If you purchased through your broker you have common shares. The preferred shares were given back on September 2006.

Cabbie, that might be something different, the dividen was 10,000 perferred for every 1 common BKMP. See PR back on Sep 7, 2006.

Also, to convert to common, it will cost you.

For every 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) preferred shares of Blackout Media you own you have the right to buy 1,000,000 restricted common shares of Blackout Media (BKMP) Corp. stock along with the payment of $150.00 to Blackout Media Corp.

This is a mandatory conversion -- but should you not exercise your right to convert them by April 30th, 2007 your preferred shares become null and void.

But if you are interested in doing this you MUST do it by April 30th, 2007 after which the company will no longer accept your preferred shares for conversion and they will become worthless.

Heh the last restricted bonus of AMSN we got from BKMP and it went to crap towards the end of the holding period and still is. IMHO i wouldn't take another dime store dividend this company cares to offer. Play it like it is, a pink, rinse and repeat.

[Big Grin] Gotta like this when TFN is making news in England.

News and Notes from the UK

By Jim Burman

WINNER VS. BUTLIN RE-SCHEDULED ON “RIVAL” PROMOTION AS TITLE BOUT

The highly anticipated match-up between Andre Winner (5-0) and Ian Butlin (6-5) - previously arranged for April 28’s CageWarriors “Enter The Rough House 2” event in Nottingham has been cancelled due to Butlin suffering an arm injury.

However, in a show of solidarity, the fight has been rescheduled for July 8’s FX3 Fight Night 5 in Reading and will be for the vacant FX3 Lightweight Championship title. Injured former champion Ollie Ellis has relinquished his title due to an inability to defend it in a timely fashion.

ACT OF SOLIDARITY

At the end of 2006 several UK MMA promotions started to hold talks in order to form a UK MMA association and the aforementioned moves seems to be evidence of its progress. The initial promotions involved in these talks are Cage Warriors, FX3 (Freestyle Fighting Federation), Ultimate Force and House of Pain.

The move isn’t as altruistic as it first seems, however. When he heard that the fight was off Paul James, promoter of FX3, originally contacted CageWarriors asking to make the match on his show. Winner already has two wins at FX3 and is building a local reputation; while Butlin is managed by Warrior Promotions, the company behind CageWarriors, and has struggled to get fights in the past. Rather than let it pass by both, organizations have come to an amicable agreement that seems to benefit all parties involved.

CAGE RAGE SALE BUNK, SAYS UK PROMOTERS

Making a grand entrance Tuesday’ at K-1/Pro Elite press conference at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Cage Rage owners Andy Geer and Dave O’Donnell were quick to debunk rumors that their booming UK promotion might be bought out by the Japanese K-1 outlet. Instead, Geer and O’Donnell announced their commitment to the “organizational alliance” unveiled that day between six fight promotions, including Korea’s Spirit MC, BodogFIGHT, and the California-based Strikeforce.

Geer and O’Donnell are also working to secure TV programming in the U.S. by their April 21 event, while their programming is already available in Canada on The Fight Network.

HEAVYWEIGHT MATCH-UPS AT ULTIMATE FORCE COULD “SHUFFLE THE PACK”

Ultimate Force’s next event “Fight Factory” at Doncaster Dome on May 19 could let loose the cat amongst the pigeons in the UK heavyweight scene with some interesting match-ups incorporating some of Cage Rage’s veterans.

Highly touted Tengiz Tedoradze (20-7-1) faces Ireland’s Colin Robinson (6-1) in the main bout of the evening. Tedoradze is currently the Cage Rage British Heavyweight Champion following his destruction of Rob Broughton in February.

Robinson, who has a win over recently retired Cage Rage regular Rob “Buzz” Berry, is first set to face Wes Sims at April 21’s Cage Rage show and rumor has it that “Big C” is ready to move up a league. Tedoradze is certainly a tough test for him, but if Robinson can best the Georgian, then it’ll see his stock rise incredibly.

Former K-1 Champion Gary “Smiler” Turner (1-0-1), the man charged with the task of facing Bob Sapp at April 21’s Cage Rage “Judgement Day,” is set to face tough Wolfslair Team member Tom Blackledge (5-4) afterwards. Blackledge, who scored a jaw-dropping KO with a kick to the face of Tom Howard at Cage Rage 20’s “Born To Fight” in February has certainly been more active than his proposed May 19 opponent in recent years, but there’s no doubting Turner’s considerable skills and this could be another one for the highlight reel.

