i have a question .. newbie question:

is the bid and ask is done only by the MMs?? meaning if i'm selling ... am i selling to another person or only to the MM .. same with bid...

The bid and the ask are posted to the exchanges by the market makers. It may represent your order or someone elses.

i believe u can trade OTC:BBs with thru GNET, a market maker, and you can affect the bid/ask yourself, instead of buying from/selling to the MM. trades cost 35 dollars though. not sure about other restrictions, if any. u'll need a direct access broker to accomplish this.
