i don't use ameritrde so i don't know how they do that...
PLNI? i see 21million plus shares traded with 73 trades.... most of the trading looks pretty clean, i see buys and sells of large blocks like 1 million at .032 and then 1 million at .033....
this is the MM's doing their job correctly...
Posted by Dustoff101 on :
glassman, ameritrade apex streamer shows 21 mil plus vol. However the quote section shows 16 mil plus.....Quote section reveals the NSS on a stock....Streamer - quote = NSS
Posted by glassman on :
hmmmm... it's not on the SHO list i checked that...
i wonder how Ameritrade knows the NS numbers?
unless they are in contact with the transfer agent?
or is that simply the difference between shares bought and shares sold today?

Posted by Balder on :
Its not on the SHO list because (as I understand it) only fully reporting companies are on the SHO list and PLNI is still a month or more out from moving to the OTCBB's.
When they published the first SHO list in January, when they accidently included all the Pinksheets, PLNI was listed.
btw, I am a long time PNLI investor. Currently hold 40mill shares.

OK guys, here's the deal on ameritrade...It ain't as easy as I thought to figger out the NSS just by deducting the quote vol. from the streamer vol. They still have several sources to arrive at true vol. They still screw it up.....Soon should only use one source.....I thought it might be to easy to find the NSS that way...Just going by what some young broker told me some time ago.....I hope no one made a buy or sell on my bad....thankyou for not killing me!!!!

here's the co. website....they have a big OS....the symbol they show(WKDH) is old...
That website is old and outdated. They are working on the new website right now and I have been told it will be going 'live' soon.
It is supposed to be much more professional, with a better organization for both potential custmers and investors.
This company has been paying more attention to their business than they have to their investor image. They have recently begun to take steps to improve their investor relations.
I personally see only good things ahead for us.

almost ready to hit a new high volume....
Posted by Balder on :
yes, it is one of the only pinksheets I have ever found with a positive cash flow and no debts (although they supposidly do have carry forward exenses for tax purposes).
At times I have questioned my investment (like when it fell below 0.002), but I have kept the faith and kept accumulating.
For the record: I do not believe that this is the time for the big breakout - that will occur when we move to the OTCBB.
This is also the only pinksheet I have played where I am not looking for an early 'out'. I am breaking the pink rules by regarding this as a long term investment.
I expect to see more price volatility as the short timers who have just recently entered take their profits.

I also want to say that I watch closely for people trying to manipulate this stock and I will call it out if I see it.

Ya, all five or so of us.

i can see why he might be concerned about a group playing with it...

All of my accumulation was done in 2004 - really wish I had put another $20-$30,000 into it last month.
I have been in other stocks where I have seen unsuspecting people lose money because traders were able to manipulate the price in a 'pump and dump'
I think stock scammers deserve their own level of Hell, like in Dante's Inferno.

somebody reacted to my post--which included the mention from the other thread about the RUMOR of a group play, presumably picked up from some other board. I noted that Glassman had merely provided a good post about volume. I've noticed that some people focus on only one thread, while the latest commentary is actually in another thread. As for me personally, all I was waiting on to get in on PLNI was *any* kind of forward movement as it seems have been becalmed for sometime now... So, now I'm in and glad of it.

Here's a cool PLNI post from RB: By: mike93433 - 07 May 2005, 12:19 PM EDT - Msg. 166 of 233
How construction materials are implemented...
Hello PLNI board. As an Architect, I feel I have a unique perspective of the Construction Industry. This is where I feel Plasticon may be headed:
Plasticon's main products are spacers and supports for re-bar. Traditionally, these products are chosen by Concrete contractors. (Architects and Engineers USUALLY do not specify materials related to construction METHODS). With the push for "Green" Buildings this is changing. Now most Government projects require a percentage of Post Consumer Waste Products in their buildings. Architects also see this as necessary but it is difficult to economically meet these requirements. The Plasticon products are an effective way to reach this goal. I expect to see more Architects begin to SPECIFY these products thereby making it a "requirement" (Not a Contractors option). In the interview the point was made that the EPA wanted the product on their list, this is VERY SIGNIFICANT as many specifiers go to these lists for products.
The traditional way that Concrete Contractors pick materials has also been covered by Plasticon. Again in the interview it was mentioned that they have signed on with a distributorship. This Distributorship tied to Georgia Pacific makes the Plasticon product Regionally available. The Plasticon product is not the only one out there but with the Distributorship it gives it a leg up because the fact is most Concrete Contractors would prefer to go to a nearby supplier than to order their materials. Again this also is HUGE news for Plasticon!! So in review Plasticon now has a double whammy to get their products into the hands of the Contractor: 1). It will be specified by the Architect. 2). It will be readily available in cases where it is not specified. (Voluntary Disclosure: Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Strong Buy) .

PLASTICON PROCURES LATEST GENERATION OF SLAB BOLSTER MOLD
The Most Technically Advanced Slab Bolster Mold Ever To Be Produced
Lexington, Kentucky May 10, 2005 (Business Wire)--Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets: PLNI) today announced the Company has purchased the latest generation of slab bolster mold.
This newest generation of slab bolster mold is the most technologically advanced design ever to be produced, incorporating the latest state of the art engineering. This new technology allows for many advantages in the production of the Company’s patented Slab Bolster rebar support product.
Production capacity with the new mold now increases to 60 feet per shot verses 10 feet for the older generation of molds. This is an explosive increase of 600 percent in production capability and allows for some 42,000,000 feet to be produced annually.
This latest mold design allows for a major increase in the allocation of new material. It will create a more cost effective production cycle, which will substantially lower out put costs. This new generation of Slab Bolster Mold increases productivity markedly, making the Company more profitable.
With Plasticon’s ability to increase production, while substantially lowering output costs, allows the Company to position itself to significantly increase sales going forward. The new mold design will give the Company cost competitive advantages as it negotiates additional sales opportunities around the world. Sales from the increased production capabilities of the new mold could top $12,000.000.00, a major portion of which is already under contract.
About the Slab Bolster Product
The Slab Bolster is used to support steel reinforcing bar as it is used in concrete structures.
Plasticon International’s patented Slab Bolster product offers the state of the art design in concrete reinforcing bar supports. This single product revolutionizes the rebar support industry and replaces all six of the existing support products, including wire, wire tipped, wired pipped, stainless, galvanized, and epoxy coated slab bolsters.
This revolutionary product with its unique engineering and design features offers many advantages over conventional rebar support products.
Plasticon’s Slab Bolster maintains it’s tolerance even after rebar has been placed on it, thereby eliminating the need to continually adjust the supports to meet engineering design specifications.
Because it is made from recycled plastics, the supports will not rust. The product will not absorb water. It is impervious to chloride ion attack. (decay of the support product ) It is dielectric. (will not conduct electricity ) For the above reasons, the incidence of spaulling is reduced dramatically, which is not the case with conventional support products. Spalling is the phenomenon where concrete tends to crack or break away due in part to rusting, decaying, or the use of non dielectric support products.
In addition to these advantages, there is no overlapping with Plasticon’s Slab Bolster product. Overlapping occurs in the use of conventional support products as they are placed in a particular job application and overlapped as the sections are joined together.
Due to the unique snap lock system which is a part of Plasticon’s patented Slab Bolster design overlapping is totally eliminated and support sections are quickly and easily joined together end to end using the snap lock system. This snap lock system results in a 6 to 7 % savings in the costs of materials on every application by eliminating overlapping, an obviously significant margin. There is an added savings of labor costs as the conventional process of overlapping and tying the supports together is also eliminated. These savings further serve to increase the Company’s cost competitive advantages.
“At Plasticon we are always searching for new innovations to increase efficiencies, not only in the design and manufacturing of our products, but more for our customers. We are extremely pleased with the positive impact our Slab Bolster has on the market, and we will continue to be an innovative force in the concrete industry,” stated the Company’s President and CEO James Turek.
About Plasticon International Inc.

Hey Dustoff, All I did was ask a ****ing question? Why must people like you insult others intelligence. And, I didn't know that I had a five star rating with just over 50 posts. Your 3 star rating with over 1300 posts doesn't say much for you. I was not being rude to you, so don't be rude to me. By the way, the brain on my head got me accepted to three med schools and two masters business schools. Glenn

Posted by glenngsxr on :
Not really sure BLuranger. Just not sure. I was asking previously if this may have been ran by a group for a little bit, but everyone was so happy that their stock went up, they said shut up and enjoy the ride and then proceeded to insult my intelligence. See where it is in about an hour and then maybe make a decision. That's what I plan to do. But, watch it carefully, because if the bottom falls out, it will crash hard. Or it could hold. I do have faith in this company however for the long run and plan to hold for long run. Glenn

