avVaa World Health Care Products Receives $250,000 Funding Wednesday April 25, 8:30 am ET
LUMBY, British Columbia, April 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- avVaa World Health Care Products Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AVVW - News), a global biotechnology company offering therapeutic, 98% natural skin and health care products, announced today that on March 1, 2007, the Company completed financing agreements for $250,000 with private investors (the "investors"). The Company indicated the funds will be used for working capital purposes and to further its sales and distribution strategies.
Chairman of avVaa Jack Farley said, "The global market for professional skin care products is estimated at over $5 billion and is growing at double- digit rates [source: Kline & Company]. Our avVaa Care product line is positioned to capitalize on strong demand for effective, steroid-free skin care treatments. With our recent funding, we plan to accelerate our marketing and distribution efforts, setting the stage for Over-the-Counter product placement in both the U.S. and abroad. Our secondary product line of human hair care products and a line of Animal Care products will also significantly expand our sales opportunities, once our world distribution channels are established."
avVaa issued to the investors callable secured convertible notes totaling $250,000 with a 6% interest rate and a maturity of three years (the "Notes"). The Notes are convertible into shares of the Company's common stock on a formula basis. The Notes are secured with a secondary position on all of the Company's assets pursuant to the Security Agreement and the Intellectual Property Security Agreement entered into with the Investors. In addition, the Company granted the Investors warrants with a seven-year maturity, to purchase 10 million shares of the Company's common stock at an exercise price of $.002. Pursuant to the terms of a Registration Rights Agreement, the Company is required to register the shares underlying the Notes, as well as the shares to be issued pursuant to the Warrant within 45 days from the Closing Date and is required to have the registration statement declared effective within 120 days from the Closing Date.
The Company also reports that effective on April 19, 2007, the Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Darrell Stevens as interim CEO and Director on the Board. The Board expressed its sincere appreciation of the outstanding work done by Darrell Stevens as interim CEO. Chairman Jack Farley indicated the Board is in the final process of selecting a new CEO, whose appointment will be announced in a forthcoming press release.

I got in at 0.0008 when RBCM disappered from the Ask, and the next day he reappeard at Ask 0.0007. So I thought the bottom might be at 0.0004. However, I estimated the MMs' average cost was about 0.0015, and thought it may take longer than I expected. I have confidence on AVVW becasue some private company offered themn a loan of 250K$. This PR today was totally unexpected.
