So to extrapolate...that would mean the ESA and Chinese Space programs are also a joke. China had a hitch hiker satellite on that rocket. And many of the parts were made by the ESA. GO USA!!!! Right? [Big Grin]

actually Pagan, when i looked i found that the Russians have had a couple of sucessful shots since the last failure in Aug, so it's one of those situations where i had heard all the bad news (cuz that's the only stuff that gets attention) and none of the good news.
I am not happy that we have dumped our space program, oh wait that's not exactly true either, but you know what i mean....

You seem to overlook at the GLARING fact that every Russian Mars shot has failed. Why is that? Just curious.

you are correct, i have completely missed that... i was just remebering the one to the space station that crashed.

maybe the mars shots all fail because they are hiding something? it does seem plausible that Mars was earthlike in relatively (universal) recent history and they don't want us to know we had to flee mars after we ruined it too? [Smile] (sorry my tinfoil hat must have a pinhole in it today )