The Green Baron Report is on a mission to be the best in micro-cap stock picking. Not only do we want our members to make a ton of money from our stock picks, but invest in companies that truly have a long-term future. Our only two stock ideas ever profiled during market hours, ImageXpres (IMJX) and China Media 1 (CMDA) are two companies we still believe every member should own over the next year. These two stocks were profiled respectively as our March 2005 Focus Stock Pick and April 2005 Focus Stock Pick, and the results since our profile dates are truly epic. (Keep in mind that the general stock market performance over this period of time has been flat to down)
Now, The Green Baron Report is proud to announce our May Focus Stock Pick and 42nd fully profile stock to be added to our stock home page of previous profiled picks. The stock is Plasticon International Inc. (PK: PLNI) and we believe this issue is set to take off for many reasons. Pink sheets issues are absolutely put through the ringer when we conduct our due diligence. We do not like to initiate coverage of a Pink Sheet listed stock as a fully profiled pick unless it meets ALL the criteria we maintain. PLNI met our strict review, and we believe you will agree after reading our profile.
Green Baron Technical Review
About a year ago, PLNI traded at much higher prices. In fact, PLNI hit .45 in April of 2004. However, as what happens to many Pink Sheet issues, an aggressive seller drove the stock to the floor. Over the past six months PLNI has been trading in a relatively tight trading range between .002 and .005 per share. There is now terrific support in these levels, although we do not anticipate the stock trading much below .005 any longer.
PLNI usually trades with a very tight spread of one or two hundreds of a cent between the bid and offer. Since there are at least 16 market makers currently involved, this stock sets itself up to not only be a great long-term hold, but also a wonderful trading stock. Volume recently has been huge. Last Thursday and Friday saw action with volume of about 50 million shares each day. Yesterday, Monday, May 9 was another huge day in PLNI as more investors are realizing the massive potential earnings from this company.
Please Note: The increase in price and volume late last week and the beginning of this week is likely due to CEO Jim Turek’s appearances on Money TV, a nationally syndicated television program featuring interviews with CEOs, insights into their operations, and outlooks for their futures (www.moneytv.net). The Green Baron Report did not purchase shares last week and, as usual, we have kept our pending coverage of Plasticon strictly confidential. On Money TV, the CEO indicated that they are “getting ready to make some announcements” and that they “received tremendous exposure (due to the first interview the week before).”
We believe much of the initial resistance has now been absorbed, and PLNI is ready to make a huge leap higher in price. Once PLNI breaks out above .0055 per share, there may be little resistance. Our fundamental analysis calls for valuation TODAY of between .03 and .05 per share. We expect sharp moves in PLNI, and the stock appears to be in the beginning stages of an uptrend. We expect fundamentally solid press releases to support what we believe is a Company with a very predictable future.
Green Baron Fundamental Review
In a recent Federal court case, Plasticon patents were upheld and revalued by the court placing a current value of $16 million. Existing injection molds for each of the 50 SKU’s have values of $4-5 million. If you add the potential for Plasticon’s exclusive distribution and sales agreement with the second largest seller of rebar in the United States and 63 warehouse distribution points, the numbers get sort of crazy. At only a $20 million net asset valuation, PLNI should be trading at over .01 per share. If you add in mildly successful sales projections, PLNI ought to be trading at .03 minimum in our opinion. Toss in audited financials, new products, faster production capabilities, and we just might have a HOME RUN in the making.
The Green Baron Report has actually over stated the number of shares issued and outstanding on purpose. Even though Plasticon has assured us that no shares will be sold onto the market to raise money and a 504 offering has been cancelled, there remains the possibility of an acquisition or joint venture. The current ceiling on the authorized number of shares that can be issued is 2 billion, and the Company has no intention to surpass this number.
CEO Turek controls over 70% of the issued and outstanding shares leaving only about 300 to 400 million shares in the float. Mr. Turek has informed us that he has no intention of selling any of his stock in the foreseeable future. In our opinion, last week’s activity likely shook out most of the weak holders in this stock, and now PLNI is left with a much stronger shareholder base.
An audit of all Plasticon financials that was initiated about nine moths ago is nearing completion. The Green Baron Report expects fully audited numbers to add significant credibility to the Company and its intention to achieve a higher listing. We do not pick up coverage at this level of support unless we are assured that the Company intends to achieve fully reporting status in the near-term.
About Plasticon International, Inc.
Plasticon International, Inc. of Lexington, KY designs, produces, and distributes high-quality concrete accessories, transportation signage, lumber, and office supplies which are all produced from recycled and recyclable plastics. The Company has been in the recycled plastics business for 10 years, and its line of patented, plastic concrete accessories has been approved or accepted in all 50 states and several foreign countries including Poland, Israel, Canada, Mexico, and Egypt. In addition, both its transportation signage and rebar support systems have received DOT approval in all 50 states.
Plasticon is the sole owner of an exclusive patented design of rebar support systems. Rebar supports are used to ensure the proper height placement of rebar horizontally and vertically in concrete. If the proper height is not achieved as specified by engineering, the concrete will not achieve its structural strength. Virtually all concrete construction requires rebar and rebar supports.
The rebar support market for US bridge reconstruction alone is $600 million annually, and the total U.S. market exceeds $1 billion. A partnership originally established with Georgia-Pacific’s building products distribution unit (now BlueLinx Corp. through an acquisition), provides a major market advantage for Plasticon as well as a competitive marketing position for BlueLinx. Plasticon has received tremendous response from projects using its rebar supports, and has plans to supply all 63 warehouse distribution points for BlueLinx in the United States.
Note: BlueLinx is a Fortune 500 company and distributes more than 10,000 building products in 14 categories from more than 1,600 supplier companies to customers nationwide. BlueLinx has a multi-year agreement to purchase structural panels, lumber and other building products manufactured by Georgia-Pacific and will be the exclusive distributor for select Georgia-Pacific-branded products.
A unique feature of all Plasticon products is that they are of the highest quality, yet do not require virgin raw material. Using recycled materials significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing, thus Plasticon is considered a “green company”. Plasticon’s use of environmental waste as raw material in the production of new and innovative products will continue to reduce waste since the new products are themselves, recyclable.
Plasticon’s patented products are recognized as the “Cadillac” in the industry and are without serious competition. PLNI products have been chosen for such showcase structures as Cleveland Stadium, The Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame, Tampa Convention Center, Toronto Sky Dome, Chattanooga Aquarium, Disney Orlando, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Tiffany Street Pier, and many others.
Plasticon rebar supports are constructed from strong, flexible, dielectric, non corrosive, recycled and engineered plastic materials. These concrete products do not rust, do not absorb water, and avoid the chloride ion attack. The slab and beam bolster products can be snapped together easily, saving labor and material expenses.
Green Baron Conclusion
Other than CEO Turek’s recent short updates on Money TV, there has been very little talk of this publicly traded stock over the past six months. PLNI has not released an official press release since December 16, 2004. We believe Plasticon has been flying under the radar and is about to absolutely explode higher as it appears now ready to implement its strategy to fill a major market demand.
BlueLinx has 63 warehouse distribution points in the United States. Plasticon supplies each warehouse currently ordering with $300,000 of product that is expected to last through a year. Although not all warehouses are currently receiving product, some warehouses have required reorders. In fact, early indications suggest that some warehouses could see a need to order 4 to 6 times per year.
Here is where the numbers get scary. If all 63 warehouses require say on average two turns in inventory per year, we are looking at 63 X $300,000 X 2 which equals revenues of $37.8 million. Let us add that margins are healthy, the Company has tax loss carry forwards, there is revenue from other product category sales, and sales for rebar supports will occur outside the U.S. and to other builders. All this just equals – HUGE STOCK OPPORTUNITY RIGHT NOW!!!
If Plasticon can achieve sales of even $20 million over the next few years, The Green Baron Report sees earnings per share in one year about equal to where PLNI currently trades. We believe that Plasticon rebar supports could become the standard in building. The structural and cost advantages make these products almost a “no-brainer” when it comes to deciding between the alternatives. In addition, most government projects now require that part of its buildings are constructed with Post Consumer Waste Products, and Plasticon products are already approved in this category. We suggest members with speculative accounts to seriously consider adding Plasticon to your long-term portfolios, and enjoy what we believe will be another Green Baron wealth builder.

everyone else who might have been sceptical about it saw wow yesterday and got in this morning it hit 100% they all(or at least most)probly sold which is normal at 100% for a stock here
but the reason its going back up and held so strong at another 40%+ gain is because all the people who were here yesterday are still here
so yes it was pumped to a sort of artificial level today but its not a pump and dump because the remaining holders are to many and to strong on the stock
i think itll continue up at smaller percentages for probly a couple of more days possibly hitting .01 or so and then people will start to drift towards the next big thing and support will wane on this one and it might drift back to the lvl its at now for a couple of months until the next big push to make it go up again
feel free to disagree with me thats what makes this board fun is to see differing opinions and remember i dont have a clue whats going on so take my words with a grain of salt

I do not disagree it normal for penny stocks where is almost impossible to know the financials or expert ratings, so unless the company comes up with awesome news is word of mouth on what stock to play for a week.

Jason... You really should learn to do some actual DD. Check some of the excellent DD in the Under .10 board that was done by FoT and others. PLNI started creepin up on Friday....more yesterday...and was doin good today...had an extra pop from GreenBaron report....and a gap alert by StockGains.net. Definitely not a pure group play...though some may have jumped on board for the ride. Its a real company...real products...real revenues. So in other words...i disagree with you Posted by Dustoff101 on :

first off im not crying nor bashing
second off pagan theres a dozen companies with real products and real revenue and real profits that people say the same thing as they are saying about this and they jump every 2-3 months then cool off its the normal pattern around here but whatever if you like insults go ahead and do that instead
HISC made $500000 on 2million or so revenues last year thats awesome profit percent they signed some new contracts it jumped 300% and has been what i call "cooling off" every since
and theres alot better examples than that
but they run almost the exact same pattern every single time if you havent seen it yet maybe you should check some more
i never once said this is bad or wrong and anything else it could very well go the distance but the OVERWHELMING majority follow the exact path i laid out in my other post
im not a basher i was just trying to alay some peoples fears that this was a pump and dump

Jason.. I dunno what your major malfunction is...and I don't really care...but re-read my post...I did not insult you. You asked if anyone disgreed with you...I did...posted why...and now your bashing me? I did not quantify all pennies....just the specific one after which this thread is named. You shouldn't pose questions...and ask for opinions....then immediately bash the poster...thats childish. I begin to agree with Dustoff's assessment of you...good call Dustoff!!

