It took many many months but the United states government is looking at turning Ameritrades records inside out . Implimenting huge fines and enforcing the correction to the few remaining clients who's accounts were wrongfully shorted back in june/ july of 2006 . The wrongfull shorting took place as an Ameritrde employee traded through orders that were restricted for trading . Brokers handel all trades for their clients and so it is upto them to abide by and take responsibility for untimely trades . The laws are not designed to protect Ameritrade from this . People have waited a long time for justice on the " Ameritrade wrongfull shorting of paim shares " and justice will come . It is not upto Ameritrade and what they want ..... It is what the Govenment says must be done to correct these remaining clients accounts . Contact the S.E.C. for further information .

Something is already coming from it . My cousins account has just been corrected by Ameritrade . They put a rather large amount of cash in his account but he also wants an amount for not having use of those funds to trade with all these months .
