Dr. B has personal debt almost paid off, which by the way should reflect his, ...excuse me if you will, "debt management".
that in itself goes a long way with me.
another thing, the next 6 months will tell where this company is going.
for now i'll believe they truly want to focus on VA/gov. contracts. and yes maybe it was a bad idea to sell Nurses Onsite, but what the hell. i like there new vision.
they could'nt be in a better industry at this point in time. healthcare. and we all know by now how much medical staffing is in demand, and even better...it will be for many years to come.
all mssi has to do now, as they refocus, is stay honest and keep working as hard as they have been the last 12 months.
if the news that is about to be released (whenever) does not pertain to the current contract negotiations, well then i'll still give them another 30-60 days.
to be honest though, i'm crossing my fingers on the upcoming release because we need to at least get back up to .01
gl to us all.

todays news, the NOC loi termination from General Healthcare Resources, along with the Democrats outlook of our healthcare system only leaves me scratching my head.
i just hope if we keep them, they continue to carry their weight (profitability).
initially with the purchase of NOC i personally thought Dr. B bit off more than he could chew. maybe thats why he really wanted to sell them off anyways....who knows.
oh well, still waiting to hear about the current bids.

On September 6, 2006, Medical Staffing Solutions, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent ("LOI") with General Healthcare Resources, Inc. (the "Purchaser") and Nurses Onsite Corp. ("NOC"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company pursuant to which the Purchaser would acquire substantially all of the assets of NOC as disclosed in the Company's Current Report on Form 8-K as filed by the Company with the SEC on September 13, 2006. On November 28, 2006, the Purchaser informed the Company and NOC of its intention not to consummate the transaction set forth in the LOI and therefore, the LOI was terminated.

just got off the phone with reba, she said there is another pr about to be released announcing a new contract. no details. but did say it was not the BIG contract i mentioned before. she said that particular company put out an extension for bids and that mssi has not even submitted their bid yet.
oh well, i'm just glad to know we have another. hope we eventually win that big she talks about.

she also mentioned that information/plans about NOC will be announced soon.
she did "admit" that mssi and noc did not compliment each other. she also said that it was apparent Dr. B underestimated the economy at the time the noc idea was consummated.
i just wished like hell they would of not purchased noc to begin with.
they should of, at the soonest, at least waited til they were profitable before acquiring any damn thing. they need to find a buyer fast, and focus on what they know and what they have proven to be good at, and that is staffing. especially staffing VA facilities.
NOC was definately a step backwards.