If anyone continues to say this was a pump and dump, that person is just crying. Your money is your money, if you missed this train, I feel sorry for you. If you beleive this is a solid and truthful company that will do well in the long run, then GOOD LUCK, only time will tell. If you feel it was a pump and dump, don't cry just get out and enjoy your profits. So let's stop this back and forth bull sxxx. We all play here at our risk, so many stocks and so many message boards which one to trust???? Go with your own gut feeling and own DD (research) it's your money. People make suggestions no one holds a gun to your head and forces you to buy.

Hey guys, knock it off. This is getting severely ridiculous. If anybody wants to go look through the thread, I supposedly "bashed" this stock when I asked if it could maybe be somewhat of a group run, (although it really doesn't need it because it is a strong upcoming company.) This is where it all started. I bought 200,000 shares at .0035. Look where it's at today. I love it. I am long term. I made profit just like you Dustoff101. However, I never bashed, just questioned whether it would hold. That's it! I am happy your going to Hawaii. Have fun, drink one for me. Let's be nice and put some support out there for this board. How about a positive thread tomorrow? A 57% increase rocks my world. PS. Dustoff101, I have learned a lot from school, but already far more real life applications from this board, including you, so drop whatever hard feelings for me you have for some reason. Glenn

I'm planning on getting more, also; still seems like a good position. Dips and sells will come n go, but the bottom line is it's a good company going places...

Stoli I no longer hold 40mil, just 34mil now. I sold 6mil that I had bought at 0.005 back in December. I always had sell points for those 6 mil shares and they were pegged one by one in the run up to 0.009 today.
They were worth more than 0.005
I wish I had't sold even though I did make a hell of a profit - just not near as much as I think I will be able to get for them next month. For those of you who recieved them ... well ... you lucky *******s!
The other 33.8MM shares will be much harder to pry out of my fingers.

Are you serious? Did they acquire the mold technology or not?
Posted by Balder on :
yes, they acquired the molds. He means that the particular pr you saw was put there as a suggestion for a 'look' on an unfinished website. Last night when I looked at it it was the PR about the website. This morning it was the other pr.
It could be a PR about any number of things - they will release the PR's, and choose which ones to release, when they think it is best.
I have been in this for a year now - waiting till Thursday will go by as if it were just the day after tomorrow. Posted by Murnak on :

I would hate to see someone get caught and lose 80% of their portfolio value on this one, but mo players might make it jump again today. It's always possible. Just "get your butt out" before it comes crashing down!

PLNI going again!!!

Plasticon International Continues Tradition of Innovation with Launch of Redesigned Web Site
New Site Features Investor Relations (IR) Section with Real-Time Stock Quotes and Level II Data
LEXINGTON, Ky., May 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI), the technology leader of the recycled plastics sector, today announced the Company has launched its new web site (www.plasticonintl.com). "Our redesigned web site is an important part of our new marketing campaign and it now reflects our position as a cutting-edge force in the plastics industry. We believe that we are now effectively telling our story and getting our message out," said the Company's President and CEO James Turek. "Most people don't understand that recycled plastic plays a critical role in their everyday lives because it's often not apparent to the naked eye. Therefore, it's vital that our marketing efforts educate the public, our shareholders and our customers about new product applications and our vision for the future."
As an example, Mr. Turek cited the high impact visuals and copywriting that the new web site employs to engage and educate its users. "If some one doesn't understand what we do, we can now point them to the web site, and they will immediately understand why our products are 'mission-critical'." The Company's plastic rebar support products, used in concrete, accounts for 80% of the Company's revenue. These products are so durable and dependable that they are used to support some of the most important facilities around the world. Sites supported by Plasticon's products range from sensitive military, government and research facilities such as Los Alamos, Pearl Harbor and Wright Patterson Air Force Base to showcase locations such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Toronto Skydome, Tampa Convention Center, Disney Orlando and Reagan National Airport. (For a complete list of locations, visit www.plasticonintl.com).
The web site also features the company's redesigned logo, new slogan and in-depth information for investors through its revamped Investor Relations section, including real-time stock quotes and level II data. "Our investors deserve the most up to date information about our company, so we decided to invest in our web site," Mr. Turek said. "In today's marketplace, it's the public face of our company."
According to Mr. Turek, the company's new slogan 'Redefining the technology of plastic' gets to the core of the company's mission and positioning within the sector. "We have many different product applications, from rebar supports to office supplies, but the common thread through 17 years in business is that we like to push the envelope. Our competitive advantage has always been our commitment to new technology." As one of the oldest companies in the recycled plastics field, the Company also has a depth of experience with their management team that enables them to continue to be the leading force within their niche.
"This is a very exciting time for us," Mr. Turek said. "We are launching a major marketing effort, starting with the new web site. We also just launched a revolutionary new slab bolster mold product which will allow construction companies to realize tremendous savings and dramatically increase efficiencies. Our web site will be our central forum for alerting our customers and shareholders about these exciting new developments as we continue to grow."

In horse racing terms, when you hit the Trifecta it means you picked the three horses in a field to finish the race first, second, and third. The Green Baron Report has now picked the third horse to go with our Trifecta of stocks, Plasticon International (PLNI). All members are urged to continue to purchase and hold the March Focus Stock ImageXpres (IMJX), the April Focus Stock (CMDA), and now the May Focus Stock Plasticon International. We strongly believe all three of these stocks are going to continue to far outperform nearly all other investment categories, or in other words, all other horses in the field.
The Green Baron Report has never come across three companies in such a short period of time with such a defined revenue and earnings stream combined with such undervalued stock prices as these three companies. We are extremely confident that these stocks are heading much, much higher over the near and long term. We hope our members are happy with the thorough research and stock ideas we have been providing recently.
We expect this type of selectivity to continue, and we encourage members to tell your friends about our unbelievable results. Membership to The Green Baron Report is free and we do not share your email address with anyone. To join, go to www.*************.com.

Plasticon just issued a press release regarding the launch of its innovative website. We encourage all members to visit the site and read the press release below to gain further knowledge about this explosive company on the move. Plasticon is just starting to be noticed, and we believe the stock price has just begun to move higher. Be prepared to be amazed if you aren’t already!
Lexington, Kentucky May 11, 2005 -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets: PLNI), the technology leader of the recycled plastics sector, today announced the Company has launched its new web site (www.plasticonintl.com).
“Our redesigned web site is an important part of our new marketing campaign and it now reflects our position as a cutting-edge force in the plastics industry. We believe that we are now effectively telling our story and getting our message out,” said the Company’s President and CEO James Turek. “Most people don’t understand that recycled plastic plays a critical role in their everyday lives because it’s often not apparent to the naked eye. Therefore, it’s vital that our marketing efforts educate the public, our shareholders and our customers about new product applications and our vision for the future.”
As an example, Mr. Turek cited the high impact visuals and copywriting that the new web site employs to engage and educate its users. “If some one doesn’t understand what we do, we can now point them to the web site, and they will immediately understand why our products are ‘mission-critical’.” The Company’s plastic rebar support products, used in concrete, accounts for 80% of the Company’s revenue. These products are so durable and dependable that they are used to support some of the most important facilities around the world. Sites supported by Plasticon’s products range from sensitive military, government and research facilities such as Los Alamos, Pearl Harbor and Wright Patterson Air Force Base to showcase locations such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Toronto Skydome, Tampa Convention Center, Disney Orlando and Reagan National Airport. (For a complete list of locations, visit www.plasticonintl.com).
The web site also features the company’s redesigned logo, new slogan and in-depth information for investors through its revamped Investor Relations section, including real-time stock quotes and level II data. “Our investors deserve the most up to date information about our company, so we decided to invest in our web site,” Mr. Turek said. “In today’s marketplace, it’s the public face of our company.”
According to Mr. Turek, the company’s new slogan ‘Redefining the technology of plastic’ gets to the core of the company’s mission and positioning within the sector. “We have many different product applications, from rebar supports to office supplies, but the common thread through 17 years in business is that we like to push the envelope. Our competitive advantage has always been our commitment to new technology.” As one of the oldest companies in the recycled plastics field, the Company also has a depth of experience with their management team that enables them to continue to be the leading force within their niche.
“This is a very exciting time for us,” Mr. Turek said. “We are launching a major marketing effort, starting with the new web site. We also just launched a revolutionary new slab bolster mold product which will allow construction companies to realize tremendous savings and dramatically increase efficiencies. Our web site will be our central forum for alerting our customers and shareholders about these exciting new developments as we continue to grow.”

