Can anyone offer a rule of thumb on how much they pay in taxes when making a profit off of a trade? I think this is reported on a 1099-B ... I'm just curious how y'all handle this. I'm just starting some trading this year, and I don't want to get hit with an extra grand or two in taxes because I did not withold any earning from stock trades!

thanks....
