To all: Could the MM's driving the pps down yesterday and today be a function of MM's and trading houses attempting to accumulate shares to cover their positions in returning the 27 billion bought back share to PAIM at their (the MMs and trading houses)lowest possible cost. My recall is this statement from a PR from around 7/12/2006 "However, PAIM has not received any of the 27,000,000,000 common shares subject of the buyback. DTCC should be in the process of sending to PAIM 90% of the common and outstanding shares in exchange for the CDs." .. .. .. Just a thought. An apologies for repeating something if this line of thought as already been discussed.

Bucky: your thought sums up the action precisely. Market forces would never (NEVER) create the sort of bid/ask levels we're seeing here.
This is all about discipline. The clock is ticking and they're doing everything they can to get our shares cheap. If we hold, we win. If we break ranks, they win.
Look at today's volume relative to the rest of the run. So far, we're holding.
That said--don't neglect to take profits at your target levels (I passed up a chance to ride free shares yesterday and so am more nervous now than I would like to be.)

Kermit42: TY.....I am on free shares at this point and holding fast. I believe the basis for value is here and it is more than worth the wait...just sitting still, watching, and waiting for the MM's to get out of the way. GLTA.. .. .

accumulation is very nice..saw that 32 million buy order at 0.0022 below the ask...thats no noob. i see 10 big buys in a row...a small sell...another row of big buys...its accumulation, it HAS to move the price if all the buys were at 25...at least i think so ( cuz i grabed me a bunch)

I just saw a sale go through at .0032 while the bid/ask was 17X20. The ask never came off .002
This is bewildering. And total BS. I'm starting to wonder when (if?) the MM's will go back to pretending that the buy and ask mean something. That market forces mean something. The level of MM fraud here is stunning.

So, if buyback is really just starting and not complete...the pulldown is to make whatever number PAIM want's to buyback at AND allow shorts to cover.
Wasn't it PR'd that the buyback was almost complete...almost has never equaled 5% in my world.

been watching my T&S all morning...there were so many cumulative buys this should have moved to the 30s by now...but if its just them trying to cover their positions after screwing up then i guess they will keep the price down until they grab as much as possible...
