when will they let this bad boy go.
Posted by gnulnx on :
I think AMEP is getting ready to run again guy's. It looks to have made a good consolidation around the .09 level. I'm back in.
2) Look at the 3 year chart. It shows a lot of price volatility. It also shows that AMEP is no stranger to the currnent price levels and that we are in a long term up trend.
3) Look at this 3 month chart. AMEP has a couple of points in history were it bounced off the 20 MVA and headed higher. It very much looks to be consolidating around the 20 MVA again. I suspect that a lot of technical traders are eyeing AMEP pretty seriously right now. the Friday homing pigeon candle stick adds reassurance that the uptrend should continue by bouncing of the 20 MVA
5) They have a nice informative web site with pictures of "real" hard assets. This is not a 1 person company like the CSJJ toilet I played the other day.
7) They have a couple of different projects meaning we have plenty of opportunity for more great news!
In my opinion AMEP is a solid company. Combined with the fact that it is in a long term uptrend and poised for a short term reversal and I think we have a winner. I'm betting on it!!
Good luck to everyone and of course the do your own due diligence disclaimer is in effect.

Issues a Morning Alert for American Energy Production Inc 5/18/2006
May 18, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- American Energy Production Inc (OTCBB:AMEP), is a company that our research team will be tracking over the ensuing weeks. They recently came out with a significant corporate development, causing a market stir. The BWR Research Team will continue to bring its subscribers cutting edge research tools, and second to none customer service.
American Energy Production Inc a Business Development Company who invests in other companies that acquire, develop, produce, explore, and sell oil and gas this morning announced that their subsidiary, Oil America Group Corporation signed a Letter of Intent with Jacobson Oil Enterprises, LLC to sell and operate the OTIS Subterranean Oil Recovery Pump, a method and apparatus for subterranean oil recovery from water separation, in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico.
This dramatic cost saving is an opportunity to revive the estimated 500,000 stripper or marginal oil wells in the United States and make the wells more economical to produce.
The Company believes the prospect of success is obviously very exciting with the OTIS pump."
Charles Bitters, President of American Energy Production Inc. stated, "We are very excited that Oil America Group Corporation, led by Joe Christopher has located and signed the letter of Intent with Jacobson Oil Enterprises to become involved with the OTIS subterranean oil recovery pump. This gives Oil America Group the opportunity to raise drilling funds for oil and gas partnerships but to also diversify into other fazes of the oil and natural gas industry.
American Energy Production Inc. expects immediate success with this endeavor. American Energy Production Inc shares have been trading on very strong volume over the last few days and still no release of corporate developments. This company is currently trading up just over 5% to $0.084 as investors continue to bat this company back and forth buying and selling on small gains. I feel that the next few months should have a positive affect on the company as energy costs continue to rise with the summer months approaching. With no recent developments this company has the potential to make a big move in the next couple of weeks. The BWR Research Team will continue to follow the market sentiment on this company and numerous others.

The most telling picture for me on that update is the fourth one down from the top.
The caption reads:
"The nonexistent (also Phantom?) Hart #8 with two brand spanking new storage tanks and separator. Someone must think the well has potential considering the investment."
I work as a surveyor for a fairly large NG company. I have never seen the company I work for place a tank and separator on a well site unless it was capable of producing comercial quantities of NG.
According to the original poster, this picture is of the Hart#8 well as referenced to in the following AMEP PR:
"A unidrolics jet pump assembly was installed on the Bend Arch Petroleum Hart #8 well on May 1st and as soon as storage tanks are delivered the gas well will be put into production. The unidrolics pump will help remove the fracture fluid still to be recovered from the well faster than a conventional pumping unit."
