But forget about the mods for a sec...if a person has only been at allstocks a few days fine...but some people doing the duplicates have been here long enough to know not to do it...
they just want their name at the top of a thread where a stock ran.
Dollar13's been here since the summer...he knows better...
but yet people keep making a mess with these double posts.
we should have rules like just put the ticker and company name in the title like IHUB...instead of BANY news out !! 2 bagger. Just keep it clean, one tread with ticker and company name would be great IMO.

I'm kind of torn on this issue. If there is exciting new news, it seems like you should be able to post a new thread saying "News out for XXXX" and then say "see the thread at www.allstocks.com/whatever" and have a mod lock it or delete it after a while, but there are definitely times when I agree with you that people start new threads so that they are the one whos name shows up. There are also times that a poster says "XXXX is at a low of .05, buy now!" Then it keeps dropping so they start a new post that says "XXXX is definitely at a bottom of .03!" Etc, and eventually it starts to go up and they try to look smart. Just do a search for AMEP and you'll see what I mean.

There is argument on both sides that is valid here. What I hate is a new thread started to intentionaly bury the original one because of not so positive posts. That's done quite often too. New people to the stock should be able to have the whole picture, not just..get in now!
