according to - http://www.global-etrade.com/english/pricing_shedule.html - it is a $19.99 flat fee for 2000 stocks or less. for every stock you buy over 2000, a $0.015 charge per stock is applied. does this limit include penny stocks?

not being an eTrade user i wouldn't know but i think it's unlimted shares, regardless of the amount of trades. but, with something like Canada eTrade, it's some b.s. share limit. don't know for sure though.
