is it legal to use 2 clients?
Is it legal to use ameritrades streamer and trade stocks through IB?

I don't see why it would be. If I remember the disclamer correctly it only said about resale and republishing the info.

timberman that is all that i could find as well. It just seems like it wouldnt be allowed, but i dont see the rule

Well what I mean is I don't see a problem with it. You can use any streamer and then trade anywhere you want. There are no laws that I know of prohibiting that. Go for it.

i am not going to do this, because i am actually going to just go with one broker, but it could be a good idea for some

I don't think it's against the rules, lots of people use 2 or more brokers to trade through, It helps you get around being flaged as a daytrader. It could be a big hassle at tax time though.
