i am just started trading i really need your guys help~ tx..
what does last tick means in the trade account, u will see up down are equal? what it has to do with the price of the stocks?
aslo when i watch the Show time and sale (T&S) it shows you the buyer or sell orders, but how come i see many buy orders comes in and the price is not going up but the sometime even one sell oder comes in it drags down the price?

the last tick is the relationship to the previous trade. ie. trade of 18 next trade is 18.02 is a + tick. if next trade is 17.98 is would be a minus tick. your secong question has nothing to do with the tick. its simply supply and demand. if there is one seller but no one around to buy the stock will drop more than if multiple buyers are sitting on the bid looking for stock to buy
