Ah I hate when that happens. I had BZTG (was actc or something) for months waiting for more backback news. About two weeks ago since it hadnt moved much & I figured I'd get back in, in a few weeks, so I sold it with a 2% loss just to free up $ quick from PGPM. Wouldnt you know, 3 days after I sold the SOB nearly doubled, I was in at about .02 & it went to .036 ... I can never win !!!!! Ah well, hope that makes you feel better. At least you wont miss the boat like I did. *sigh*

Nobody knows for sure when the PR will be released. Don't believe what anyone tells you in here unless you have some solid DD.

Lots of speculation!

I just hope we get something solid to make this POP! GLTA

A billion barrel field, on-shore Texas, would be a MAJOR find. GIANT field status. NOTHING on Texas RR Commission site, NO area new stories, geologists Ive talked to have heard NOTHING. NOTHING! These are the same properties they've had for over a 1.5 yrs, near as I can tell. They HAD a reputable company evaluate them in Jan '05, Gleason Engineering. 572,192 bbls, NOT 900 million. Its on their website!!!!! They've added NO additional properties, NO drilling whatsoever. They only have a 20% working interest as it is. What about the company(s) that own the other 80%? The "500 acre/feet lake" is the same sand zone they've talked about before. Nothing deeper. Why nothing from the majority owner, ANYWHERE.
Go to Gustavson's website, READ. They will PROMOTE your company for you. POGC & MOL are two they list. That bothers me. Ive seen too many promoters & flybynight con artists thru the years. Worked for a couple!!
Look at the unaudited "financial statements" on their website. I estimate last year their part (20%) was 5600 bbls from their leases. Yet Fast Eddie Monet has told people on other boards they produced 20 million barrels last year!! Thats a billion bucks!! They sure didnt report it in their financial ended Dec '05!!
Believe the paid pumpers ON THIS THREAD if you want. They say hold, BUY BUY BUY BUY! I firmly and honestly believe this is a scam, bravo sierra. I also believe Gustavson will REALLY be sticking their necks in the noose if their evaluation is significantly different from Gleason Engineering.
Play it like any other POS pink. This is NOT a long hold. [Big Grin]

I was looking for positive posts from you in the past two months concerning any stock. I couldn't find any. What gives?

No accusations, just an observation.

Check the PBLS thread. Think I had one or two in there. [Big Grin] I dont post much, unless I have something to say besides "I hope" "I pray" "Go xxxx" I like to examine the warts, chew thoroughly before swallowing. This POS was SO over the top, so amusing I couldnt resist.By the way, Purl Gurl had it right. YOU could buy this POS with a personal check. Anyway, I'm having GREAT fun with this one. It smells like MLON (YOU remember THAT one, don't you Dardadog?)

I remember MLON alright. It ended up being a barrel of bullchit that's for sure. But in the end if everyone played the bounces on MLON they should still have made profit on the stock. I tell traders that are looking for respectability that they are only as good as the last one they call. I've can't even begin to guess how many money makers I've called over the past few years, but MLON is my albatross. I chuckle as it gets brought up to me every few months and it's been close to two years since it was a play. Surprised I have any stars on this board.

I dont want to be TOO harsh dog. I was a newby noob then. Didnt understand that yer a daytrader (minute/hour). Didnt know how to get OUT quickly. Lost 90%. But, you WERE telling eveyone to hold till end of year, as it crashed into the toilet in NOV. So, forgive me if Im cautious when you say HOLD. And yes, youve touted some good short term runners. This is running on a BS PR. Look at the history of this company. Formerly BPET, dead in the water. Received an email from someone(Cindy Hotpicks I think) a couple weeks before the run. Said MAJOR STOCK PROMOTION. Thats warning enough to be careful, but hey, a plays a play. Right? Just treat it as such. Dont hold. Anyway dog, you said before "Greed has killed more daytraders than bad stocks" (i think thats close). Greed is full blown HERE. [Eek!] No one seems to be interested in reading,on Pilgrims OWN website, Gleason Engineering's report, the financials (started '05 with about $1200 in the bank)or the USGS report for the 60 county area.I post and Im a basher. Oh well.

