that's awesome! I closed my account 5 months ago because I wanted all my money on one account, but after what TDA did with CSHD (missed out on a lot of money), and the PAVC 100shares geek play, and PAIM, and just the fact that they decide which stocks I can or can't buy, I no longer want them. When you choose the direct pro product, and you choose the $0.005 per share payment plan, is there a minimum cost per trade? Like if you decide to daytrade GOOG all day long with 100 shares each time, that would only cost $0.5 per trade so that's VERY cheap, anyway just an idea I had. Does anyone use this payment plan?

Yes Choicetrade isn't licensed in some states but as far as I know they are working on that... they are expanding and just a matter of time... You can email or call their customer service people about questions... they are very friendly and helpful...

I am with Choicetrade but I don't like the way I have been jack'd around by SBSH their main MM for the penny stocks. I was going to take my money and go back to Scottrade but then a rep at Choicetrade recommended that I try ChoiceTrader Direct Pro ($25 a month), so I put in for the upgrade at the EOD on Friday. (I did not go for the extra $30 for L2's because I already have that with Microcap's platform) I should be able to start using Direct Pro on Monday or Tuesday, I will let you all know how it is after I use it.

The verdictis in... IF YOU ARE USING CHOICETRADE, 'ChoiceTrader Direct Pro' IS A MUST HAVE TO GET THE PERFORMANCE YOU WANT. Well worth the $25 per month.
It takes awhile to get used to it and you have to be carefull to choose your MM because the default is set at "Market" trade.

mo-rydr: so are you recommending Choicetrade Direct Pro, but not the basic Choicetrade?
I ask because I set up a Choicetrade account after becoming disillusioned with Ameritrade. But so far I'm unhappy with Choicetrade as well. It took them 3 days to execute my initial funding electronic deposit, so that the 5 day hold was really an 8 day hold. Now they're telling me that if I hold a stock less than three days, then I must wait three days after selling to reuse that money. And they're telling me that's an SEC rule. Since Ameritrade only makes me wait 3 days from the initial purchase regardless of when I sell, I dispute their claim that this is a rule.
In short, right now I am very unhappy with Choicetrade and will try another broker, but if you say that your recommendation of Direct Pro is NOT an endorsement of the basic service, I may give it a try despite all this.

I absolutely LOVE Choicetrade!!! I have NEVER had problems and have always had my shares right away. This includes splits, round-ups, name changes, and NEVER any retrictions on buying or selling. These folks are a TRUE brokerage to my standards. I gladly pay $5 per trade, no matter how big the share size or price.
They made over 3,000 percent with the PAVC geek play when no one else was able to sell. In fact I'm still waiting on my 99 shares to be available to sell through Fidelity...
Choicetrade over Fidelity, Scottrade or Sharebuilder ANYDAY!!!

For Direct Pro...is it a flat fee of $5 per trade for unlimited shares?
