I have a 1000 to invest. I have an account set up and all..

now i have a few questions.


1) what is bid and ask ?

2) Do I listen to anyone on this site ?

3) Do you guys post in here in the morning which stock is good to go into based on news , press releases ?

Hello, I have Ameritrade, but you have to wait 5 days for the money to clear to buy OTC stocks. Does anyone know of another online trading site where your money is available immediately to buy OTC stocks ?

If you wire transfer it ($15-20 fee), you can use those funds immediately...

Hello, I am fairly new to trading online and i was wondering if someone could answer this question for me. MCX is selling at 12.80 a share. They are offering a 6.25 share dividend to every share holder on record January 13,06. Does this mean that I will receive 6.25 a share for every share I own on record as of January 10 ? Is this money available to reinvest or are there restrictions on it ?

read books on trading and after you do that.. read more books on trading... no offense but sounds like you do not know what you are doing and you will only lose money if you dont learn the basics.. its like entering a poker game and not knowing the rules and basic strategies of the game.. your going in blind.. we can give you advice but you will get a million different opinions on how to do this or that.. best to read books from professional traders who make a living and only a living from trading (not including the money they make from books itself.. but traders who have made a living from trading first... )... below are some book suggestions..
