for any ipo the day it starts trading is the day you can buy it. unless you have an account with the underwriters or work for the company itself and received pre-ipo shares then you can buy it the minute it starts trading along with everyone else. example...underarmor ipo starts trading tomorrow so tomorrow will be the first day you can buy it. symbol is UARM.
