I've been trying for about 3 days to figure out how to set up Quote Tracker with zilch results. Does anyone know of a site that provides a detailed step by step idiot's guide to setting it up?

what broker do you use? it might not integrate with your broker.. i know it does integrate with Choicetrade.. and few others.. i forget the others though..

I still haven't figured out the Quote Tracker (and so can't use it yet), but since I have "officially" notified Lowtrades that I have it, they are only charging me half the normal cost per trade.
I was on another board yesterday and a person appeared using the neme "medved" offering to answer any and all questions about it. Sadly, with respect to mine, he gave me an address for a Quote Tracker user forum and than high-tailed it outta there. For anyone interested, here is that address:

I can't really answer you since I use Choicetrade and not Lowtrades... only Lowtrades or Quotetracker people can help you with the problem.. try calling customer service instead of emailing them...

We monitor various message boards, but it is difficult to be in all places at all times, so for fast replies its best to either email support@quotetracker.com or post on our message boards.

Now that's fine! Just exactly where or how does one find things? Your directions say "Start QuoteTracker and select Lowtrades as the quote source". There is no button or option or whatevdr called "quote source". From there you tell me to select options that are not available and it will magically work. I suppose you would be fine telling a student in his very first day of high school algebra, "All you have to do it plug the values into the quadratic equation and it will work". Me, I don't just think, I know, first you have to understand that the term "quadratic equation" is jargon that you cannot expect the uninitiated to have any hope of knowing of or about. He can't plug anything into the quadratic equation, because he has no hope of finding it.

bdgee - QuoteTracker has a very small section across the top of the main window. on it, there is a SITE dropdown list. If you have not already selected a site to use as a quote source, it will have:
"-- Please Select a Quote Source -- "
text in it. When you click on it, you see a bunch of brokers, datafeeds, etc. that you can pick from. I thought that was sufficiently self explanatory. I will expand that explanation.
