Cardinal Communications' Cardinal Broadband Division Implements VOIP to New and Existing Customers
Monday February 6, 2:40 pm ET

BROOMFIELD, Colo., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cardinal Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CDNC - News), a leading provider of video, voice and high-speed Internet communications services, and a specialized developer of residential real estate, today announced that its Cardinal Broadband division has recently converted three of its 22 multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties to Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) from PBX-based technology or UNP resale lines from QWEST.

Jon Bartlett, Cardinal Broadband President, is leading the charge to have all remaining Cardinal Broadband properties converted to fully 911-enabled VOIP Digital Voice services by the beginning of summer. He said, "The economies of providing VOIP digital phone services to our existing and future customers over our existing infrastructure far outweighs the costs of providing traditional switched or resale phone services."

Recently, Cardinal Broadband was selected by several local businesses to be their exclusive provider of voice and Internet services. These services were provided using VOIP Digital Voice technology. By using the fully 911-enabled VOIP infrastructure designed by the Cardinal Broadband staff, Jon Bartlett has stated that he "expects to decrease the cost to deliver phone services by as much as 50% to new and existing customers."

Ed Garneau, CEO of Cardinal Communications, Inc., has stated, "that the initiative by Jon Bartlett and his staff to convert existing and new customers to a more cost effective delivery methodology is right in line with our strategy to upgrade our technology and improve our customers' experience. Jon and his staff should be recognized for their efforts to improve Cardinal Broadband's Bundled Digital Service offerings for our customers, and to improve the bottom line."

Im surprised you guys arent talking more about CDNC. This may be a great play in another month. These quotes where taken from the CEO in past PR's. Seems like CDNC is one of the first in the budding market of real estate and telecommunications combined.

"The company plans to expand its real estate and broadband divisions to more areas and more customers. Profitability, he said in the call, could be reached by mid-year. The stock, which currently trades for around 2 cents on an over-the-counter exchange, eventually could be relisted on a major exchange, he said. Cardinal also could acquire similar companies, he said.
"The best way to silence the critics and get people on your side is to show them a profit," Garneau said Tuesday in an interview."

“This project is the first of several commercial retail space developments that our Sovereign division has planned,” stated Ed Garneau, chief executive officer of Cardinal Communications. “In addition to generating lease revenue through Sovereign, our Cardinal Broadband division will be providing the bundled digital communication services to the businesses that occupy the leased space. This project will demonstrate our ability to create long-term telecommunication revenue streams from developments we build.”

"Construction of the Shoppes at Settler’s Chase will be managed by Sovereign Homes of Colorado. The buildings are expected to be completed in May 2006, with tenant finish and occupancy to commence in June. Retail space will rent for $21 to $25 per square foot. In addition to 3 Margaritas Restaurant, a coffee shop chain, dry cleaners and check cashing chain have already optioned for retail space."

Procurement: Thats the name of the game.

great volume after this news but afternoon sales
sent price back to base

expecting more news during next months

Cardinal Communications, Inc. (CDNC) , a provider of voice, video and high-speed broadband communications services, and a specialized developer of residential real estate, announced today that its Sovereign Homes of Colorado subsidiary has entered into sales contracts for all of its existing inventory of single-family homes. In addition, it received a substantial number of sales contracts on pre-construction homes. The contracts involve homes within Sovereign's Pumpkin Ridge development, a modern single-family development located in Greeley, Colorado, approximately 60 miles northeast of Denver. These contracts, which when closed will represent approximately $10,200,000 of revenue to Cardinal Communications, constitute the first of several sales that the Company hopes to achieve over the next several months, according to Jeff Fiebig, president of the Sovereign division. Closing of the inventory homes will happen in the next few weeks, while completion and closing of the pre-construction homes is projected for the fourth quarter of 2006.

According to Fiebig, "The sale of these homes and the additional contracts we expect over the next few months put us well ahead of schedule, and will provide strong top and bottom-line financial growth throughout 2006. I am confident that we will completely sell out of our Pumpkin Ridge subdivision well ahead of projections. I am proud of Team Sovereign for their efforts to aggressively sell and finish these quality homes. We intend to take this successful game plan and implement it in our pending developments, including our Arizona project."

Sovereign Homes has been named one of the Preferred Builders for the 1600-home, master planned El Rio Country Club community project in northwest Arizona's Mojave Valley. The El Rio Country Club is a 640-acre gated community anchored by an 18-hole championship golf course.
