I read recently that you can see whether a company intends to do a reverse split... if that is true, how can I research whether or not a company has applied for one? How long does it take from when the company decides that they will do a reverse split and when they actually do it?
Also, this is probably a dumb question... but I see the abbreviation MM everywhere... what is that?

If you go to www.pinksheets.com and check the 'SEC filings', it should be listed. I THINK that the form for the split is 'PRE 14-C'under the SEC filings tab. Also, under the 'company info' tab, it'll tell you if there were any F/S or R/S done already. And an MM is a market maker. Good luck!
