WHAT DO YOU MEAN? You have all certificates traded on internet ? Normally your broker handles all this.?? If you have purchased direct from company and "They" have issued them to you. The cheapest way is to open a new brokerage account and transfer them in. What is the stock worth? VAN

Hey VNGNTN1 Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm from the old school and like to hold on to things that I own, incase someone wants to skip town. Everytime I purchased stocks on line I requested that the stock certificates be sent to me. The stock is BRKL and closed at 15.60 a share. I counted and have about 3,000 shares in a drawer. Now I want to sell them, and find its easier to buy them than sell them? Without large commisions?

Haha wow that is awesome. I guess us 18 year olds just dont know what its like to "hold your shares" anymore. So I wouldnt know how to sell them but I bet you could call a broker of some sort and they could help you out.

altharv Take them or send them to your broker. No problem. Why do you need to sell? You could open a new account at Ameritrade, mail certificates, then sell. - - - - - - IMO This is a GOOD stock paying decent dividends and well managed. If you do not need the $ I would send to a broker and put in an order " SELL 3000 BRKL STOP/LIMIT @ $15.00" This keeps you in the game and ride it up. When market does roll over it will sell automatically @15 or better. You should monitor and move your S/L up maintaning 2% below the market price. I don't have time to explain the details, but have used my formulas to help here. I have 12 people in the 70's & 80's who are uncomfortable with computers and the complexitys in the market. VAN