“CAGE FIGHTER” BECOMES “ULTIMATE FIGHTER”

A national campaign launched for April 21’s UFC 70 “Nations Collide” has only fortified the U.S.-based promotion’s claims they are making a permanent commitment to the UK.

With “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series playing regularly here on Bravo TV, the traditionally utilized term “cage fighter” is slowly morphing to “ultimate cage fighter” and then “ultimate fighter,” while a general awareness of the sport is rising.

UK CALENDAR

21/4 - UFC 70 “Nations Collide” Manchester, MEN Arena
21/4 - Cage Rage 21 “Judgement Day” London, Wembley Arena
21/4 - Cage Wars – Dublin, Ireland
28/4 - CageWarriors “Enter The Rough House 2” Nottingham, Harvey Haddon Sports Centre
19/5 – Ultimate Force “Fight Factory” South Yorkshire, Doncaster Dome
26/5 – Cage Rage Contenders - Dublin, Ireland

More on joost

Technology
Joost boosts Internet TV
Peer-to-peer plan could make television on demand a reality
By DAVID SILVERBERG

"Free Web TV." these words would make even the most spoiled tech nerd stiffen with joy. But the promise of a seamless Net-TV alliance has left us feeling limp: 10-minute clips on YouTube, network "webisodes" posted after their air date, South Park-only sites that could do with some variety. Is this the best we can do?

Not if two Vikings have their way. If anyone can marry the Internet and TV without any awkward pre-nups, it's the founders of Kazaa and Skype. Scandinavians Niklas Zennstrºm and Janus Friis are known as Internet pioneers (and now millionaires) who created the file-sharing powerhouse Kazaa and Net-phone combo Skype, the latter sold to eBay Inc. for $2.6 billion (U.S.) in 2005.

They're not content to sleep on beds of money. They'd rather start a new company that uses the peer-to-peer networking power of the Kazaa code, and instead of grabbing music from around the world, it displays streaming-video of DVD quality.

Joost, still in beta form and yet to be released, is a piece of software that could make everyone winners. The public can download the player app free and watch streamed programs on demand on their PC. Along with top-notch streaming through the notorious P2P technology, Joost allows viewers to chat using instant messenger programs or create branded channels with custom content. If these veteran Web mavens have learned anything, it's to let the public play with toys. TV can't be inactive any more.

Coincidentally, two out of three major broadcasters signing with Joost are Toronto-based. JumpTV, headquartered on King West, partnered with the new company to supply "ethnic television" from more than 70 countries. CHUM signed with Joost last week, offering content ranging from MuchMusic's Live*Much to FashionTelevision reportage.

So far, the only non-Canuck in the Joost camp is Viacom, weighing in with a hefty dose of stoner-approved Comedy Central and MTV shows.

Sounds like Joost is aiming for the coveted young-male demographic. And where there's testosterone, expect advertisers to come looking for some action. Joost is attractive to advertisers because Web TV can pinpoint people's location and viewing habits and create tailored advertising for them. Ad companies could buy The Colbert Report fans in a certain area code, for instance.

But here's the beautiful part of the sales pitch: Joost plans to allow only one minute of advertising per hour of viewing. And with the software's TiVo-like controls, ads are less of a nuisance than with the static boob tube.

So the Kazaa dudes want to introduce us to free TV through the Internet, completely legit, with barely any ads. If this doesn't change mainstream media to the core, what will?

Unlike the file-sharing hoopla that scared industry execs, the online video trend is urging the major networks to get on board or miss out on the Next Big Thing.

"Joost is an on-demand experience that will help us get a new audience abroad," says Maria Hale, vice-president of business development for CHUM Television. "The model appeals to us, the lineage of the founders intrigued us and the technology definitely impressed us."

How does Joost work? Zennstrºm and Friis realized that the best way to move files like MP3s across long distances is through a network of users (or peers). So the Joost team will use their branded networking technology called Global Index to handle the millions of bits flowing between global users.

Add massive servers that can hold 80,000 half-hour TV episodes and Joost becomes a platform for more than just Ice T's Rap School. It's only a matter of time before Hollywood and more media giants start filling those servers with the fix every Net junkie needs.

