My problem is......I had a sell (Limit-GTC @ .03) on GNES. It spiked up to .032 but it did not sell. I don't understand why and maybe someone can explain this to me as I just started trading pennies last month. Any help would sure be appreciated!

probably because the bid never got to your sell limit or the size you are offering was to large for the orders.

I think that it is more than likey a decimal place error when keyed in. Like .003 was entered as .03. I've been seeing this alot. Also if you see a transaction at like .01 and the price is like .003. It is more than likely a market maker trade. Or so I've been told. Feel free to correct me....

They are SUPPOSED to do them in order of trade offers at that price, and some brokers dont try that hard to get lowest price. Easier if limit bid for .032 to match if limit bid .032 then see if something lower. Also if same MM has a limit bid and limit ask at same price they get twice the commission if fill it themselves. Usually it is just didnt get to your turn though.
