A little late, but let me join Will in giving some props to OhhhYeah for his righteous DD.
I was flipflopping on where to put my money in for next week between this and PBLS. Saw a nice little White Marubozu forming on FMLY, which piqued my interest.
I like both charts, but immaturely enough, what put me over the top was the low OS and my ability to now make a bunch of mob/Godfather jokes- you know like "welcome to the FMLY".
I invest like I'm a 6 year old basically. I'm now going to see if there are any OTC stocks with names like POOP or TURD.

Yea, it's kind of unfortunate, but it's the best system Allstocks to come up with. I think everyone enjoys some type of recognition. A lot of times people's rating suffer from just exposing a weakness of a stock, or taking a position opposite the majority. The abuse of the system got bad enough for me to disable that feature. The emotional replies, and childish personal attacks had me close to just leaving and not posting anymore. My picks will run if I post 'em or keep 'em to myself.

these guys are actually making money, check out the last earnings! The projected income outweighs the cash requirements.
FMLY’s estimate of net cash requirements for overhead for the next twelve months subsequent to December 2005, is approximately $115,000 (includes the above fixed cost estimate of $73,600) a month for a twelve month total of $1,380,000. The estimate of cash in flow (net of film cost and fees) from operations for that time period from projects currently in place is estimated to be approximately $2,000,000. We are unable to estimate beyond this twelve month period because we are still in negotiation on a number of projects.
In order to sustain operations in the near term, it is anticipated that motion pictures produced by FMLY will be entirely financed through outside sources. In April 2004, we received $644,455 in funds pursuant to a subscription agreement. On October 6, 2004, the Company received $1,300,000 from Tau Entertainment (Elisa Salinas), an investor, for the production of the movie “The Tenants”. The investor is to recoup the investment within four months following the delivery of the picture to the worldwide distributor (which is estimated to be June 14th, 2006) at 4% interest plus 50% of the net profits of the underlying movie. The funds advanced under the agreement are restricted to use in the production of “The Tenants”. In March 2005, the Company received an additional $2,179,719 advance from Elisa Salinas under terms similar to the original $1,300,000 advance. The $2,179,719 advance is restricted to use and has been invested in the productions of: $1,719,719 in Borderland, $250,000 in Wickerman, and $130,000 in Room Service as of December 2005. At December 31, 2005, Freedoms Films has invested $2,148,895 in Borderland, Scorched Earth invested $500,000 in Borderland, and E F F Partners, LLC invested $271,514 in White Air. In January 2006, Freedoms Films invested an additional $125,000 in Borderland and Scorched Earth invested an additional $72,500 into Borderland.
and this pretty much is still in the start up stages imo.
another reason i believe this will only get better, this is just a few noteable movies that will be released in the near future by FMLY : 1) THE WICKER MAN starring Nicolas Cage 2)THE CONTRACT starring John Cusack and Morgan Freeman 3) 88 MINUTES starring Al Pacino take a look at these names people, these are not has-beens. these are todays top movie stars. i like all of them and these people do only top notch Blockbuster type films. these are just a few of the movies that will be released in the future but there are many more. how in the world is this co. only trading * .015 ??? this seems hugely undervalued to me, double digit pps estimates don't seem far fetched to me, not by a mile. i can only see this going much higher. glta.
Family Room Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ OTC BB: FMLY), is please to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Emmett/Furl Films announced today in conjunctions with Avi Lerner’s Millennium Films that they have signed Jon Avnet to direct “88 Minutes,” based on Gary Scott Thompson’s original spec. The only problem is, you don't know FMLY's level of participation in the producing of any movies, no detail. You don't know if the executives who are listed as executive producers are doing their investment for themselves or through FMLY.

Not argueing that their participation will have some benefit. Can you tell me FMLY's level of participation, the service they provide to each movie, the strucure of each deal with anticipated revenues? It will most likely run. The run will have difficulty being sustained for lack of hard numbers, the PR's are ambiguous, enough to get your interest, and specualte benefit through logically assuming linkage, but not detailed.

based on the previous earnings report and projections we can only summize to what extent each role plays,we will have to wait for the next 10-Q to get the details but even with minimal parts or involvement the company gets residual revenues per everything I have been reading pertaining to the releases.

I have been on this stock for awhile now. I am positive on it. However, some are making it sound like a sure thing to see a dime overnight. Please everyone, keep in mind just Friday they ran this from an open of .0127 to HOD of .0197, (55%). It will most likely gap, but I don't think it ready for dimeland or above just yet. I expect that there will be buying opportunities yet to come. I guess I have seen to many times a stock being overhyped early on, with newer investors getting in, only to disappointed on a retrace after a bounce. Grant it, it is everyone's personal responsibility to play a stock as they see it, but over doing it based on specualtion and assumption just seems a bit aggressive to me. Guess I would like to see more detail than : "Emmett/Furla Films provided producing-type services in connection with "16 BLOCKS.""
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Member posted March 01, 2006 22:08 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been watching FMLY since 2/10/05 when it had unusually high volume of 4.1M, and was trading at .015. More interesting was 2/16, when it was taken down to .011. Those numbers sorta/kinda told me it was ready, but since then it has been bouncing between .012 / .017 on modest volume.
The latest 10Q filed on 2/13 shows :
State the number of shares outstanding of each of the Registrant's classes of common equity, as of the latest practicable date. Outstanding as of February 9, 2006 117,666,843 Shares.
I saw Bruce Willis on Letterman last night plugging the movie, and I thought I saw that he is scheduled for Leno tonight. I haven't verified if, or to what extent FMLY is really involved with the movie.
The numbers say something is going on. Worth watching. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
will Member posted March 02, 2006 23:26 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good job, OhhhYeah.
I liked the stock, the volume and price variance convinced me.
Just like seeing some documented facts of any claim, good or bad.
Executive Producers usually put up $ ! The question is, was it his money, or FMLY's, and how much?

Will I'm not sure but volume of 50 million on Friday is a little different than volume of 4 million from 1 month ago... Where is this going to retrace to .01? It closed at .015 and has not dipped into subpenny land yet. Market Cap here is under $2 million dollars and O/S is 117 million with the A/S at only 200 million, so not much room to dump many shares. The new movies that are coming out with the big names are much larger projects than what they have done in the past, I wish I had the structure for each deal too, but if it is similiar to the previous deals then they will make money. Profits were up last year and they are certainly going to rise this year. We will see, every penny is speculative but clearly this stock is sitting at it's 52 week low and has a shorting problem and we just experienced 50X normal volume. Next week is going to be big...

I don't disagree. It probably won't retrace to .01. Believe me, I would never confuse 4M Volume with 50M Volume either. The point of mentioning the 4M and the take down to .011 on Feb 16 was nothing more then to say, based on those numbers a run could have been predicted in the near future. If JimSC and I were still doing the UHV thread, you have seen this one mentioned there Feb 16.
