that is how much i have paid in commission fees since i started trading, which isnt long. if you think the 1/2% doesn't add up, oh it does.

i really need to switch brokers, but its a hassle...

But, I believe with choice trade you need to pay for extra's that scottrade gives you as part of their service for free.

Don't you need to purchase a package charging a monthly rate for these extra's with choice trade?

25 (or 30?) trades a month yield free stuff...but that might force some into hurried trades--unwise.

What I'm doing is adding either Choicetrade or Lowtrades (maybe both) in addition to Scottie...

Yea, nothing wrong with having 2 or 3 different brokers.
Trade in one, keep updated through the other. Best of both worlds.

I'll stick to Choicetrade.com .... since i dont need those free things... like Level II's,streamers, etc.. since im only on the computer at night after market hours.. i just need a charting site and screener and im good to go...

I use Scottrade real-time w/Quotetracker...

I only make trades through Choicetrade.

If someone only trades in OTC/PK stocks, going w/Choicetrade is the best option IMO.

I use Scottrade because they have an office only 15 minutes from me. Their service has sure been slow today, though.