The stage is set for Joost to ripple wider than Skype or Kazaa ever will. Broadband is spiking in Canada, hooking up PCs to TV screens isn't the head-scratcher it once was, and major networks are even creating their own online video portals.

Essentially, Joost could finally become our favourite way of watching prime-time: on our own terms, completely free and without a commercial's repetitive idiocy.

There's nerd talk that 2007 will be the year of the iPhone. Or Nintendo Wii's complete dominance. But the dark horse waiting in the shadows and poised to step into the limelight could be the most revolutionary piece of technology we've seen since YouTube served us tasty video fragments.

Instead of slices, though, Joost will be dishing out complete entrees, on the house.

Good PR's and an impressive future and now someone has just did a 50,000,000 trade, but still no pps movement. What wrong with this picture?
I guess everyone has tuned out on the PR's. Maybe they need to do a TV commerical or uplist to the OTC BB.

That's because there's probably a thousand buyers ahead of you at .0002, so it may take a week or 2. You need to buy at .0003. There's probably a ton of sellers at .0003 since it's not moving to .0004. Hopefully the buy-back will eliminate some of the excess shares and cause the pps to rise.

Not since last summer it hasn't (.001 then)
and it's been going downhill ever since.
Anybody know the R/S history of this puppy?
Rock bottom is always the best time to buy
in any event.
Never mind the boiler room hype and the
"must buy" shark feeding frenzy.
I waited till she hit .0003, did a 'mon back,
and loaded up the truck there.

Hold your horses! I was just stating a fact. I know that it was last year, but I was just proving a point. I hope it breaks .0009 again since I got in at .0008 LAST YEAR.

I never jump in on hype alone.
To many boiler room bozos pumping, dumping, and
waiting to cash in on the short sell in here.
Same ole song and dance.
Man, you'd think they'd come up with a new tune.
They're so predictable it ain't funny no more.
When you see em pump then wait for the dump
then jump in when it hits the bottom.
This either spikes or R/S's.
Of course the MM's are trading under the table
in the quadruple zeros (you & I can't).
If/when they let this go she'll shoot for the moon.

POLL POSITION

By: John Pollock
LIVE AUDIO WRESTLING

This past weekend the WWE presented their biggest show of year with “WrestleMania 23” from Ford Field in front of 80,000 fans. “WrestleMania” is the without question the most financially successful show of the year for the Stamford, Connecticut based World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

With a huge promotional push for this year’s show including billionaire celebrity Donald Trump incorporated into a ‘Hair Vs Hair’ match with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon coupled with a strong product on TV, the company is expecting one of its highest Pay Per View buy rates of all time.

35.7% of Fight Network readers believe that last night’s show will do over 1.2 million buys when all is said and done, making it the most purchased WWE event of all time and second only to the recent Chuck Liddell Vs Tito Ortiz in terms of non boxing events. The one advantage the WWE currently has over the UFC is their international expansion where 39% of their final number of buys comes from outside of North America whereas the UFC is strictly a North American audience on Pay Per View.

19% of more skeptical readers peg this show at doing 900,000 buys, which would be a conservative estimate and a disappointment internally for the company in 2007. Last year’s show did just under 1 million buys but lacked the celebrity tie in of this year’s and an overall hotter product with many insiders predicting another boom period in the works for pro wrestling.

As we look back at the last wrestling boom period from 1998 – 2001, it began in 1997 with a strong product and exploded after “WrestleMania 14” on March 29th 1998 with the attraction of Mike Tyson as a guest referee during the height of his controversial suspension from boxing for biting off the ear of Evander Holyfield. The show attracted a casual audience that enjoyed the entire product and continued to watch after Tyson left. This year I would say the cache of Donald Trump is not at the same level but the current storylines centering around their main performers are the best they have been in years with a strong main event mix and core underneath talent such as Mr. Kennedy, CM Punk and Bobby Lashley.

16.7% of readers see the show doing less than 900,000 buys total, which I can’t possibly see happening. 11.9% put the show at 1.1 million buys, 9.5% see it doing 1.0 million buys and finally 7.1% of readers tag it at 1.2 million.

I believe the company should do no less than 1.1 million for this show and anything above 1.2 million would surprise me and be a credit to the product being so hot right now.

With a $49.95 price tag and a record gate for this show, “WrestleMania 23” stands to be the most successful show in WWE history.