May Focus Stock Update
Plasticon International, Inc. (PK: PLNI)
Green Baron CEO Webcast with PLNI CEO Jim Turek will be Available Tomorrow Morning, Monday May 16
Anyone even thinking about buying PLNI and, of course, all those that currently own the stock will need to listen to our exclusive Green Baron CEO Webcast with Jim Turek. We advise our members to listen very carefully to what Mr. Turek has to say. He has a great deal to say about this company as well as his future plans for PLNI. The numbers will absolutely astound you!
PLNI retraced on Friday morning to the break out price of .0058 and found support. We expect PLNI to hold above .006 and begin another solid move higher. There have been some wild swings in PLNI lately, and we believe strong fundamental news will drive this stock much higher. The Green Baron Report predicts another very strong week for PLNI.

Brand new member adding my 2 cents for PLNI. Been watching the messages here for a couple of weeks. I have owned shares of PLNI for about a year now. VERY happy to see things start to happen with this stock. I FIRMLY believe in this stock for the long term. Don't see how it can do anything but go up. I bought most of my shares around the .0031 to .0033 range. I would love to sell some like the day traders and make a nice short term profit but I'm just afraid it will never see the .003 range again so I guess I'm in it for the long haul. I would love to pick up about a million shares at .003. QUESTION?? Does anyone know when PLNI is going to go to OTCBB? Seems like they have talked about it forever. Just wondered if anyone had anything concrete on that. Thanks

Plasticon International`s New Slab Bolster Mold Represents Quantum Leap in Recycled Plastics Manufacturing Technology
May 16, 2005 12:20:37 (ET)
LEXINGTON, Ky., May 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced it has procured a revolutionary slab bolster mold, which will allow the company to dramatically increase production capacity and create an even more cost-effective production cycle.
"This new technology has the potential to transform our industry, in terms of cost savings, efficiencies, and the ease of use for our end users," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc.
Production capacity of the company's patented Slab Bolster rebar support product with the new mold now increases to 60 feet per shot verses 10 feet for the older generation of molds. This is an explosive increase of 600 percent in production capability and allows for approximately 42,000,000 feet to be produced annually.
"There are three competitive advantages this technology gives our company," Mr. Turek said. "First it gives us the ability to significantly improve output costs. Second, it gives us the ability to radically increase production capacity and productivity as our sales continue to increase. And third, our patented snap lock design eliminates overlapping in the installation of rebar support, so our customers will realize tremendous savings on both labor costs and materials."
In the construction industry, overlapping occurs with conventional support products when they are placed and overlapped as the sections are joined together. Plasticon's new snap lock design results in a 6% to 7% savings in the costs of materials on every application by completely eliminating overlapping. Additionally, overall labor costs are lowered as the conventional process of overlapping and tying the supports together is also eliminated.
Sales from the increased production capabilities of the new mold could top $12,000,000.00, a major portion of which is already under contract. "As we continue to expand our sales efforts, we believe this technology gives us an unmistakable edge over our competition. We are committed to delivering the advantages of our new product to our expanding customer base worldwide. We are also committed to ongoing research and development so that Plasticon International can continue to redefine the technology of plastic." Mr. Turek discussed the new product announcement in a CEO webcast, which can be viewed online at by the general public on The Green Baron Investors Society's website at www.*************.com on Monday, May 16, 2005.
About the Slab Bolster Product
The Slab Bolster product is used to support steel reinforcing bar in concrete structures. This single product replaces all six of the existing support products, including wire, wire tipped, wired pipped, stainless, galvanized, and epoxy coated slab bolsters.
The new Slab Bolster's unique engineering and design features offers many advantages over conventional rebar support products.
Plasticon's Slab Bolster product:
-- Maintains its tolerance even after rebar has been placed on it, thereby eliminating the need to continually adjust the supports to meet engineering design specifications. -- Does not rust. -- Does not absorb water. -- Does not decay with exposure to salt water (chloride ion attack). -- Does not conduct electricity (It is 'non-dielectric').
One of the major advantages to Plasticon's products is they reduce a huge problem in the construction industry: SPAULLING. Spaulling is the phenomenon where concrete tends to crack or break away, which is caused primarily by dielectric support products rusting or decaying. "Conventional support products, which conduct electricity and are known as 'dialectric', are notorious for spaulling problems," Mr. Turek said. "However, our product reduces spaulling because of the way our products are engineered and manufactured."

Plasticon Takes Major Step Forward in Transition from Pink Sheets to OTCBB; President and CEO Jim Turek Announces That Audit of All Company Financials Will Be Completed in 4 Weeks 5/18/2005 12:47:01 PM
LEXINGTON, Ky., May 18, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets - PLNI) today announced that it has come one step closer in the company's transition strategy to move from the Pink Sheets to the OTCBB. An audit of all company financials will be completed in 4 weeks.
This audit is an important milestone in terms of demonstrating to our shareholders and the public that we are serious in our goal of moving the company forward," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. "We are pleased to announce that we are 4 weeks from a completed audit. Upon completion, we will immediately be filing the necessary documents with the SEC to become fully reporting." Plasticon International, Inc., which is the sole owner of a patented line of recycled plastic rebar supports, among other products, has recently expedited its efforts to get back on the OTCBB. "We just feel that the time is right," Mr. Turek said. "We are operating right now from a position of strength. We have a clear technological edge over our competition. Plasticon has little to no debt. Our patents were recently valued at $16 million, and were validated by the federal courts of the United States. We just launched a new marketing campaign which is successfully communicating our story to our customers and investors. We also signed an exclusive distribution contract with the largest building materials distributor in the United States, which gives us a fantastic opportunity to rapidly expand our customer base."

Hi, I came accross this board by accident. I am not serious investor. I own some stock in a pink sheet company of that I am a loyal customer and that is it.
After reading all the posts in this thread, I am wondering what happens to your shares when a company goes from pink sheet to OTCBB? Do you still have the same amount of shares you originally purchased? Do they split? I would think that PLNI's shares would be much higher right now if their move to OTCBB is inevitable. Do current shareholders stand to profit heavily from this? I am just curious. I don't even know if this is information that someone would share with me on the board, but I thought it was worth a shot.
Have a great day!
beth
Posted by sonic0boom on :
Beth, unfortunately, I cannot answer your question. However, do not be afraid to ask such questions ... that's what this board is set up for. I'm sure someone can answer your question, but it may be Monday since everyone should be enjoying their weekend by now Posted by BuyTex on :
curious, the new listing in and of itself has nothing to do with a split. OTCBB is more highly regulated than pinks, with reporting requirments that attach credibility, hence prestige and buyer confidence. A split *is* in play with GTEL, making the next move up, to AMEX, where it will be listed as GTE. AMEX has a $3pps requirement, which GTEL meets via a reverse split. And, yes, some members here have profited greatly from PLNI. Welcome to Allstocks...
Posted by Peaser01 on :
There is no need for a company to do a split in moving from the pinks to the otcbb. The company will merely have to report their earnings/losses and file the necessary paperwork. There probably won't be much, if any, of a change in share price due to the move to otcbb. Just knowing that PLNI will be a reporting company gives all of us shareholders a more peaceful, easy feeling in our stomach's as it takes a little risk away from investing in it.
Hope this helps and welcome.
Posted by <mwm3006> on :
curiousgirl, What he says is true except I do believe there WILL BE a price jump when it moves to OTCBB because you have to call a broker to make a trade for pinks. Once it hits OTCBB you can buy or sell it online without the need for a phone call to a broker. It is then available to all PLUS many people who don't even know a thing about PLNI will then be aware of it. Brings in new people so I would say YES it will go up in price once it hits BB. At least I can say that as a stock holder in PLNI I am waiting and certainly banking on the fact that it will go up!!!! I can easily see PLNI trading at .25 cents a year from now. Of course this is just my opinion and only my opinion but I feel this stock has absolutly no where to go from here but up. They are just too solid.

I dunno about that because I didnt have to call a broker for trading pinks. Did it right online thru Ameritrade and Wachovia. No call needed on pinks. Even with NAUC, that's a pink. No call needed.

mwm3006,
Why is it necessary to resort to nasty name calling? You have persistantly and insistantly declared or implied that only you have facts....the sort of activities and techniques of a troll or clown. Now you claim we are to excuse you for misrepresenting facts. It's ok if you mistook the limitations of Scottrade for more general limits on trading online. We can understand that. But that you can be excused for such a mistake doesn't stretch to lowering the discussion here to meanness and name calling. Please don't confuse this forum with one at yahoo or on AOL, where pettiness is almost a common practice. These are serious traders and investers sharing information, hopefully for the use of all. Name calling only interferes with information.

Yes, it is higher. $7.00 + 1/2 of 1% for pennies
So a $1000 trade costs $12.00 total.

