Press Release Source: Esprit Financial Group

Esprit Financial Group Inc. (Esprit) (CHNW.PK) Announces 'Cash Now 21' to be Added to Licensed Products Available to All Current Cash Now Licensees
Wednesday April 4, 7:00 am ET

LAS VEGAS, NV, April 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Esprit Financial Group Inc. (ESPRIT) (formerly Cash Now Corporation) (CHNW.PK) www.espritfinancialgroup.com is pleased to announce that it will offer its new 'Cash Now 21' service to both domestic and international licensees.

The 'Cash Now 21' service is based on U.S. Federal Law under the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act, which defines an approved methodology on how financial institutions can expedite check clearing using advanced electronic methods. Under this new system, digital images of the front and back of a check are created, capturing all of the information digitally, then transmitted via secured internet connection to a check 21 bank/processor and directly to the Federal Reserve System. The Federal Reserve System then forwards data to the Paying Bank.

There are a number of benefits to this approach, but the most visible improvement to bank customers depositing checks is the increased speed with which their checks can be cleared. Generally, 80% of the funds deposited are available the morning of the next banking day, and funds are completely cleared within 48 hours.

Currently, most banks physically move the original paper checks through clearing services and banks on which the funds are drawn. A typical check is handled a staggering average of 19 times. There are 42 billion checks written in the U.S. annually. The check 21 service is of obvious interest to Financial Institutions.

Qualified Cash Now licensees will be able to purchase a complete hardware and software package that offers digital imaging devices and the necessary software platform to process checks using the advanced 'Cash Now 21' service. The focus will be primarily on our International licensees, as the latent demand for this service is quite evident. Checks drawn on a U.S. bank and deposited in foreign countries typically take weeks for funds to clear. The Company's international licensees will be able to speed up the clearing process to a mere 3 business days - a dramatic improvement over current clearing processes.

Cash Now licensees will be able to process business and personal checks, as well as money orders and Travelers Checks under this new system.

Jack Chang, head of Esprit's Advanced Electronic Funds Management division reports; "There has already been interest expressed in this service from international clients who have tracked us down even though we have not launched the product. We are on track to officially launch this service by the end of April or early May. The software and banking relationships are already in place. We will be packaging and pricing the service, and putting in client support services over the next month in preparation for the launch."

Esprit CEO Garr Winters advises; "We believe we will be 1st non-bank financial services corporation to offer this service internationally. While there may be some interest from some of our larger domestic clients, we really see the international market becoming the core focus for Cash Now 21. The international check clearing market represents huge potential for growth, and we are first-to-market with a great product. We will be providing ongoing reports to keep our shareholders well informed as we bring more services online within this division."

That would be nice. I mean all these PR's really mean nothing. They need to stop these Fluff PR's and only give news of big deals, date of symbol change, buyouts, or earnings.. (some SEC filings would be nice)

I really hope people are just holding off on this and keeping it steady around 001 before the name change where it can take off. Here's to being pessimistically optimistic [Smile]

BTW.. Anyone know how long name changes usually take after they get filed? Just trying to get an estimate as to when this will take place.

You remember there being any restriction on when/how much they could sell? If they got payed at 0003 and it's now bouncing 0008 to 0012, that's not a bad gain.

Still makes more sense for a company like this that as far as we hope is a company with actual revenue to increase the pps if management is paid in stock. Who cares about limited gains bouncing from 0008 to 0012 when they can have huge gains by getting the pps up to $1+

Actually the 72M could be 7.2M. Scottrade only shows 7 places for number of shares (I do believe volume was above 100M before close), but still... Good volume after hours [Smile]

I have their daily volume at 196,926,160. If that is accurate and they are buying back their full amount daily, they could have bought 49,231,540. The after hours shares that were traded = 57,222,800, to much for todays volume. It is interesting that the last 6 after hours trades equal exactly 50 mil. together though. What are the chances that they are a day behind on volume? In other words, they have to arrange for the purchase based on yesterdays volume. Just a thought. I hate speculating things like this, you just never know, could be brokers clearing their books. Who the h*ll knows.

I agree with you cottonjim. have about the same no.'s on buyback- and have start dated that about 3 weeks ago when price should have jumped up imo. MM's covering while co. buying back- short positions probably are not that high. My pessimistic estimate would put the buy back at about 1.2b shares at present. IN MY OPINION; they have arranged financing to cover operations, launching of forex, duetch ipo. But looking at their capital structure, and estimating generic cost- I believe they also arranged financing for up to 3b share buy back=$3million....not alot when you look at the market share of a $1.7trillion industry. if chnw's forex site can gain a small tenth of 1%= $1billion annually! But just to be a basher for a second, even a hundredth of a percent would be awesome. Lenders bite at opportunity- chnw has wachovia backing-they go for the gold. Don't trade this stock! invest, and ride it all the way up-$3.00 by this time next year- this is the stock that everybody always wishes they had after it rocket's up. Flipper's and profit taker's will have 20/20 hindsight and continue to plug away day after day, hoping for the "big one", while investor's will enjoy a comfortable life (depending on how many shares you got) lol

Jim, I can appreciate the brokers clearing the books. This isnt the first pink to have this happen but 25% of the volume? AND this isnt the first day. I am not saying they are buying back, but damn, there has to be a reason other than clearing in my book. I dont have the answer but if they cant show 25% of the daily trades during the day something is weird. Plus I have been drinking so what do I know. LOL. TMAN...

Oh dear, TMAN, please tell me you have not been to the CSHD Kool-Aid Stand???? [Big Grin]

I haven't been following the last couple of weeks, though I do know the Forex site is up and running. All of the after hours stuff is very interesting....one of the things that doesn't make much sense to me is why the price is still so low. Sure, not $1 or anything like that right now, but .0009 even in the range?

ZeroCool - you posted that they have backing from Wachovia - how do you know that? And, are you saying a backer in the form of a loan, or backer in that they are invested in the company in other ways?

Thanks all!
