Here is a question that I have, I found some old stock cert. that my Grandfather had when he worked for the Chicago Railroad, are they any good?

probably only as a collectors item. you can find tons of old certs for sale if you just google.

first see if the company is still around and public.. if not then it can be a collector's item..

i meant that there are many chicago railroad certs for sale. a few different ones. you can try your broker too, they may offer research for a fee. there are also some other companies that do research.