Please Note: The increase in price and volume late last week and the beginning of this week is likely due to CEO Jim Turek's appearances on Money TV, a nationally syndicated television program featuring interviews with CEOs, insights into their operations, and outlooks for their futures (www.moneytv.net). The Green Baron Report did not purchase shares last week and, as usual, we have kept our pending coverage of Plasticon strictly confidential. On Money TV, the CEO indicated that they are "getting ready to make some announcements" and that they "received tremendous exposure (due to the first interview the week before)."
Existing injection molds for each of the 50 SKU's have values of $4-5 million. If you add the potential for Plasticon's exclusive distribution and sales agreement with the second largest seller of rebar in the United States and 63 warehouse distribution points, the numbers get sort of crazy.
In our opinion, last week's activity likely shook out most of the weak holders in this stock, and now PLNI is left with a much stronger shareholder base.
A partnership originally established with Georgia-Pacific's building products distribution unit (now BlueLinx Corp. through an acquisition), provides a major market advantage for Plasticon as well as a competitive marketing position for BlueLinx.
BlueLinx has a multi- year agreement to purchase structural panels, lumber and other building products manufactured by Georgia-Pacific and will be the exclusive distributor for select Georgia-Pacific-branded products.
A unique feature of all Plasticon products is that they are of the highest quality, yet do not require virgin raw material. Using recycled materials significantly reduces the cost of manufacturing, thus Plasticon is considered a "green company". Plasticon's use of environmental waste as raw material in the production of new and innovative products will continue to reduce waste since the new products are themselves, recyclable.
Plasticon's patented products are recognized as the "Cadillac" in the industry and are without serious competition.
Other than CEO Turek's recent short updates on Money TV, there has been very little talk of this publicly traded stock over the past six months.
The structural and cost advantages make these products almost a "no- brainer" when it comes to deciding between the alternatives.

Plasticon Enters Negotiations to Acquire Semco Inc., a Pioneer in Leading-Edge, Environmentally-Friendly Surfacing Products Tuesday May 24, 10:15 am ET President and CEO Jim Turek Says Deal Would Be a `Perfect Synergy'
LEXINGTON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 24, 2005--Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets - PLNI) today announced that it has entered negotiations to acquire Semco, Inc., a Nevada based company that is a pioneer in resurfacing technology. "We are very excited about this potential acquisition," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "If you looked up synergy in the dictionary, this deal should be cited as the example. There are many parallels between Plasticon and Semco. Semco's products are the most technologically advanced surfacing products in the industry. Plasticon has the most technologically advanced recycled plastic products in the construction industry. Their products have been used on government buildings, many hotels in Las Vegas and other large commercial projects, and in residential settings as well. Plasticon's products are used to support many of the most important facilities in North America and around the world. It would be the perfect synergy."
Mr. Turek said that when this deal is signed, he expects Semco's product line to become a major profit center for Plasticon. "This deal would not only be important to Plasticon in terms of the synergy of our products," Mr. Turek said. "It would also have a major impact on our bottom line."
Mr. Turek also cited the fact that Semco Inc. is environmentally-friendly as a major plus for the
potential acquisition. "Any acquisition we make has to fit in with our corporate mission and our manufacturing process and principles. As a leader in environmentally-friendly manufacturing, it's important for us to maintain that status as we continue to grow the company. Like Plasticon, Semco, Inc. has been a proven leader in their sector and has maintained an environmentally-friendly manufacturing process."
Semco, Inc.'s water based resurfacing products, which cross link chemically to the material they are being bonded to, are used on similar applications as Plasticon's products, such as bridges and other critical infrastructure projects. "Plasticon's rebar support products are used as a more durable, dependable, cost-effective alternative to steel in the reinforcing of concrete," Mr. Turek said. "They are used not just on buildings, but on other critical infrastructure such as bridges and roads. Semco's products reinforce the density of the surface they are being bonded to, which in this example would lead to maximum concrete durability. There would be many immediate applications where our products would work perfectly together, and as we expand our product base there would be many applications down the road as well."

PLNI stock sours yesterday Monday, May 23… Green Baron Members are treated to 83% move up in one day and 213% in less than two weeks since our profile price on May 10
The Green Baron Report is so hot that even our biggest critics are beginning to take notice. Several months ago we decided it was vital that we spend more time than ever to carefully choose stocks that would likely AMAZE our members, and leave no doubt. Our selectivity is paying off now in absolutely HUGE returns. The crazy thing is, our March Stock Pick ImageXpres (IMJX), our April Stock Pick China Media 1 (CMDA), and our May Stock Pick Plasticon Intl. (PLNI) have just begun to move higher in our opinion, and we are working overtime to bring you more data to support our belief.
NOTE: Please review our updates on IMJX and CMDA following PLNI below as well as the timing for new webcasts this week!
PLNI finally broke out well over .01 per share yesterday morning on huge volume as we have been predicting would soon happen. Congratulations to all members that are riding a huge wave of profits in Plasticon. The news this morning further supports the higher stock price, and we strongly suggest all members to further investigate those ramifications of today’s press release.
The Green Baron Report believes Plasticon will soon close its acquisition of Semco, Inc. Among other beneficial uses, the resurfacing technology that Semco has pioneered can add several years of usable life to massive projects such as bridges and roads. Once again, Plasticon is building a synergistic business that will generate staggering growth to revenues and earnings for years to come. We believe our members will be shocked by the potential of this additional business. It does not surprise us at The Green Baron Report that investors are finally taking notice of this former sleeper stock.

Plasticon Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Semco Inc., A Pioneer in Leading-edge Surfacing Products President and CEO Jim Turek expects Semco Products to be 'Major Profit Center' 5/25/2005 11:05:06 AM
LEXINGTON, Ky., May 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Semco, Inc., a Nevada based company that is a pioneer in leading edge resurfacing technology. Pending the completion of due diligence, an acquisition date will be set. The acquisition gives Plasticon a major advantage over its competition because Semco, Inc., which has been profitable for years, is seen as the new industry standard in resurfacing by distributors and construction companies.
"This deal is important to Plasticon not only in terms of the synergy of our products," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. "It would also have a major impact on our bottom line. Distribution centers are very interested in carrying these products. Since we just signed an exclusive contract with the largest building materials distribution company in the U.S., this acquisition would give Plasticon another innovative product line which will expand our overall market share in the construction industry. We see Semco's product line becoming a major profit center for Plasticon."
Mr. Turek also mentioned that convenience for his company's customer base was a key factor. "This acquisition makes a lot of sense because we are offering our customers one source to go to for the most innovative construction products in the marketplace. Additionally, this deal made sense to Semco, because our distribution contracts are so attractive. It was a win-win scenario."
One of the major applications for Semco's products is the resurfacing work on bridges. Semco, Inc.'s water based resurfacing products, which cross link chemically to the material they are being bonded to, reinforces the density of the surface. In the case of bridges, their waterproof products maximize the strength of concrete and prolong the life of the structure. Concrete durability is a major issue in the construction industry. Corrosion damage to concrete costs the U.S. billions of dollars annually.
"Corrosion damage is best addressed during the initial construction process, not as a band-aid," Mr. Turek said. "Plasticon's products and Semco's products solve the problem up front. With the signing of the new transportation bill, we believe that there will be a major increase in bridge and road construction work. Plasticon's recycled plastic products, which are the most cutting-edge in the industry, have been the preferred products of construction companies for quite some time. And now we can offer Semco's products to our customers as well, which compliments our product line perfectly."

we aren't 'tanking'.
lets remember that we have recently had a 500% run in this stock. The initial portion of that run was started here on allstocks when FatherOfTwo posted his charting analysis. Then we had the GreenBaron people jump in. Most of these initial people who jumped in are day traders - people who normally do not go long in a stock and don't trade on valuation but rather buzz and hype.
Those people are always looking for an exit - after all there are profits to take.
IMO the real rise in pps will come when the audit is released. I am expecting 0.02 - 0.03 from that event, and then even higher as we move to the otcbb.
Also, please remember there are real sharks out there who will try to drive down a price just so they can accumulate at less than true value. Its how they make their rent - day in and day out.

Plasticon Announces That Semco Acquisition Will Be Privately Financed Cash Transaction; Plasticon Stock Will Not Be Diluted as a Result of Transaction
May 27, 2005 10:35:01 (ET)
Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets - PLNI) today announced that the acquisition of Semco, Inc. will be a privately financed cash transaction. Private financing has been arranged due to the profitability of Semco.
"There will be no dilution of Plasticon's stock as a result of this transaction," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "This acquisition will add tremendous value to Plasticon. Semco's ground-breaking products literally have no competition in the marketplace. Our current distributor is the largest building materials distribution company in the nation. Should our distributor agree to distribute Semco's product line, the impact on our sales would be absolutely staggering. Their surfacing products are unique and they fill an extremely important and profitable niche. They have the only product on the market which truly prevents water damage. This problem has plagued the construction industry and cost the U.S. billions of dollars annually. Semco's products completely waterproof the structure they are bonding to."
Semco's products are able to waterproof the structure they adhere to because of the advanced technology behind their product line.

I don't expect any pullback now!
The advantages of PLNI's products are numerous in both residential, commercial, and infrastructure usage.
The benefits of their products for highways and bridges are phenomenal. Many of our highways and bridges (see USA Today article May 27 )are in need of immediate repair. Some large states will be spending big dollars to repair their interstates and retrofit their bridges. Imagine if PLNI's products were used on the current retrofit of the Golden Gate Bridge. There are stories throughout this country of bridges, skywalks, and other similar arteries collapsing. The collapses were do to deteriorated re-bar. One such example if the pedestrian walkway from the Charlotte Motor Speedway over a major Interstate highway, the walkway collapsed because of deteriorated re- bar. PLNI products would have prevented such an accident.
PLNI products are adaptable to commercial use. We know of all the new high rise construction going on around the country, condos in Las Vegas to Miami, office buildings in Chicago, Boston, and New York. On a simpler level, look at the number of professional sports complexes that are being asked to be built. The owners of the NFL New Orleans Saints is asking for a new superdome or he will move the team. This is a lot of re-bar to be used!
PLNI products can also be used in residential construction of single family homes. What will PLNI's products mean to the mold problem?
And now with the acquisition of SEMCO and their products that can be applied to residential, commercial, and infrastructure, the PLNI growth potential is huge.
Everyone should use sound investing practices/research/techniques. The revenue growth for PLNI is strong. It is up to Mr. Tureck and company to produce the product, get it into warehouses and sell to the end users- developers, construction companies, and local, state, and federal governments.
PLNI is entering a fantastic period in its company growth. The product development and product lines are there. With increased institutional investors and PLNI products being represented at building, construction, and trade expos, the growth is unlimited. These products will be used worldwide. Construction is booming in Asia, South and Latin America.
This stock is interesting, and growth ready.