I don't mean to be coming across on this stock as highly as you seem to imply OILDOG. I don't think I've tried to influence anyone to look beyond a few week hold at best here for 0.25 - 0.30 possibility. I played it well the first massive run at the beginning of the month, as such I have a nice "not-out-of-pocket" position here. It's the pennies....as I've always tried to maintain, play them for the momentum. Much of my posts are actually geared to help those that got in high a few weeks back and to encourage them to hold for results PR expected out and its reaction on price to limit thier losses. As I recall, I apologized for leading everyone astray on MLON nearly two yrs ago in a lengthy post here on allstocks. Sorry also that it was one of your learning experiences early in your trading career. But as I also recall, my signature has ALWAYS been "Do Da Due - But Be Damn Quick About It!!!". From one Dog to another, if I'd burned me 90% on a play I'd put my azz on the "Ignore This Prikk" list in my profile.......even though I wasn't in control of your buy and sell button.

The Gleason eval does consist of 572,192 bbls. However that eval only reflects data concerning 8 wells. In the opening statements on Pilgrim's website they state,

"Currently, the Pilgrim is concentrating its efforts in the Lilly Hooks Field, where three Sand Zones are oil productive across the entire Field. The D Zone is the principal producer, with non-proven reserves of about 100,000 barrels per well. The A and B Zones have reserves of about 25,000 barrels each. Pilgrim owns about 80 old wells in the area, and it will drilling new infill wells. During the next six months. The old wells are currently being recompleted in the A and B Zones."

They state that they are working with an area of conservative approximation 12000 acres at a depth of 500 feet. This gives us 261,360,000,000
cubic feet of land area. 900M barrels is equivelant to 3,789,843,750 cubic feet of area. This 900M estimate then is a mere less than 1.5 % of the area being evaluated.

Given the statistics put out by the USGS for the Bend Arch-Fort Worth Basin Province this sounds to me more than just a possibility.

"Using a geology-based assessment
methodology, the U.S. Geological Survey estimated a mean of 26.7 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of undiscovered natural gas, a mean of
98.5 million barrels of undiscovered
oil, and a mean of 1.1 billion barrels
of undiscovered natural gas liquids
in the Bend Arch-Fort Worth Basin
Province. More than 98 percent, or
26.2 TCF, of the undiscovered natural
gas resource is continuous gas in
Mississippian-age Barnett Shale."

Well the dogs are out today eh!
I gotta chime in here and say that I made a boatload on MLON (I thank DaDog for that one and many others), and so far I've made a BIG boatload on PGPM...hold long term...I don't think so...no penny stock is worth that. Is there anything left here...I think so...just by watching the MM activity tells me that there is bank to made here short term. Talking the stock up or bashing it down doesn't appear to be having any effect on the pps...only time will tell here...but I'm holding mine for now.

I'm no oil anything, those are just numbers. I only know numbers and I just want to remain positive until that PR is released. California has its biotech and Texas has its oil. Here small biotechs struggle to stay afloat, but for the most part they are legit, all the ones I have dealt with anyhow, they got hopes and dreams. I don't see the small oil company any different, most don't do what they do just because they have nothing better to do, they do it cause there is always potential for something big, its hard to convince an investor to invest in a dream. Therefore I don't buy into the idea that this company is a scam.

I'm a biologist in the San Diego biotechnology industry. I agree! I have been a apart of numerous small biotech companies. I take the offer because during the interview process I meet fellow scientists that appear VERY passionate about the company's endeavor and on paper, with some preliminary feasibility data, it looks VERY achievable. More often than not, the company folds because they ran out fo cash before they could achieve "proof of principle."

The correlation here is PGPM has a business plan, have done their research, and decided to make a go at it.

IMVHO...I don't think the main report will be out this week, but knowing PGPM they will address us, update us on its status.
