First Pet Life Board of Directors Approves Acquisition 12:18p ET February 13, 2007 (PR NewsWire) First Pet Life announced today the company has taken the necessary steps to complete the transaction to be acquired by Direst Pet Health Holdings. A meeting with the Board of Directors resulted in a unanimous vote for approval to proceed with the acquisition.
A quorum is scheduled, whereby a 51% vote from shareholders will be the final phase of the acquisition's completion.
Terms of the agreement will be released explaining the ratio of shareholder value relating to how the ratio structure will be calculated for current First Pet Life shareholders as the acquisition moves forward.