Plasticon Announces That Semco Acquisition Will be Privately Financed Cash Transaction Friday May 27, 10:35 am ET Plasticon Stock Will Not be Diluted as a Result of Transaction
LEXINGTON, Ky., May 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Other OTC:PLNI.PK - News) today announced that the acquisition of Semco, Inc. will be a privately financed cash transaction. Private financing has been arranged due to the profitability of Semco. ADVERTISEMENT
``There will be no dilution of Plasticon's stock as a result of this transaction,'' said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. ``This acquisition will add tremendous value to Plasticon. Semco's products completely waterproof the structure they are bonding to.''
Semco's products are able to waterproof the structure they adhere to because of the advanced technology behind their product line. Their products chemically link and bond with the surface they are applied to, which makes them essential to construction companies and distributors.
``Not only are their products unique,'' Mr. Turek said, ``they also perfectly compliment our recycled plastic rebar support products. This would be product synergy at its best. A perfect example of this would be the application to bridge construction, which is a huge segment of construction industry. A very high percentage of bridges are plagued with water damage problems, and that's why companies increasingly have turned to Plasticon's rebar support products. Now we have the opportunity to sell Semco's concrete coating products to those same customers, which adds a critical layer of waterproofing protection.''
Semco's products add years to the life of the structure by eliminating the absorption of water into concrete. Until now, water damage has corroded the metal rebar support which has been used in bridge construction in the past. Water damage costs the U.S. billions of dollars annually. ``The combination of Plasticon's rebar supports, which are impervious to water because they are made from recycled plastic, and Semco's surfacing products, which completely waterproof the structure they are bonded to, is unprecedented in our sector,'' Mr. Turek said. ``These two products, offered together, are the next killer application for the construction industry.''
On May 31st, Mr. Turek will be featured on a webcast at http://www.*************.com to discuss the acquisition and other recent developments at Plasticon International. For more information about Plasticon International, please visit http://www.plasticonintl.com.

Green Baron Update!
May Focus Stock Update
Plasticon International (PK: PLNI)
PR Released at 10:35 am EST on Friday, May 27: Plasticon Announces That Semco Acquisition Will Be Privately Financed Cash Transaction; Plasticon Stock Will Not Be Diluted as a Result of Transaction
New Green Baron Webcast with CEO Jim Turek on Tuesday, May 31
Plasticon stock settled down for a short period after a phenomenal run early last week. Late Thursday, PLNI dropped back down to the low .01 range after hitting nearly .02 on Monday. There was some concern that Plasticon was going to use the recent strength in its stock price to buffer a bid for another company. In a press release announced on Friday morning, these concerns were laid to rest as the Company spoke openly and clearly about its intentions as well as about the phenomenal opportunity it has before itself.
Following the press release, PLNI rallied strongly back up to close the week at .0152 per share. The Green Baron Report is thrilled about the potential of this new business that should soon be merged into Plasticon. Once the deal is consummated, we will crunch some new numbers and show our members the outstanding potential that lies in the near future. We believe Plasticon is a force to reckon with, and the stock is just starting to be noticed.

Plasticon Announces Major Contract with R&S Manufacturing, One of the Largest Manufacturers and Suppliers of Concrete Post-Tension Construction Cable in the U.S. Wednesday June 1, 11:20 am ET Contract with R&S Manufacturing Mirrors Industry Shift from Metal Rebar Support to Plastic Rebar Support
LEXINGTON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2005-- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets - PLNI) today announced that the company has signed a major contract to supply R&S Manufacturing with nearly a half million dollars of recycled plastic rebar supports. Plasticon's patented rebar supports will be supplied to R&S's customers with their post-tension cable products.
"We are thrilled about this contract with R&S," said Mr. Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "But more importantly, we are very excited about establishing and growing the relationship with R&S Manufacturing. We believe that this deal, combined with our existing contract with the largest distributor of building materials in the U.S., will give Plasticon the ability to dominate our sector. Not only do we have an edge with product development and technology, we also have a definitive edge in terms of our distribution relationships and our partnerships with companies such as R&S."
R&S Manufacturing, which has been in business for over 20 years, is one of the leading post tension cabling suppliers in the United States. Post tensioning, which is used in slab construction, is a method of strengthening and reinforcing concrete using steel cables. "R&S's products and Plasticon's products will work together seamlessly, and will provide construction companies with the best in breed solution for strengthening concrete," Mr. Turek said.
Additionally, R&S Manufacturing has indicated an interest in supplying their clients with Semco, Inc.'s line of surfacing products, which reinforce and completely waterproof concrete. Plasticon recently signed a letter of intent to acquire Semco in a privately financed cash transaction. "Of course we are very encouraged to see that our new clients and partners are so interested in Semco's surfacing products. We are seeing the potential importance of that acquisition on the street level every day."
Mr. Turek also noted that as an industry trend, it's significant to see companies like R&S Manufacturing moving towards recycled plastic rebar supports. "Of course, R&S manufactures and supplies steel cable. But it's notable that for rebar supports they are now shifting to recycled plastic supports which provide construction companies with a more durable, dependable, cost-effective solution. R&S Manufacturing, as one of the oldest, most trusted names in post tensioning cable sector, will have a major impact in our industry in terms of the acceptance of recycled plastic rebar supports as the industry standard."

FROM DB post PLNI board! millionaireINtheMaking wrote: I just got off the phone with Bill Howe and I asked him a few of the questions that have been asked on this board. I will try to be as detailed as possible about his answers, but we spoke for about 10 minutes and I can't really convey everything in a single post.
First, he said the contract with R&S is bigger than it sounds. R&S is highly regarded in the industry and they supply many smaller companies, which not only gives credibilty to Plasticon, it also will bring in sales. He mentioned something about R&S manufacturing their own stuff, which led to my next question:
Does Plasticon manufacture their own products in house? No, it is currently contracted out and they are in the process of doing it in house. They are looking at two facilities right now (they will choose one) to move into to begin their own manufacturing. He said the facility will be state of the art and will be more cost effective utilizing their new molds (http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/050516/78223.html). I asked him when they planned to do this and his response was "yesterday." In other words, they are working to do it as soon as possible.
He said right now they employ 10 people in their administrative office and 40-50 (sub)contractors who do the production.
I also asked about the Micro-Cap summit in New York and if they were invited or if they applied to be a presenter and he told me they were invited to present. Of course, they are excited about this opportunity. I asked if they would be fully reporting before the summit and he said they can't promise a date to be fully reporting because there are a lot of things beyond their control with the SEC. Went to ask a follow up question and he stopped me and said he wanted to be clear that right now it is the number one priority of Plasticon to be a fully reporting company. They are doing everything they possibly can to finish as soon as possible. The lawyers have been in contact with the SEC getting guidance and counsel to speed the process up. He said the paperwork is already prepared and they are not strangers to the SEC so hopefully, they (the SEC) will approve their application quickly once the audit is complete.
Finally, I asked if the audit would be finished by June 15th for the summit and he said they are doing everything they can to make sure it is. Obviously, it would be best if the audit is finished before their presentation and they are staying on the auditors everyday to make sure it is ready.
He said the next PR would be announcing that they were invited to present at the micro-cap summit, so I think we have until the 15th or maybe a little earlier before we get some good PR. He also said a PR would be released as soon as the audit is complete with the results

Plasticon Announces That They Will be One of Six Presenting Companies at the Wall Street Reporter`s Microcap 5 Investors Summit Conference
June 02, 2005 11:50:16 (ET)
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that the company will be presenting at the Wall Street Reporter's Microcap 5 Investors Summit conference.
The conference, which takes place in New York City on June 15th, will feature 6 CEOs who will present to a distinguished panel for 15 minutes each. The CEOs will then be grilled by the panel regarding their presentations and their company's fundamentals. "I certainly relish the opportunity to tell our story and make our case to some of the most sophisticated investment minds in the country," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. "Presenting at this conference is an important step for Plasticon and gives us exposure to a very influential segment of the investment community."
Mr. Turek noted that there are five main points he would like to demonstrate to the panel and conference attendees. "First, Plasticon has superior technology and I would like to relate that to some of our recent product announcements, which put us light years ahead of the competition. Secondly, we have the distribution and partnership relationships in place to become the dominant force in the recycled plastic sector. Third, our management team is seasoned and has the international experience to steer our company to become the top recycled plastics company in the industry. Fourth, we are in the process of making a privately financed acquisition that is crucial to the strategic positioning of the company. And finally, we have launched a new marketing and PR campaign, which is effectively telling our story to our shareholders, customers, and to the general public. We believe that we have a compelling story and serious investors should consider taking a position with our company."
As a final note, Mr. Turek mentioned that he will also be discussing Plasticon's upcoming transition from the Pink Sheets to OTCBB. "Our transition strategy is a very important issue for institutional investors, investment banking firms and high net worth investors," Mr. Turek said. "A full company audit will be completed in weeks, and that is a significant step toward becoming fully reporting, transitioning to the OTCBB and eventually becoming a big board stock. There are many positive developments with Plasticon International to report, and I'm looking forward to presenting at this important forum."

