I posted this on the below .10 thread but no one was able to help - hence I try again (and hope not to offend anyone):

There is no way to place stop loss orders for my (sub)pennies on scottrade or on lowtrades.

Yet, I hate to be glued to the monitor...and being able to place stop orders would really help to that effect.

Are there any programmers out there that could write a script - perhaps using the free Medved Tracker - to effect stop loss orders?

willing to buy you 300 000 shares..or let's be genenlours here, let's say 1/2 Million shares of PCCR if someone could write the script for me ;-)

What kind of stop would one use for pennies since they are so much more volitile than nasdak stocks. Do you go by where the stocks last level of support was or do you guys set a percentage. Ive been using a 8 percent stop or going by the last level of support for nasdak, nyse stocks but it seems like 8 percent wouldnt work well for penny stocks since they are so volital.

I use a 7% percent drop but might change it to 8 percent .. but anyways it helped me get out of GV which has been dropping in the last 2 or 3 days..
