Country Of Citizenship: Canada Residence: San Jose, Costa Rica, Costa Rica, South & Middle America Industry: Gambling /Leisure Marital Status: single, no children
Son of grain and pig farmers grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Canada; placed first bets playing blackjack with hockey teammates (see story). Sold fruit on side of the road, organized party trips to Cuba during college. University of Western Ontario M.B.A. ran into trouble 1991: civilly charged with insider trading, eventually settled for $10,000 and banishment from Vancouver Stock Exchange until 2016. Set up online gambling Web site Bodog.com in 2000. Based in Costa Rica, sales up 150% to $210 million last year. Profit margins exceed 25%. The problem: Taking bets from Americans is illegal, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. The solution: wire money to London, process bets in Costa Rica, develop marketing and technology in Canada, advertise in the U.S. "We run a business that cannot actually be described as gambling in each country we operate in. But when you add it all together, it's Internet gambling." Now trying to become a star, using good looks and America's unquenchable thirst for celebrities to make Bodog more noticeable than competitors PartyGaming and Sportingbet. Bodog now owns TV unit, music label; producing a poker show with Fox Sports Net to be broadcast in April.

- UFC have apparently dropped their interest in hiring Kurt Angle. Originally, they planned to bring him in for Ultimate Fighter 5, which starts filming in January, as a wrestling coach for one of the teams whilst learning more about fighting skills at the same time. Then he would have been built up for a PPV match with Daniel Puder in June or July. Dana White said "I want guys who want to be real fighters. We had a great meeting [when Angle was in Las Vegas, staying at the Red Rock, in negotiations with UFC] and I honestly thought we had him. He's a nice guy, but I'm not going to blur the line [between pro-wrestling and MMA]. He told me that pro-wrestling ruined his life and the next thing you know, he tells me he's going back to pro-wrestling." White noted that Angle informed him of how much TNA had offered him and that UFC had topped it, but that it still wasn't enough. "They have to be paying him a boatload of money." There are still numerous other MMA groups interested in working with Angle. According to Tokyo Sports, Sadaharu Tanigawa of Hero's made him an offer and is trying to arrange a fight with Brock Lesnar for next year, which Angle is thought unlikely to agree to because Lesnar has a full-time dedication to fight training. Angle's people have also turned down a $500,000 offer to fight Roger Gracie in December, not just because the date was too soon but because they want a multi-fight deal with PPV percentage. Because of this their main goal was UFC, and an offer for a fight against Frank Shamrock in World Fighter 2007 is also unlikely to be accepted. One source said "We are still working on Angle, but no luck. They are protecting him good."
- Randy Couture has signed as a UFC ambassador for The Fight Network in Canada. He'll be doing pre- and post-show coverage, as well as subbing for Joe Rogan to announce with Mike Goldberg when Rogan is off touring his comedy show. Couture is also working with Marc Ratner in educating athletic commissioners on MMA. Their first target is Illinois, with New York and Orlando also earmarked.
- Spike TV has added a fourth show to its Thursday night TNA/UFC block. Inside the UFC will air at midnight, debuting on 11/9. It will be a magazine show, hosted by Joe Rogan.
- UFC has also signed a deal to get Unleashed dubbed into Spanish and broadcast on Fox Sports Espanol, as part of its drive to get into the Spanish market.
- Kalib Starnes vs. Yushin Okami has been added to the 10/14 PPV. Also, Wander Braga is having visa issues and will be replaced by Junior Assancao for the fight against Kurt Pellegrino.
- Thales Leitis is off the 10/10 Spike TV special, also due to visa problems, and will be replaced by Crafton Wallace for his dark match against Nathan Marquardt.
- Dean Lister is dating WWE Diva Search finalist Milena Roucka.

Now that was a bold and daring proclamation. Way to really pinpoint and narrow this down. You should be a guest host on CNBC with your pinpoint analysis.

Systematic Designs sure have some high profile clients.
I liked TFN when I initially bought BKMP and I think it is an even better product now, regardless of where the current pps is....While we wait for the infamous "US Carrier PR" we have had a number of opportunities to flip in and out for profits or freebies. Not disappointed here....

burn do you mind if i ask how many shares you have. i currently have 34 mil. down quite a bit on them right now but patiently waiting as i do beleive this has the potential still to make it into penny land one day. might take a couple of years or a couple of good quarters but i feel that tfn is growing and expanding at a fairly alarming rate and bkmp(blackout media) might just benefit very well with our 20% stake in due time. we must also remember bkmp has other sources of income and i would love to hear some further updates as to the developement of the wagering network. that could be very good as well if they are able to jump through the loopholes of online gambling and such.
thanx for your replys (burn if you dont feel comfortable sharing that info i understand i am just wondering at what price really you think this could realistictly go to one day). i feel we might be able to make it close to a penny on a good momentum run with positive news over the course of about six weeks of steady buying pressure. and for anyone wondering other peoples cost basis i am averaged in at .0006 so i am down quite a bit and not panicing at all.
best of luck to all my fellow fighters sincerely your bkmpidiot.
Nirvana i am wondering the source of your negativity. are you down big on this stock from your purchases, do you want it to go down, or do you believe this is truly a scam that is going to cost the longs dearly. just curious thanx.
