Hi,

Well the subject line says it all... I would like to know how do you set the parameters on your screeners to set an alert?

The volume... 20% the daily average, 30% or more?

What about the PPS and all the rest, including the Technical Analysis.

What values and changes in the parameters do you set for an alert?

Thanks.

Here is a link for Dara dog's flilters

http://www.allstocks.com/html/microcap_trade_tips__by_dardad.html

http://www.allstocks.com/stockmessageboard/ubb/ultimatebb.php/ubb/forum/f/4.html

I personaly just do a basic one.

When the Market first opens I want to see all the stocks that are green, and are going up. so I do this...

Trades - 2 to 9999
Gain is greater than 1% relative to close.

This will bring up all the gainers at opening bell. then I sort them by number of trades. But as the time goes by you need to raise the # of trades and gain, to narrow the list down, because to many stocks will have only a few trades or % gain after the first few min.

Just experiment with the filters and even create you own...You'll find out what you like to use quickly.

No problem. [Cool]

Also, look at the top 400. At the opening bell sort top 400 by # of trades, sometimes the stock the has the biggest % loss, and also has a lot of trades (near top of list) , could bounce back up. If a stock closed at 50 cents, and the MM's droped it to 25 cents fast at opening, it could come back up to 30-40 cents or something like that, after profit takers or weak hands are out.
