I want to get into trading and I only have $2000 to start with. Can someone please suggest either an online trading site that allows setting blocks on stock prices and such without me having to pay $17 a trade. Having to pay that much basically takes away any profit I might have earned. Any suggestions are a big help.

Been thinkin of going with choicetrade. Got one question about it though: Do the charge more on trades for stocks under $1, like scottrade? I am paying $10.50 now.

Of course they offer quotes for stocks... all brokerages do... and you place your orders online like all other brokerages.. no phone calls unless you want to or don't have access to a computer or internet...

They are really good... and a little more then half the price in commissions/fee's then let's say Ameritrade for the same exact service.. never heard anyone complain about Choicetrade... Scottrade on the other hand I always hear complaints about...

ive already mentioned several times that stop/losses are for any price stocks.. meaning for stocks under $1 per share as well.. as for Level II's.. i dont use them because im not home most of the time to even use Level II... thats why i make my trading decisions at night and put stop/losses in case the trade goes against me... someone else would have to answer you about the Level II on choicetrade or else call their customer service # or explore their website for answers....
