I dont fully understand the Pattern Day Trader Rule....

I have a margin account can I only buy and sell the same stock three times in one week or does this rule apply to all stock total? HELP!!!

You should be asking your broker...

If you have say 1000 in cash in your account at the beginning of the day.

You can buy and sell the 1000 in a given day. You can then buy again but can't sell till the next day.

If you have no cash and just stock. You can sell the stock and buy another but can't sell till the next day.
