i am in canada(yes Canada!!..Go Oilers) and i am using etrade currently, i am paying 9.99 a trade and i am doing about 20-25 trades a day. They are ok but not the greatest, and i wanted to find a nother company with cheaper commision and i really dont care for the customer service!
i called etrade today and they are willing to give me trades for 8.99, they say only 1 other person in all of etrade canada gets this rate(bull****) anyways does anyone here have any brokers they can reccomend to me
Any reccomendtions would help and i would really appreciate them
Thanks in advance!

ChoiceTrade kicks *ss dude. You can not beat their $5 flat fee charge for an unlimited amount of stock purchase or sale. Their customer service is awesome and they have never given me any problems... in the past 5 months at least...
Good luck

I like choicetrade. flat $5 trades, real-time quotes (L2's extra, but I use alphatrade for that), no account minimums, no percentage commissions on large trades, does pinks/otc, etc...
I have been with them over a year and have had no issues. They accept ACH deposits/withdrawals as well. Sounds like the $5 trades could save you some money my friend!

Just remember one thing, commission fees aren't everything with a broker, especially with pinks. YOu have to understand how they route their orders. Like Ameritrade. They have relationships with some MM's.. so in some cases for some stocks, you do get better fills.
If you have a broker with no relationship with MM's for pinks, they can let your order sit and die on the vine.

Viper is still the car to own in my honest opinion!! I do like the little lotus, not big on small engines!(I am one of those bloody americans who loves to burn gas lol) but the Lotus is very good looking and still fast. And at 45 to 50 grand it's a good buy

It's an Ameritrade company that offers $5 trades. I've been using it for a couple years now and has saved me a lot of money.

yeah i get the updates on the game and watch it when the hurrcanes and habs have an intermission(like right now) this is so embarrasing for the flyers...the sabres are for real!
i still think NJ wins it all...15 wins in a row
an if they win the cup i win $1050
so go NJ and Carolina, and ofcourse the oilers
but eversince i was 5 my favorite team has been the BLUES(dont ask me why) but this year i dont even want to talk about the blues but u know the playoff streak had to end some year, its just sad to see it end like this
anyways next year GO BLUES!!

Are there any hidden fees with choicetrade? For example, with Scottrade there is some kind of 1/2 percentage fee and with Fidelity there are extra fees when you trade more than 1000 shares.

Canadian residents cannot open accounts with the US brokers. only if the broker has a branch in Canada. For example, Interactive Brokers has one. For CyberTrader, Canadians would use QuestTrade.
