I am a student doing a stock project and need some stock tips. I ran into a problem because i can't invest in any penny stocks. Anyone have some stocks above $1 that i can sell long, or more than $5 that i can sell short. Those are the simulator rules.

I'm with chiptooth...WLSF is a great play in my opinion, but what are the rules and goals of your simulation? A lot of simulations encourage students to "gamble" money (take huge risks on the chance of making it 'big' to win). I hope your simulation is set up better than that, and does not necessarily reward the 'lucky' ones. Those that win in the long run are not the lucky ones, but the wise and disciplined ones.
All this to say, with real money, WLSF is an excellent play, but there will of course be other stocks that will do better and most will do worse.
Also, what is the time frame of your simulation?
And by the way, check out QBID as well.
Happy Simulating, ~River~

Oooops, forgot QBID was a penny...wouldn't work with your rules. WLSF is a good one, though...IMO (in my opinion)

Thanks to all of you with the WLSF. My goal for the simulator is just try to make as much money as I can. I don't get graded on how much money i make or lose, just that i learn the basics.

Can someone help me with the "Sell short" option. I think i kinda got the jist of it, but where and when would I do it. Any good companies to do it in now with my simulator?
