AOP, a Subsidiary of Talisman Holdings Inc. Makes Its Mark in the Huge Fertilizer Industry, A Strategic Commodity That Must Expand Production

SPRINGFIELD, OH, Aug 12, 2010 (eTeligis.com via COMTEX) Advanced Organic Products Worldwide (AOP), a subsidiary of Talisman Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TMHO) is emerging as a leader in the gigantic fertilizer marketplace. It is estimated that the size of the worldwide fertilizer market is 175,000,000 metric tons, and has a staggering value figure of $150,000,000,000. Fertilizers are currently responsible for between 40 and 60% of the world's food supply. They are necessary to replenish our soil. Natural nutrients are removed with harvested crops and help provide nutritional value to the food we eat. These nutrients must be replaced to ensure each year's crop grows a nutritious supply of food.

A strong global demand for fertilizer is stretching the current production capacity to its technical limits. In order to satisfy global demand for food in 2050, annual food production must increase at a compounded average exceeding one percent. When all factors are considered, simply expanding crop production into new land will be inadequate. INCREASED PRODUCTION MUST COME FROM FERTILIZER APPLICATION WHICH ACHIEVES HIGHER YIELDS THROUGH ADOPTION OF IMPROVED TECHNOLOGY THAT IS COST EFFECTIVE AND KNOWLEDGE INTENSIVE.

AOP has licensed a technically advanced organic fish fertilizer using proprietary methodology. Studies show that the superior AOP organic product is unsurpassed at restoring these essential ingredients to the soil.

Not only is the product cost effective; it is far easier to apply and store. Under normal conditions and usage, it takes only 60 gallons of our organic fertilizer to equal one metric ton of chemical fertilizer.

The Company believes the superiority of its product will allow it to capture an ever-increasing share of this gigantic $150,000,000,000 market commencing immediately. Because of the enormous scale of the market, even small percentile growth increases amount to significant sales boosts. The Company believes the very nature of the product makes such sales spurts inevitable. The potential is astronomical!

"AOP organic fish fertilizer encourages more natural, unforced growth. It will enhance the hardiness, taste and keeping quality of all fruits and vegetables. Plants drawing on nutrients released by the organic cycle will be more resistant to pests and diseases. This is accompanied by significant yield increases, with the best prices in the industry. We have the right product at the right time, and it is a situation that will lead to spectacular corporate growth and success," said David Long, Talisman President

News out on TMHO

Advanced Organic Products Worldwide, a Subsidiary of Talisman Holdings, Inc., Addresses Critical Worldwide Food Shortage Problem, a Green Solution to a Global Crisis

SPRINGFIELD, OH, Aug 24, 2010 (eTeligis.com via COMTEX) Talisman Holdings, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: TMHO) -- The issue of escalating food prices is a matter of global concern. Food demand has outpaced the world's ability to increase food supplies. This has resulted in a rapid rise in food prices and local food shortages. On top of this, the world's population grows by 80 million individuals each year.
The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) estimates that the total world demands for agricultural products will be 60% higher in 2030 than it is today.

The problem is that options for increasing food production are limited by the supply of land and water. The increasing world population, among other factors, limits any significant expansion of global arable acres. In some countries acreage may increase, but elsewhere arable land is shrinking. For example, China alone lost over 100,000 acres of arable land in 2007, and over a million acres of U.S. agriculture land is lost to development uses each year.

Just consider:

1. The world's grain stocks to use ratio is at its lowest level in 35 years.2. In eight of the nine years since 2000, global consumption of grains and oil seeds has exceeded production.3. If the world's farmers stopped growing food today, we would only have enough grains to feed the world's population for 58 days.

We are simply not growing enough food to keep up with world demand. Given the fact that there is only so much land, the only solution is enhanced efficiency with respect to production. IN OTHER WORDS, WITHOUT FERTILIZER THE GAME IS OVER.

AOP, a subsidiary of Talisman Holdings, in cooperation with its technology partner has created a line of organic liquid fish fertilizers using a proprietary enzymatic low temperature process that produces a hyperactive bio-stimulant different and more efficient than anything else on the market today. The naturally occurring organic oils, collagens and amino acids in the AOP products are retained in the soil. These properties provide a veritable feast of essential nutrients to stimulate microbial growth... thus aiding in composting of organic materials required for development of healthy plants and crops with improved yields, appearance and flavor.

David Long, Company President, said: "The superior AOP organic fertilizer addresses a crucial problem by providing a realistic solution. In order to increase world food production in a sustainable manner, farmers will need to use the right fertilizer at the right rate, the right time and the right place. The AOP product is the best option, and this bodes well for the future
