hey i have been interested in investing for quite some time now and well i have enough money saved up for college and have a regular job, and just wanted to sort of do it on the side and see what i could come up with. but the problem is i'm only 17, i saw on etrade.com that you can set up a joint account with an adult but was wondering if i would still have the freedoms of a regular account or if there were any other places where i could do the same type of thing. and also how much does uncle sam get if you make money from investing? and what other types of fees are there?

Had my father set up an account. Then I traded it. It was way before the net so back then it was the news papers and such to get information. Yea and we had to call all orders in.

Does Choicetrades charge more for otcbb or pinks? I went to website and it doesn't say, I'm assuming 5.00 for any exchange? Also, does Choicetrade have a stop sell that can be used even on otcbb stock?
