I'm actually quite happy using E*Trade Pro - except that they sometimes have pretty slow executions on the pennies...

I use Ameritrade, and happy with them. No problems yet with OTC or pinks and there at the same price no matter how many shares you get 10.99 a trade.

Doesn't Scotttrade make you call a broker for pennies and charge 22.50 or something close to that?

Rick

PS not trying to advertise but since it was in that post Ameritrade offers 25 free trades for signing up

Rick:
Scottrade has got a hair better
on pennies than when I first opened an account with them. Its been a while since I used my Scottrade account.
(have a lot of masg sitting)
If they have a bid or an ask you don't have to call, but like the pinks when you go to buy usually don't have a bid or an ask that shows up.
To order pennies from thieir site if I remember right is .005 of the principle plus $12.00 I can't remember what they charged me the last time I called in. That was way back when ctkh was hot the other time.
as I'm sure every one knows my favorite is

Hi,
Another newbie. I like the sound of Choicetrade.Machiavelli, can you get an incentive from me transferring to Choicetrade? I have Scottrade now, but am tired of paying more for limit orders.Has anyone here transferred an account yet? Is it as easy as they say it will be to do? Are there any costs by the brokers? If anyone had done this please let me know how it went.

Thanks,
Sarah

Scottrade has low limit so if in micro pennys use Ameritrade or one of those. Scottrade is one of best if mainly over $1 trades but is like Firstrade which is one of my brokers in that for under $1 shares charge .005 per share over 5000. Forgot that yesterday as usually use my other broker and 2 trades in which I made a $74 gain cost me $400 to trade. Ouch that hurt. If you are used to TDWaterhouse Ameritrade probably better for you then Tradingdirect, Choicetrades, or Lowtrades and has most of the advantages without being totally barebones.
