matto, CEO'S get to much pay! Thats why they cheat, lie and steal...

They live in a World surrounded by "yes men"...

Some are decent hardworking folks, but we seem to have an orgy of greedy pimps running some of these companies....

Jail time doesn't faze um, till they stand weeping before a Judge.

not all fronts...

there are folks here who can be trusted, and not even all pinks are crooked. But a case can be made to concentrate on better picks, eg NAZ plays: more liquidity, harder to manipulate, etc

Don't be too hard on people Matto. Money makes people do strange things. Keep your morals and values high and set a good example for others.
It is not for us Christians to decide how others should act, God will be the ultimate judge.
I have been here only a few days but I would venture a guess that many on this site and others like it would tell you that morals and values get in the way of making money.
What I respect about you is that you are willing to share the gift that God gave you, an ability to pick winning stocks, with everyone that is interested. It must be a sweet reward to help others in such a way. Oh well I've carried on too long. I climbed up on a soap box but my brother's a minister so I'll blame him for gabbing too long.
Keep up the good work Matto.

Thanks Matto. Thanks Juice.

The Judge I am speaking of is not as high up as the other....But the Judges I speak of, sure can use all the help they can get...

We live in trying times...This dishonest mess that sometimes is Wall Street can lead to disillusionment amongst us...
But just remember, if you fight against the Dark Forces which show up on the board, you are doing your part to keep the light of day shinning thru!

While we are on the topic of Honesty, Other than the star rating system which doesn't really give us an accurate picture, how do newbies like myself know if the person posting is a good guy or one of the dark forces? I've been here close to a month and know a few of the good guys like Buy Tex but some are harder to figure out. I can tell Matto isn't one of the dark forces but what is a good indicator?

It just takes time, and watching they're record......
Both for good and not so good..

Some of the Dark Forces are getting fairly sophisticated...But doesn't take much thought and DD to figure them out..

The "Hot Stocks thread" crowd has a good record..
As does many on the Micro's.

I dont trust anyone. That way I dont blame anyone else. Its my fault if I get carried away by the hype. Its my fault if I buy somebody's bag. I'm really thankful to this forum it has taught me a lot. Yes there are those who would turn arround and sell you and there are those who are just great.

Agian we trade on speculation. Does one really really (100%) know? I DONT THINK SO.

I have learnt a lot from this forum I thank you guys (women included).

I hope you guys make lot of money. Let lady luck be with you. I want to trust some of you but I know I shouldnt [Big Grin] . I should just take my profit.

Some profit better than no profit and is way better than a loss. [Big Grin] (I learnt that here).

trying to build that discipline.

Thanks Casp. I agree. Personally I will never blame my losses on anyone else. No one is holding a gun to my head to force me to buy or sell. It is ultimately my decision.

The one true lesson I've learned thanks to some of the members of this board, is to take the profit. There are times I could have held on longer and made a higher % but I'm not about to feel bad because I only made 25-50%.

The hardest thing so far has been to accept the losses earlier and not hold on to losers. The thought that they will regain the ground they lost is counter productive. I now have money stuck in a stock that's going no where and missing being able to play others that are making a move.

It's a fine line. This I'm sure is what takes the longest to learn.

Yes Sir,
I often find myself in the position where I sell early and miss the run. Yes I do feel bad but not as bad as when I hold on and see the stock sky dive into land of no return.

Since we are talking about honesty here I was tempted to post my positions here so I could get some good critique about them. I don’t want to spoil the sanity of this post so I hold my temptation back LOL.

Already building that discipline you see.

Casp,

You could always open a thread and link to it from here. I wouldn't mind putting mine out there to get some feed back.

Well I guess I could do that but I have mine out there already in Micro Penny. Well I have in the past fired more threads than I should have. This is my step towards keeping it clean.

I bet you will find them.
