Hey,

My question is does it ever make sense to buy or sell a penny stock on Market Price.

For example if a penny stock is running hard and quickly does and I want to get in as quickly as possible is it best to send a request for a price slightly higher than the ASK or just do a market order?

Or has it ever happened where one will buy or sell a penny stock at market price and completely ripped off?

Thank You

ZJamaican,

I agree with Tex on buying.

But sometimes when a stock decides to drop like a rock and you want out in a flash, it's harder to catch the price than to catch a ghost. If the price is falling a couple of percent in the time you have to set and send an order, it often can pass you by even before you can send the order and you have to start over at a lower price than a market order to sell would have gotten you in the first place. These things are not always easy to catch as they climb, but, sometimes, they like to fall faster than greesed lightning.
