Aurus Convenes Special Board Meeting
NEW YORK, NY, Apr 19, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Aurus Corp. (PINKSHEETS: AURC) announces that it has called upon the Board of the Company to a special meeting on April 24, 2007 to study the proposal made to purchase all the outstanding shares for an all cash consideration. Mr. Grancharoff, vice president, states, 'The president asked that I attend a special meeting of the Board to study and voice our opinion as directors on the offer that was submitted. The shareholders shall be notified of both the details of the offer as well as our recommendations. The conclusion shall be announced on April 24, 2007 at the closing of the market.'