Plasticon Announces Engineering Breakthrough Which Reduces Material Costs of Lower Height Rebar Supports by over 20%; Innovative New Blend of Polypropylene Lowers Output Costs and Increases Plasticon's Competitive Advantage via COMTEX
June 7, 2005
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that the company has created a new blend of polypropylene, which reduces the material costs of one of the company's major product lines: lower height recycled plastic rebar supports.
"Cost-effectiveness is one of our key advantages over our competitors," said Mr. Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "We offer the most innovative, durable, dependable rebar support products to our customers at an incredible price point. Our reengineered polypropylene blend allows us to continue to offer those advantages to our customers and to realize greater profits as well."
The new polypropylene blend is one of a series of recently unveiled Plasticon innovations. The company announced several weeks ago that they had procured a revolutionary slab bolster mold, which increases production capacity by 600 percent, a quantum leap in recycled plastic manufacturing technology. "We certainly take pride in the fact that we continue to be the technology leader in our industry. That has and always will be our positioning within our sector," Mr. Turek said. "Our new polypropylene blend gives us a tremendous advantage, widens the gap even more between Plasticon and its competitors, and puts us light years ahead of the competition in terms of our production efficiencies."

Hard to find the current tread!
All hell breaking loose this week!
The company's sales and distribution activities are managed from its Kentucky and Florida locations. The company's Rebar supports are manufactured at a custom molding company in St. Louis, Missouri. The company produces plastic lumber and signage products on a contract basis according to the order's precise specifications fabricated at the Illinois facility.
Plasticon International has succeeded in establishing itself as one of the oldest companies in the emerging and expanding recycled plastics business. Now the company needs to build on its successful history and move to the next level by developing an aggressive marketing program. This program includes increasing inventory, additional working capital to support increasing sales, expanding our marketing initiative, and acquiring additional manufacturing equipment and distribution outlets. This new financing would help secure an increase in sales, resulting from an increase in working capital, dramatically improving the net income. Since net loss carry forwards are available, this increase in income could be reinvested in the company and/or reduce debt as appropriate.

murnak, i was on a job this week where plastic lumber was delivered and tried to discern where it came from, manufacturer, etc, but had about 20 seconds to look at it. You--or anybody else--got any ideas to result in Plasticon LABELING their products so clearly that even construction guys start noticing? Here's why I'm asking: traditionally, on job sites, we've been griping about the wildly irregular quality control in lumber for at least 25 years...as these "precise" products land on jobsites, a BRAND that says PLNI or similar will eventually burble through blue-collar consciousness to their managers then owners, who can afford to trade. see what i'm saying?

Yes...I attended and spoke with Jim Turek and Bill Howe for about an hour after their presentation. I have a lot to digest, it's all positive. The numbers won't be out for a few weeks. The auditor working on the numbers got married (which he is allowed to do) and went on a three week honeymoon to the Philipines but neglected to inform Jim Turek that the numbers would not be ready prior to his departure. JIm is very angry and looking for a firm to pick up the project ASAP and have the numbers out in a few weeks. That was the only negative.
I plan to review a lot of materials, speak to Bill Howe again on Friday and then post some information for all to review by the weekend.
It looks like we have a real winner here. We need to be patient and properly manage our expectations.
The company is profitable. It will be incrementally more profitable with the acquisition of SEMCO. I want to use the numbers I have and try to lay out some reasonable expectations for us over the next 12-18 months.

Plasticon Announces Company is Profitable as of Second Quarter 2005; Review of Financials for first and second quarter 2005 show Plasticon to be on a positive cash flow basis via COMTEX
June 17, 2005
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that a review of the financials for the first and second quarter of 2005 demonstrate that Plasticon has achieved profitability as of the end of the second quarter of 2005.
"Our momentum has been incredible over the last few months," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. "As the technology leader of the recycled plastics sector, we developed several major innovations which led to substantial cost savings and leaps in productivity. We announced our exclusive contract with the largest building materials distribution company in the U.S., which makes us the largest supplier of rebar supports in the country. We also built some very important partnerships, which will allow us to continue to aggressively grow the company. All of these developments contributed to our profitability. So we are thrilled to announce that Plasticon International is profitable as of the second quarter of 2005."
Mr. Turek said that the company's top priority right now is to have the company audit completed by the end of July. "I am confident that we can meet this deadline. This is a very important step for us. Once the audit is completed we will immediately file the necessary documents with the SEC, in order to move Plasticon to the OTCBB. We expect this to be accomplished in the next 30 to 90 days. "
Mr. Turek emphasized that there will be many exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months, and noted that investors and shareholders should visit www.plasticonintl.com frequently for updates. "We approach communications with our shareholders and the public very seriously and we feel that it's very important to bring openness and integrity to the process. For news about our company, we urge investors to rely on trusted sites only. It has come to my attention that there is a lot of misinformation being bandied about on the internet regarding PLNI. If you are an existing shareholder or are considering buying stock in Plasticon, please consider very carefully the source of information you use to make your investment decisions. I urge all investors to make their decisions based on sound fundamental information and not on rumor, conjecture, or innuendo. It's unfortunate that there is so much incorrect information on the internet, but again we would caution investors to only rely on trusted sites and other offline sources for investment information."
Strong fundamentals for Plasticon International give Mr. Turek a very optimistic outlook as the company moves forward. "We are certainly in a very promising period of growth right now," Mr. Turek said. "The company is on very solid footing and is positioned for tremendous growth. PLNI offers serious investors strong fundamentals, superior patented products, an unprecedented distribution network in our sector, low overhead and positive earnings. We are grateful for the support of our existing shareholders and welcome those of you who are new owners of the Company," Mr. Turek said.

I know people won't like what I'm about to say. I and two of my friends are in this one big time and not gettting out anytime soon. Great expectations and future. Our goal is at least .05.
However most of us expected the PR News with the Audit Results, now we have to wait until end of July and if we get no major contracts or an awesome PR such as retiring shares. The logical and most common thing is this stock will drop slowly maybe back to .0075 or .008.
I will not sell my current shares because that one day I sale it may release the news we all are waiting for and then I loose big time. However I will most likely buy more.
If some of you feel I am putting this stock down you are wrong I'm just stating the facts and what I believe most likely will happen. Once again that's my opinion.
I did say the price was going to drop this week and it did, I did say great opportunity to buy more. I was also the one that said this can climb to .03-.05 but that's with the audit report, which it will come eventually.
Good Luck to all..
Relax this will be a great company come Fall season when most stocks rise.

Look at them, the PPS could run up quickly with just a million in volume. I think its on another thread in the under .01 cents forum. I think it has big potential. I am going put my order in today for 500,000 shares. This is going nowhere but up, i think even someone in there said with the rite volume, this thing could fly to $1.00

Green Baron, May Focus Stock Update
Plasticon Intl. Inc. (PK: PLNI)
Friday, June 17 News Alert: Plasticon Announces Company is Profitable as of Second Quarter 2005; Review of Financials for first and second quarter 2005 show Plasticon to be on a positive cash flow basis
Last week on June 15, Plasticon CEO Jim Turek presented at the Microcap Investors Summit, a half day event offering fund managers and analysts the chance to discover new investment opportunities in the microcap marketplace. The Company believes it was successful in delivering its growth story to these investment professionals, and that interest developed from the summit appears to be very strong.
The press release issued Friday demonstrates that Plasticon is now operating in the black. The Green Baron Report believes this achievement is just the beginning of major earnings results for the future. The Company also addressed the issue of its audit. We understand that the audit will likely be completed much sooner that the end of July, but the Company did not want to miss another internal deadline.
Some investors have been alarmed over the possibility of a reverse split since the question was addressed at the conference. Through our close communication with Plasticon representatives, we understand a more detailed explanation about the possibility of a split will likely be addressed on Monday, June 20. Thus far, our understanding is that a reverse split would not occur, if at all, until after the stock retains a Bulletin Board listing and likely at much higher prices. We will comment following any press release by Plasticon.

OK guy's here's the real deal. Traveled to NC this weekend, and happen to see some bridge work going on in PA, VA, and NC. Stopped at the site's to take a look at the rebar that was beig placed, and it was a plastic rebar installed in the reatainer, or barrier walls, with blue linx distribution tag.. The manufacturer wasn't stated, but my guess was plasticon manufactured rebar. So, what do you think about that. I liked it, although my wife thought I was crazy, because I got excited.

Thanks Tex: I'm a builder and never heard of plastic rebar. Suppose its possible but the process would probably make it too expensive. It would need to alloy with something. All the speculation has been interesting though. Don't underestimate the construction products though. The saving in time on large projects where rods are used extensively world wide makes this a natural to grow this company. To many people just want to see huge spurts but real companys take time to grow. There are plenty of momentum plays around.

Based on Potential Sales and Earnings, Plasticon Expects Number of Shares Issued and Outstanding Will be in Line With Projected Growth, Therefore Eliminating the Need for Reverse Split
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that there are no plans for a reverse stock split based on projected sales and earnings. "A reverse stock split is absolutely off the table," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International, Inc. Mr. Turek added that should it be necessary to reduce the number of issued and outstanding shares, management is committed to both retiring its own personal shares and the company is committed to buying back shares as well.
"Our sales and earnings potential is the key driver for our company, and we expect an adequate number of shares as we move forward," Mr. Turek said. "The market potential for our three main product lines - rebar supports, transportation signage, and plastic lumber - is so enormous that a reverse stock split is not required. Rebar supports is a $25 billion per year industry. Transportation signage is a $20 billion industry in the U.S. alone. And plastic lumber sales, which have been rising at a rate of 40% per year, are increasingly gaining market share. We are strategically positioned to become the dominant force and to profit from our product innovations as recycled plastic continues to gain acceptance as the industry standard material for these applications. Increased government regulation, the skyrocketing price of steel, and Plasticon's cost-effective, superior products all combine to position Plasticon for continued profitability."
Plasticon International recently announced that as of the second quarter of 2005, the company is profitable. "This is really a thrilling time for us because the world is catching up to our vision. The assumption now is that companies should be environmentally friendly. We've proven that not only is it the right thing to do, it's the profitable thing to do. We look forward to continuing to provide value to our customers, the public and our shareholders."
Mr. Turek emphasized that after years of laying the foundation of the company, through research and development, product innovations, patent approvals, and applying for and receiving DOT acceptance in all 50 states, Plasticon is now reaping the fruits of its labor. "I believe that the most important trait in business is persistence. With the help of our dedicated, distinguished management team, we built a great base and now we are ready to move into the next phase, which is our aggressive sales and marketing rollout. We are just beginning to see the impact of our exclusive contract with the largest building materials distribution company in the U.S. That contract now makes us the largest supplier of rebar supports in the country. We are also ramping up our global sales and marketing efforts and we certainly expect exponential growth with our major product lines in the near future."

Whats not to like!
Green Baron High lighted! "The added commentary from CEO Jim Turek should send PLNI to new highs since our profile last month. He understands and supports the need for a reduction in shares outstanding, and is one of the few CEOs in the world that is actually willing to retire his own personal shares for the good of the overall company and its shareholders. He also is interested in share buybacks as well, which would be a great idea since sales and earnings appear to be on the brink of an explosion."
Posted by net10708 on :
The main point to PLNI is the key phrase "cost effective". That's the big play. Big construction companies will eat up this product.
Well run, PLNI is a rocket waiting to launch.

Its not just the cost savings and overall quality they are saving but look at the 6-7% overlayment that they are saving and MORE IMPORTANTLY the man hours on labor. This is a no brainer, the company just didnt have the money and production capabilitys and now they have both. Plasticon Announces That Privately Financed Semco Acquisition is Near Completion via COMTEX
June 29, 2005
10 Potential Exclusive Regional Licensees Already Lined Up to Distribute Semco's Product Line
LEXINGTON, Ky., Jun 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) --
Plasticon International Inc. (Pink Sheets:PLNI) today announced that the privately financed acquisition of Semco, Inc. is in its final stages and is near completion.
"This is a very important week in the history of Plasticon International," said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. "This acquisition will add tremendous value to Plasticon, not only in terms of our product synergies but in terms of the direct impact on our bottom line. Our accountants and lawyers are currently taking the final steps to complete the acquisition. We anticipate that the due diligence process will be completed by this Friday. Closing will take place immediately upon completion of Semco's audit, which is imminent."
According to Mr. Turek, there has been exceptionally strong interest in Semco's products among suppliers and distributors in the industry. Semco's revolutionary surfacing technology provides the only products on the market today that completely waterproof the structures they are bonding to. "Since our announcement about the letter of intent to acquire Semco, we have been inundated with phone calls and inquiries about Semco's product line," Mr. Turek said. "In fact, we already have ten potential regional licensees lined up to distribute Semco's product line. The reason for this is simple: Semco's products are both essential and unique. They have the only product on the market which truly prevents water damage. This problem has always plagued the construction industry and costs the U.S. billions of dollars annually."
Like Plasticon International, Semco, Inc. has a deep commitment to being on the cutting edge of technology in their sector. Semco's products, which represent a significant technological advance in the industry, completely waterproof the structure they are bonding to. "Semco's products are able to waterproof the structure they adhere to because of the advanced technology behind their product line. Their products chemically link and bond with the surface they are applied to, which makes them essential to construction companies and distributors. Not only are their products unique," Mr. Turek said, "they also perfectly compliment our recycled plastic rebar support products. This is product synergy at its best. A perfect example of this would be the application to bridge construction, which is a huge segment of the construction industry. A very high percentage of bridges are plagued with water damage problems, and that's why companies increasingly have turned to Plasticon's rebar support products. Now we have the opportunity to sell Semco's concrete coating products to those same customers, which adds a critical layer of waterproofing protection."
Semco's products add years to the life of the structure by eliminating the absorption of water into concrete. Until now, water damage has corroded the metal rebar support which has been used in bridge construction in the past. "The combination of Plasticon's rebar supports, which are impervious to water because they are made from recycled plastic, and Semco's surfacing products, which completely waterproof the structure they are bonded to, is unprecedented in our sector," Mr. Turek said. "These two products, offered together, are the next killer application for the construction industry."
Plasticon International (www.plasticonintl.com) designs, produces, and distributes high-quality concrete accessories, transportation signage, plastic lumber, and office supplies which are all produced from recycled and recyclable plastics. Plasticon is a leader, an innovator of cutting edge design, engineering, and production of industrial and commercial products. Plasticon is a green Company, environmentally-friendly, using recycled plastics to produce its line of products.

Wicklund Holding Company Announces Discussions to Obtain Exclusive Rights to Plastic Rebar
LEXINGTON, Ky., Sept. 16, 2004/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wicklund Holding Company (Pink Sheets: WKDH) announced today that it has initiated discussions with the inventor and patent holders of a plastic rebar product with the objective of obtaining exclusive rights to that product. The company believes that this new plastic rebar could completely replace traditional steel rebar. The innovative plastic rebar has many advantages over steel rebar, which is commonly used in the construction of almost every structure, including its light weight, reduced cost and the ability of the hollow product to carry fluids, glass or fiber optics, wires, etc. Since the product is co-extruded, any defamation can be applied during the manufacturing process. "This revolutionary new product addresses a vast potential marketplace with a product that we believe to be superior, offering numerous benefits to the user, not the least of which is a direct and significant cost savings," said James Turek, president of Wicklund Holding Company. i saw tillco to it is a whole different ball game remember plni makes it product out of recycles and is a us government ceritfied green company and nobody eles can say that in this business an other business tried to duplicate plni product and had them selves sued to pices by plni. in other words on all federal projects all contractor will be given incentives to use plni products and incouraged to do so.
Posted by George on :
but why would he say there are NO plastic rebar when there is? as shown by the tillco link.
Posted by lilhen2005 on :
I posted the fact that there was plastic rebar earlier, and was ripped to shreds. The fact is plni is a green company, and use of there products does come with perks, in the form of tax breaks, so imo, contractors would favor there rebar supports compared to a fiber glass plastic rebar.

well george i would think there is a reason that they say that i don't have an explination for that i will have to reshearch that

George, fiberglass and plastic are two different aniamls. Its like comparing steel to aluminum. Two different uses and two different applications and long term effects. Does tillco have 50 state, federal approval?? with thier product in hundreds of high profile buildings??? NOPE....save your troubles and buy PLNI and put it away for a year or so then come back and check on it. GL

There is no plastic rebar. That was a missunderstanding from some time ago when there was talk of experiments in rebar. Most people here don't know much about building so it sounded feasable. Their own (plni) advertisement on their website shows what they do sell.
fyi the reason their products are important and spell a great future for this company is because they are cost effective, and they solve one of the most difficult problems in the field of construction. All steel rebar, the support structure in concrete must be tied off. That is, secured in position with some type of material.
When concrete is poured in the forms it would displace the rebar and compromise the support structure. So to hold the bar in place away from each other and the forms it must be tied off. This is a time consuming process requiring rolls of soft wire, and various types of wire formed differently for each application, say for a ten inch beam or column or a sixteen inch and all those in between.
These wire pieces eventually actually cause a deterioration of the steel where they are fastened through the, to put it simply, electrical reaction between dissimular metals. This action causes corrosion and cracking in the concrete which is distructive.
Plni's products effectively end this and that is the basic reason for their bright future.
Sorry for boring those of you who already know this stuff, but there seem to be a lot of people who think that the volume of rebar (plastic) is the key and it's just not true. The world wide need for these products is the ke, along with an intelligent business plan. Lets hope they have it.

For those who dont know this little tidbit of info::: GP(Bluelinx) AND R&S came knocking on Plasticons door, PLNI did not solicit them. In todays business world when you have a niche product and people calling you instead of the other way around you have made your mark! Sit back and relax cause its only going up, yes it may dip before it bumps but in the long term you will Never see these prices again. IMHO of course

Hi Clydeo, I had forgotten this thread was running and I posted the following on another PLNI topic last night that was more recent. (easier to find) I guess we should keep this one running since it has all the history on it. Thanks.
I have been buying every share of PLNI I can get. It really should take off within the next month. I have also been doing the same with CPTCQ. It has been on a nice run for the past few weeks. I am holding on to both of these for the long run.
